I can see the reason for the hype especially if I'm a drunk college student. The employee was friendly and offered an opinion when I asked for one which I appreciated. The shop definitely has a vibe and a charm that has collected over the last 50 years.

Honestly felt like I was back in New York. Everything was fresh, balanced, and just done right. I also grabbed an iced cold brew and it was exactly what I needed to start the morning. No ambiance, It's definitely more of a grab-and-go kind of spot, but they do have a standing bar if you want to stay and eat without heading back to your car. Nice option if you've got a few minutes. The staff were hustling the whole time, keeping up with both in-person and online orders, which was impressive to watch. Parking is pretty manageable with paid street parking and nearby public lots. If you're in OTR and want a solid breakfast bagel, this place is worth the stop.
