Dr. Kelly and the physicians are wonderful. The nursing and office staff, however, are poorly trained/lack professionalism and provide very poor care. Without giving too much health information away about my child... we were given crucial newborn health information late/the nurses would not call back on numerous occasions. We were told "not to worry about it" and the nurse on call refused to listen to my child's respiratory sounds (which were croup) even despite me explaining that he had retractions. waiting times are not the greatest and the nurses are not accommodating nor creative in obtaining vitals/labs/etc. The waiting room area looks like it has not been updated since the 80s and I have never seen anyone intentionally cleaning the "sick" waiting area. Being a parent is difficult... the last thing you want to do is worry about the doctor's office staff giving you a hard time.

We have Dr. Sherwinter as our primary pediatrician and he is exceptionally good. He is one of Atlanta's finest and has been consistently featured as one of Atlanta magazine's top doctors. He demonstrated what an ideal pediatrician should be. He has been very generous in giving us referrals to other finest doctors in atlanta. I just hope he will not be retiring anytime soon. We have seen Drs.Reisman, Groeffer, Kelly and Berenson who were also skillful ,knowledgeable in their field and has demonstrated good bedside manner. 2. OFFICE - nothing fancy but clean. I'll give it a 3.5 3. OFFICE STAFF - they deserve a NO STAR -they've gone downhill. My recent experience was when i placed a call to make a sick appointment. I asked what's the earliest appt.they have -Destiny asked me whats wrong with my child and I replied she's been running a fever of 104 in the past 2 days and she said WHOA! Thats high! I replied that's why im calling and asking her the earliest appt.,she then told me that they only have Dr. Quarishi (the new doctor) which I had refused to see again bec he doesn't read his patient's chart before seeing them (he mistook my other daughter to be the one he's supposed to check) I felt that she should have asked for my preference and given me all options as my right as patient- She then told me she has Dr. Kelly at 430, so I requested her to book us for that. Later, I realized that I couldve checked the dunwoody location for any openings so i spoke to someone (which i missed to get the name while attending to a sick/cranky child) she asked me how quick we can get to Dunwoody, I said abt1 hr as we are still coming from the Forsyth area, she sarcastically remarked "i dont have any idea where is that" - Duh! They really lack manners and should be informed abt dos and donts in phone conversation. Anyway she booked us with Dr.Sherwinter. I informed her to cancel our initial booking in Alpharetta and she said she will. When we got to the Dunwoody location, the reception told me that we are not on the list - wow they really make it easy for parents with sick children! After I insisted that someone confirmed it with me, they eventually accommodated us otherwise I was prepared to make a scene with all the attitude that I have to endure from their staff. They have never apologized for their mistakes. 4. SICK APPOINMENTS - I'll give it 1 star, i dreaded it everytime i have to call them to make a sick appt cuz they are not therapeutic nor comforting at all. They make you feel that it's your fault that your child got sick. 5. NURSES - Overall, they are okay, the really good ones are gone, ill give them 3.5 stars, lately weve been seeing new nurses. Some appeared to have just got their LPNs as they seemed to be still struggling organizing their tasks.

Transparent about what is necessary for patients my age (under 30) and is practical with the advice that he provides. His team is absolutely incredible as well! Walking through the door you're greeted with a smile and pleasant greetings (Hi Amanda) and when having my blood drawn it was literally painless. I'm not one who is shy when getting blood drawn but I legitimately felt nothing from start to finish (Thanks Ashley!). Very professional team, extremely hospitable, and worth the drive. As someone who works from home there are few things like wake up at 6am to make a 45 minute drive but coming here is definitely one of them. I'm so excited to watch this practice blossom!!
