Also, their antique Easter offerings are legit. Although jam-packed with stuff (little to no furniture, it's all knick-knacks, I believe), so much so that it's hard to take it all in, I think even Marie Kondo herself would find immense joy in something here. The prices aren't low, but they're fair. Similar items selling on Poshmark and eBay and other such sites are going for double and sometimes triple the prices that they are asking for. They are extremely knowledgeable in their vocation. They know what they're doing and they know the proper price point. They also offer really cool and unique up-cycled products. I urge you to go check out the up-cycled vintage 80s jeans. Vintage Shop Carmel is also a consignment shop so if you yourself are looking to sell vintage or antique goods, including clothing and purses at a great price, they're the ones for you. Last, but not least the ladies who own and work at the shop are absolutely positively incredible. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they are funny. They are kind. I really appreciate that the owner stocks many items which are made in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Buying Fair-trade is important to me. I want to buy items from countries that have product safety standards plus have labor standards. I really loved how most of the items I picked up weren't made in China. The shop is beautifully decorated. I ended up buying some bath sugar scrubs and some Fair-trade socks for my son. As I was paying for my purchases I couldn't help but notice the beautiful jewellery that was for sale there too. I plan on going back soon, especially with the holiday season coming up in the next couple of months.
