She does a great job and gathering all your medical history and current info to determine the best treatment options. She's hands down one of the best dr's I've worked with in 20+ years. Great office location, nice facilities, personable and friendly staff AND excellent medical care! No brainer. She's valid and a million times better than any dr in one of those large, well-known medical groups. We are glad we found her and you should be too. Tell me Im lying after your visit.

Initial impression is everything and, as a new patient today, I nearly walked out of the office before even being seen. Why? I arrived at my appointment 1/2 an hour early and needed to use the restroom after signing in. I asked the Russian lady at the front desk if they were going to need a specimen (I was 99% sure theyd only do bloodwork but thought I would ask to be sure) and was told "I don't know. Ask the nurse." Ok..except I needed to go like then. So I sit and I wait for a few minutes before she calls me back up and asks me to sign some paper for today's payment of over $200. I pointed out that a specialist visit is not subject to deductable (I also do medical billing) and that my copay is $50. Her response? "I only give what I am told." Well miss lady you were told wrong. She got with the guy in billing and he had it fixed. If I hadn't known to question this I would have been out that money. Finally I see Dr. Blaise and, again, I really liked her. She has really good bedside manner and explains everything. I left feeling comfortable with what she told me. BUT..... As I checked out (with the Russian lady again) I received the orders including for a sleep study. I asked if I could use a certain facility because my husband recently had one there and it was nice. She told me their preferred facility because "it is cheaper." Ok folks, I'm sorry but at this point I really was wondering what her deal was. I didn't ask for financial counseling, or express hardship. In fact I recall telling her I met my deductable within the first couple weeks of the year due to diagnostics I had. So why are charges of her concern? The preferred facility had bad reviews (like 1.5 stars) so no. I want to go where I want to go. I hope Dr. Blaise gets her in line because I usually don't have that type of patience so any other day I would have left.

Despite me saying I was not interested in an elective c-section, it was mentioned at every single appointment. One doctor even went as far as saying, let's just schedule one because it's easier to cancel than to schedule one last minute. I think Northside can make you feel like just a number in the baby factory. I do want to add the ultrasound techs are fantastic and so is the front desk staff.

Easy scheduling process and availability. Appointment was not rushed. Dr. Rabinowitz was attentive and took the time to listen. He is extremely professional and a true conversationalist. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and experienced. I wouldn't consider switching for another allergist under any circumstance. Dr. Rabinowitz is the best of the best! I was referred to his office by my primary GP due to a food related allergic reaction and had to take a few allergy tests (skin prick test, intradermal injections, and an ImmunoCAP IgE blood test). While the tests were slightly uncomfortable--one of which was 52 skin pricks, ouch! Dr. Rabinowitz and his team of nurses were detailed in explaining the procedures being done. Post appointment, he always provides exemplary follow-up if any additional issues arises. He's a doctor that has a true dedication to his craft--all the while showing empathy and humanity towards his patients. Definitely recommend to come here if you're having allergy related issues!

Let me first say that I have been to multiple doctors' offices in Atlanta prior to this appointment. I have out of state insurance. It has never been a problem for any office before. I receive a call from the office from Rebecca several days prior to my appointment. They asked me to call my insurance because they couldn't figure out the number to my insurance (it's on the back of the card I sent them). They then proceeded to give me codes and a number to call. She also asked that I bring in their phone number (BCBS) because she is "confused" and can't figure it out for other patients. NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY? Strange but okay. I called and my insurance said they could have called the number they gave me and that I shouldn't have had to call. Okay. I come in to my appointment. Rebecca greets me and is annoyed that I did not fill out the paperwork prior to my visit. Alright. She then informs me that because I did not call her BACK with my insurance findings I would be responsible for the entire cost of my visit. I told her I reached out to my insurance as she requested and she said, "I'm very busy here answering the phone and greeting patients so I probably won't be able to call your insurance today. So you'll have to pay the full amount." I informed her that I have seen several other specialists and physicians here and they had no problem contacting my insurance. I then asked her to politely call. She said she couldn't make any promises. I'm sorry -- that's your JOB. The way which she treated me thereafter is something I have NEVER experienced at a doctor's office! She then called my insurance and said I would be responsible for a part of the visit although I later confirmed with my insurance that was NOT the case. I don't even think she called my insurance. I later told the doctor about this situation and he apologized and then began to tell me some personal details about the receptionist's life and said she's going through some personal family stuff. I felt so uncomfortable this entire time I don't even know what was happening here. After my appointment I was informed that my insurance does in fact cover the visit. However, I received a bill for the full amount a week after the visit. I had to call them AGAIN and straighten everything out. This entire debacle completely marred my opinion of this practice. Helpful and friendly front desk staff is essential to any service or physician's office and I was frankly shocked to receive such poor service and lack of politeness. I would highly recommend you going to one of the other allergist offices in Atlanta to avoid being interrogated and embarrassed because a front desk person has the inability to google an insurance number. TL;DR: IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF STATE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.
