Whenever I have a commute through Shelton, I stop by Big Foot Java! The staff is friendly and makes my drinks exactly to my liking. I typically get a London Fog (Earl Grey Latte) with steamed soy milk and 2 pumps of vanilla. I swear this beverage gives me jolly life points! The area at this location is pleasant and wait time has been minimal every time I go, usually 1 other car in front of me. Stopped by here on my way home from Walmart I'm from out of town and decided to give this coffee shop a try. The Baristas were short with me and not very friendly I could over hear them talking about how the last customer did not tip. I asked for 2 Carmel big trains and they informed me that they did not have big train powders. Ok no problem she made something similar. Then I asked her for 2 ice waters for my kids she said yes but I would have to pay for the cups a 1.20 per cup ! WOW no thank you, when I am paying 12$ for coffee I don't think I should have to pay 1.20 for a cup of water. This will be my first and last visit here! read more

The coffee has always been good, but in the multiple times I've come here, the service has been slower than one may expect. With that being said, I'm not a barista so I cant really say how long something should/shouldn't take in this field, I'm just complaining from experience with other coffee stands. As well, I've experienced this kinda crazy thing where the last 3 times I've been in, the baristas, who were different each time, we're talking badly about their coworkers that weren't there. It's kinda weird, I don't think they know how loud they're talking or that we can hear them but it's definitely a funky atmosphere to hang in while waiting for my order. Maybe just keep your opinions to yourself while you're working on an order with customers at the window. Let me say that after years of being a Starbucks Gold cardholder and then moving out to Shelton from Gig Harbor I was kind of nervous to try a new coffee place. I drink a lot of coffee and have tried many in the area and am very selective about what we brew in home. I may be a coffee snob, but really who isn't? There is a difference in coffee depending who is working. We have tried several things off the menu hot and cold, all coffee items. I wanted to try something new and Ashleigh was brilliant enough to introduce me to the black and white latte, which consists of dark chocolate and white chocolate. Ashleigh and Jessica make our coffee perfect every, single time. Unfortunately, some of the other girls burn the shots so we have been known to drive around the stand to see who is working and purposely go on certain days. They are sweethearts and it is always pleasant to see them while getting a beverage for the road. read more

We stopped here twice, once early in the morning for the "wake me up" coffee, and once a little later for a treat for everyone. The first trip was super quick through, service was good. The second trip took a little longer, it was definitely a bit of a wait (the truck behind us gave up and drove off). I get turnover is rapid in these places but maybe it wouldn't be so bad if these girls were properly trained. I never drink coffee but was in the mood for something warm and not too strong. I asked the teenage girl and she had a little attitude and said she only drinks stuff with white chocolate and I specifically asked for no whites chocolate so she literally couldn't help me choose. I waited 5 min for the other girl to be done with someone else and even then it was hard to decide. I finally went online and looked at Other brand coffees to get a sense of what I wanted. I love that information is at our fingertips these days but I customer service shouldn't be a lost art. First trip I waited behind a car, that was already at the window, for over 10 minutes. When I got to the window the "barista" says,"sorry,they were waiting for another order to come in from a text". Wth,have your order ready when you get there and shame on the employee for not suggesting they come back when they have their orders..... Second time, wait 10 minutes while BOTH employees chat with car in front,when I get up to the window,the employee is rude as if me being there is an annoyance to her. Yep,I tried a 3rd time.....waiting behind car at window,approx 5 minutes,see BOTH employees at the window laughing with car in front....I backup and pull out of the line,go to Taco Bell drive through,spend a 1.50 on a coffee, pull out and the car and employees are still in same position as when I pulled out of the line. POOR customer service....NEVER spending a dime there again. I would give 0 stars if I could read more

Some of their frozen drinks taste great, but they almost always miss hear or otherwise screw up the order. No whipped cream, asked for a fancy drink and ended up with a simple frozen latte. Things that are easy to not notice until you've driven off and are then just disappointed. There are better cute and local coffee stands. read more

I always come here and their blended drinks are great! I'm a barista,, so not all coffee stands are to my standards since I'm so picky.. Today, I got a white chocolate mocha, pretty simple drink) and the barista was very short with me. She didnt ask me how many shots I wanted, what size, or if it was hot or iced. The shots were burnt, which leaves a weird taste in your mouth after drinking and when I told her it was hot, I got it back at a kids temperature (maybe 110°-120°) I was not impressed today. read more

I'm really disappointed by the coffee I got. I asked for a 16oz half sweet mocha and what I received tasted like hot chocolate. I like my coffee strong so I ask for half the sweetness(syrup) but I couldn't e en taste the coffee at all. I'm not sure if the person making the coffee was new or if they are trained to put that little espresso in the mix, but it was undrinkable to me and a huge waste of money. This is my all time favorite place to get coffee. A big SHOUT OUT TO MONTANA, KAYLA AnD HANNA(hope I got spelling close) these three are the far best baristas around . They make the best coffee ever. This is a chain coffee place. Well you don't expect outstanding you do expect your drink to be made properly. This was not the case here shots were burned and the drink I ordered was not provided well I'm not sure what it is actually got I know it is not what I ordered.
