Customer service needs to improve. Came inside and was waiting at the counter for a least 7-10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. At first I thought I was invisible, not asking to be waited on, but at least to be acknowledged and we will be with you shortly. Please teach basic customer service skills to the employee. read more

First of all, I'm thankful that this spot was open on Thanksgiving day (7am-3pm), as I needed some coffee! The barista was cordial, but not particularly pleased to be working (I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was due to it being a holiday). Focusing on the drinks now... I ordered a Butter Bear Latte and a Peppermint Stick Mocha. Both drinks were not quite hot and the espresso didn't quite come through in the drinks - they seemed weak. They were tasty, but they were more sugar and milk than espresso. I wasn't impressed. The location is situated well near a Churchill's grocery store and is a well maintained location. I'd probably just get a regular coffee if I visited this location again. read more

This location is a joke. Not only is it slow (both at the drive thru as well as inside) but the staff is BEYOND rude. Today was the last time I will go here because of the ultra rude and condescending chick that took my order through the drive thru. I ordered my usual (chai with a plain bagel with butter and cream cheese), she repeated my order back to me and I confirmed what she read back was correct. I go to the window, pay for my order, and checked my bagel to find out she forgot my cream cheese. When I told her she simply rolled her eyes, walked away and when she came back she said "I'm not going to charge you for it today, but if you want it next time, it will be 60 cents." I asked if she was the lady who took my order and when she confirmed I (along with my passenger who heard her as well!) were both confused! When I mentioned the fact that she read it back correctly and simply forgot and item she immediately became defensive and acted like she was doing me a favor by giving me a little packet of overpriced cream cheese. GIVE.ME.A.BREAK. Needless to say, I gave her the measly 60 cents and left. I will takr my business to Dunkin' who happens to be in the same plaza with faster service and better staff! read more

I LOVE coffee, but I tend to be rather picky. I am not someone that typically gets flavored coffee, I usually get black. Biggby is by far the best coffee in the area. I like that the base coffee they have is nice and strong and when you ask for extra shots of espresso, they go above and beyond. I have tried a few of the flavored drinks and was pleasantly surprised that they weren't as god awful sweet as a lot of places. .still sticking to my black coffee though. Also, the tea lattes were fantastic. I recommend the mint tea latte read more

I was going for one star, but decided to give 2 due to the coffee atleast being very tasty. I come through here a few days every week. My wife loves the coffee here, better than the crap coffee I usually make, however the drive through is painfully slow. Some days even if I'm first in line I'll just shut the car off knowing I'm going to wait beyond expectations. The worst part is most of the female staff, There's a few selection here who are rude EVERYTIME I come through she takes my order and hands me food with the worst attitude. Now, again I'm here for coffee first and foremost, but these 2 problems, over the past few months of the course of a few days every week I have definitely put up with it enough. I'll try Dunkin, their coffee selection isn't as good and the line is longer, but they still get your order quicker anyway and the food is better too. read more

The owner of this franchise consistently under delivers on customer expectations. Never has enough help at the busier times. We spent 11 minutes in the drive thru on Sunday morning with one car ahead of us. The remodel of the store is a disaster. It appears the "contractor" used a jig saw to cut the laminate as it appears rough and jagged. It is new and has already separated from the wood. Let me be clear, this kids who work there are pleasant and do the best they can with the resources they are given. This is the owners conscious decision to run his store a cheaply as possible. Ordered Cheese bragel, received a Turkey bragel. Called to get what we ordered and they argued that we ordered Turkey, then told us to get back in the long drive thru line, instead of them just walking it out the front door (lobby is closed)... 20 minutes later, still sitting in drive thru waiting for their mistake. Once we finally got to the front, they asked for the mistake bragel back, and didn't throw it away (no apology). I assume they must've either eaten it after we opened it and peeled it apart, or threw some cheese on it to serve to the next customer ordering a Turkey bragel. The havarti and cream cheese bragel that I did receive was cold- cold bagel, cheese, and cream cheese, even though they had a good 30 minutes to remake it correctly while we waited in line. Though this location is closest to my home it got to a point I'd only use this location when I was desperate. Not anymore though. If rather get a headache from withdrawals. Most of the baristas have the personality of a turnip. Snooty, as if they hate being there. (Minus a couple kind girls) It's pretty slow-maybe understaffed..or they don't care. It's one of two Biggby in NWO that doesn't take phone coupons( get with the times) so I've decided if I have to go local I'll go to the enemy..or make it at home. I was on my way to an appointment, my mom was with me and we went to drive through window. 2 cars ahead first car was waiting blocking us all. 30 minute wait received order wrong. Asked to fix stating we had little time at this point waited too long already, and again brought back wrong thing, plus both drinks cold(not ordered that way).. Now who waits over 30 minutes for cold coffee wrongly made? Also, we dealt with 3 different people. This is so not the Biggby I love. read more

This isn't a review of the coffee itself, but a review of the customer service and policies. Short version: If you have a digital coupon, make sure you print it or they won't accept it at this Biggby location and it will be a wasted trip. Super long version: 1. The wait at the drive through was very long. 2. It wasn't until I had waited the long wait to place my order, and then finally got to the window to pay, that I saw a sign that only printed coupons are accepted at this location. 3. I acknowledged to the cashier when she came to the window that I just saw the sign but that I only had the coupon in digital format from my email. She reaffirmed that they do only accept printed coupons. So I made the point that the sign would be more helpful at the drive through when customers are about to place an order. She stated that there are signs at this payment window and the door. I think my point completely went over her head. If I'm in my car at the drive through, a sign on the door won't help me and it's just frustrating to wait to order, place an order, and not find out about the coupon policy until the payment window. If this is the policy and they refuse to put a sign at the drive through menu, and I'm sure it's not the first time a customer has encountered this, then it's probably a good idea for cashiers to at least warn customers when they place an order and indicate that they have a coupon. I also explained that I've never had a problem at other locations with showing the coupon in digital format. She stated that they're not supposed to accept them and it's written on the coupon. I will admit that I have never looked at the fine print to realize that the coupons that come via email indicate that they must be printed out. So that's on me. There's a QR code on it and in this day and age, many shops accept digital coupons and Starbucks even has an app that can be used for payment. That's why I never even thought about it. I have a Biggby loyalty card, but I'm beginning to be disappointed with Biggby, or at the very least this particular location. Overall, for Biggby to send out coupons via a digital format but then expect customers to print them out, isn't green for the environment, is a bit outdated and probably isn't very smart business. My guess is that the two super size drinks I had ordered had already been made or at least in progress. So when I said no thank you to purchasing both of them because my coupon wouldn't be accepted digitally and I was now just annoyed, well, that was probably wasted product. It's bizarre to turn away a customer over this but I truly do understand that if its policy, then that's policy. I'm not saying that they should have just accepted my coupon even if the fine print "clearly" stated it needed to be printed. I'm saying that I think Biggby needs to get with the program in this digital age though. If I'm out and about and see an email pop up with a coupon, I'm not driving all the way home to print it and then driving all the way back to use it. I saw a coupon in my inbox on my smartphone and it succeeded in getting me to go to their store but it failed in ultimately securing my business. Even though I understand that policy is policy, I probably won't be supporting this location any longer because it's just plain inconvenient. read more

They have the best hot chocolate. And I love their iced chai tea. They are always friendly and have great service!

One question, can one live on hot chocolate alone? Because let me just say they have the best ever... Ever.

Biggby is a staple of northwest Ohio. I've never experienced one this bad. I just sat in the drive-through for 15 minutes, five of that in front of the window without even being acknowledged by the staff. It took them 10 minutes to service the two cars in front of me. I had to just drive off because they were going to make me late for work. Are used to go here pretty regularly a few years ago. I have no idea what happened to this place. In any case, they were not that busy and this should not have been this hard read more

I have been going to this Biggby for years, as it's only 5 minutes from my house. I would always read the negative feedback and not understand what people were talking about. Today, however, I am in complete agreement that this is the worst Biggby in the Toledo area. After waiting in a drive through line for 15 minutes and still not ordering, I decided to reverse my car out of the line and go inside. I figured they must be pretty busy to have not had the line move for so long. The inside was completely empty. Furthermore, they had 3 workers who were just standing around doing absolutely nothing and one lady running around frantically. I placed my order and the employee looked annoyed at me because she was getting off work shortly after I ordered. She was rude and the entire service was absolutely horrible. They also had no milk/creamer, stirs, or sleeves out. But to ask them for this just seemed like too much of a hassle. Although I have been a loyal customer for maybe 5+ years, I will never be returning here again. Word of advice to staff or management reading this, hire more employees that are enthusiastic or hard working about their job so you guys don't face the same exact complaint year after year. read more

This Biggby is closest to my house and I prefer Biggby over other drive thru coffee shops. But this location has seriously gone down hill. I just read the other reviews before posting mine and they are all from a year or so ago... which means this has been an issue for quite a while! The service is incredibly slow, even when you're the only one there! I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese on the side and got a warm, not toasted, bagel with a tiny bit of cream cheese already on the bagel. The muffin my husband ordered was frozen and his coffee tasted stale. Very disappointed. Charlie's building just got bought by Dunkin Donuts and this Biggby is going to lose a LOT of business once it opens if something doesn't change. read more

Fast, friendly service! The employees were attentive, quick, and friendly. I would stop by again the next time I am in the area. I didn't sit and stay, but the cafe was spacious and pleasant. Plenty of parking, and they do also have a drive-through. read more

I have given this location several chances after several mistakes, long waits and rudeness. Today I ordered a cinnamon spice tea latte. I received a cinnamon spice tea, boiling hot, with no latte. I think I am done giving chances. I think they are in need of new management. read more

this is honestly the worst place i've ever been and i feel like the store should just shut down. the management is never there, and they treat their normal staff horrible. management only works mornings and never weekends or closing shifts, then leaves the other employees severely understaffed and have them closing by themselves. that's a safety risk since they don't even have any lights outside, and from what i can tell it's majority women working there so that's really messed up to do them like that. i feel like i can't count on 1 hand the amount of times i actually see the manager there, kinda makes me wonder why they have the position if they are barely even there. and a lot of the regular customers know that the management staff doesn't like to work certain days because that's their "drinking days"...seems unprofessional. i just feel bad for the actual barista staff because i can tell they work really hard and aren't getting treated right under the conditions. the product is good but they really need to clean house the management. read more
