Stained towel! This is just one! There are more. Used my own.

Dirty. What a disappointment. The website is so misleading. I'm not staying the second night. This place could be so much fun. 45 mins to check in. Did I say dirty! If COVID were a motel this would be it! BBB will be receiving a complaint along with lots of pictures.

We are not pretentious people...don't do it! Embarrassed we stayed the night there. Can't rate zero. The smell...we wouldn't even touch the floor with socks on. Only people leaving good reviews about this place are the ones who obviously live there. Would have been better to be sleeping in the woods in Bigfoot's nest.

This is where you can usually find me.. LOL

Love this place!! The new staff is so much nicer & makes you feel welcome. Last time I was here, it was dingy & dirty. The improvements made to this Motel are quite noticeable. It's welcoming & fits the essence of the area. Down to earth. Even the guests who stay here are friendly & Respectful to one another, it's just a great vibe. The Managers bend over backwards & truly aim to please. They want you to leave feeling like you had a great stay there. Very rare. I especially love the touch of the little table & chairs outside of the rooms. I'm not the type of person who wants to be stuck in a room watching tv so this is perfect. Too bad they filled in the pool, maybe they will put a jacuzzi instead.

The Bigfoot cage.

After a very long day of driving some of Northern California's more challenging roads, we were all very happy to roll up the Bigfoot Motel. We'd called to say we were running late and arrived just as the lighted sign was shut off (after 11pm), but the lady behind the desk was kind enough to come back out to sign us into our rooms. The overall feel of the rooms is a little rustic, but as promised the heaters work incredibly well and we were all quite toasty and happy for the night. Willow Creek itself is a neat little town with a great deal of Bigfoot heritage. More than once I expected the theme from Twin Peaks to start playing as the clouds skirted through the trees. We were all happy with the accommodations and the little coffee shop around the corner (next to the NAPA auto parts store) was also quite good!

It was nice and cozy, just what we needed after a long drive. Beds were nice, kids loved the big foot cage outside, super cute.

I have been coming to Trinity Alps Resort for 46 years. I have never missed a summer in my entire…read morelife and don't plan on ever missing! It is truly a step back in time to a simple way of life. You are unplugged (Which I LOVE!). People have their heads up vs down in their phones. Many of the guests are some of my most cherished friendships. They are truly family! It is a place unlike anywhere else I have been. It is rustic for sure but that is part of the charm. Bingo on the store porch two nights a week. Nightly ice cream cones (you are on vacation so live it up!), nightly cocktails, card and board games. Everyone watches out for each other and other kids. If you see a kid who needs help, you help them. Some of my favorite memories are walking home from the swimming hole after a relaxing afternoon of floating and swimming and passing a cabin of friends. They invite you over for an appetizer or drink and you take a seat and stay for awhile. Why? Because it is fun and you have nowhere else you need to be! I love the place! So does everyone else that I know! It is as relaxing as it gets!

I will say it's relaxing and nice to hear the Stuart Fork River running through the resort in the morning and you can't beat the watching the stars on a clear night. I do miss the trail rides they had. It's great to catch up with the same people every year and see the additions to their families and meet new people that were lucky enough to get a cabin. Great place to unplug.
