We contracted Signworks in October for overhead exterior signage and paid over $7,000 in deposit…read morefee's (50% of the total project cost) as required. Four months later, the permit process has still not been properly submitted and the project has not moved forward. During this time, the company was sold to new ownership and we were not notified of the transition. Their office location closed and their main phone number was disconnected, which initially led us to believe the company had shut down after collecting our deposit. After considerable effort, I was able to track down a number for one of their project managers (Doug), who was helpful and put me in touch with the new owner. The new owner was apologetic for the delay and assured us the permits would be submitted last week. Since then, I have followed up three separate times and have not received confirmation that the permits have been submitted or any clear update on next steps. For any business, exterior signage is critical for visibility. A four-month delay after a $7,000 deposit, combined with nonexistent communication, has been extremely frustrating. I genuinely hope to update this review with a positive follow-up stating that the project was completed and commitments were honored. I would gladly revise this review if the situation is resolved promptly. At this time, however, we are still waiting for meaningful progress.

As a retired VP Marketing and co-founder of a manufacturing tech company inside the bio- Pharma…read morespace, I have intersected many times over the years with various printing companies - bringing various size jobs. My usual printer couldn't help me with a last-minute minute medium scale job. I needed documents printed to support a retreat I'd designed for that weekend. Yes, there were last-minute changes ... My usual printer was moving its presses that very day. Ouch, where to go? Who could I trust to do this well - at the drop of a hat ? I made a few phone inquiries to local printers and ran my typical front-end questions to see if they were smart, responsive, and 'got' how to work with a skilled first time customer - with a last-minute problem. ARC hit it out of the ballpark. Linda Rico, staffing the front office, had answers to every one of my questions. Plus, she had space to squeeze that job over the next three hours. Also, she laid out an intelligent process for the docs to arrive, be checked, confirmed to me that all is well - and immediately go to press. Literally three minutes after sending my PDFs, I had a reply from the project manager saying everything was a go. Then, I received an email ONE HOUR ahead of time saying the job was already done and I could come pick it up. ARC has greatly impressed me. They will be getting more of my work in future. You should consider choosing ARC - for your next printing job.

The gentleman who came seemed great, but he didn't send me a quote. One week later, I hadn't heard anything from them. After calling to ask if I could get my quote, the Owner (I believe) told me that they may "take a pass," on our projects. When I asked why, she said they "do this all of the time." She sent a follow-up email blaming it on their schedule and workload, but I had not even given them a delivery schedule. It was a super disappopinting experience. My advice - if you plan on getting a quote from them for a commercial project, get quotes from competitors as well. Be aware that this company evidently chooses to "take a pass" on projects often.
