The cole slaw was pretty good but needed a little something in my opinion. The beans were the best. This place is definition of a hole in the wall. The brisket was good- sausage was fine- nothing special per say but good. The inside is tiny for ordering but they do have a pickle area which is nice with jalepenos, onions, two types of pickles and free beans. The staff was friendly. I don't recommend the corn bread muffins- the ones we got were severely burnt. I'm sure they would have been tasty if they were cooked properly but they fell apart in my hand because they were overcooked and dry. Seating is only outside but it's covered. We stopped by on a whim based on a Facebook post. It's a very small older dusty building with limited seating and no restroom. They do not take cards. You have to pay cash or Zelle. They will sell out and close without notice. But we lucked out. We didn't know that most people call ahead and preferably a day or two ahead. We did have to wait about 45 minutes for our food. We were glad they hadn't already sold out. But it was quite the foodventure. Based on the aforementioned Facebook post, I ordered the Mr Big loaded baked potato. It has ham and brisket, cheese, sour cream, and bbq sauce. It came in an open faced to go container because there was no way it was closing. I had to dig down through several inches of meat just to reach the actual potato. I had to give some to my husband just to be able to close it to take home. Then I had to ask for a piece of tape. Well worth the price. My husband got the strawberry lemonade. Too sweet for me. He liked it. But it is served in a large mason jar which you get to keep. It had real strawberries in it. She even came and refilled it when it was about half gone. He got the mix plate. You can choose one or two or three meats. He got brisket and hot links. Large portions of meat. You don't get to choose the sides. You get potato salad and baked beans. He was very pleased with the amount of food. If you come expecting too much as far as atmosphere you might be disappointed. But if you want great food and a lot of it then call them up and bring your cash.
