Brisket, Collard Greens, Mac and cheese, corn bread.
Bill L.

This is one place you absolutely have to come and eat! The pride they put into the food shows in the flavor. The ribs, brisket, and burnt ends are spot on every time, not to mention the flavor of the home made bbq sauces they have. Not once have I been disappointed with anything on the menu. The owner is great and the first face you see when you walk in and you won't meet a nicer guy. Service is excellent and very friendly no matter the time of day or how busy they are. The inside is a cool little corner spot with some booths for seating and it's nice and clean. You can see them preparing your food which is always a plus. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would.

The food, service and Motown! The vibe was like my grandmama (Ms. Katie Mae) 's kitchen soul in the BBQ!

Everything was great. More than enough food per order. We tried ribs, brisket and smoked turkey. We will be ordering again.

The meat was old and dry, place was filthy. I could even see rat droppings against the walk.

If you're driving upstate from NJ or you're in the area, you have to stop at Spiedie and Rib Pit…read more It's the best restaurant in the area! I had no expectations when I came here besides my motivation to eat because I was starving. When you enter the restaurant, you can order right away. To the left they have a bunch of tables. There are 2 or 3 benches outside if you wanted to sit outside. You just have to go all round through the front door to get there. Let's talk about the chicken tenders - I thought I was getting some regular diner kids menu quality nuggets but they were elite! They were soo crispy and super tender on the inside. The chicken was full of flavor. The best chicken tenders I've had in a while. I normally don't order these so I was so happy that I did! Now for the steak sandwich- I'm not sure what I was expecting but it was not this- a whole piece of meat in bread. I feel like it's a great value compared to other steak sandwiches I've had before. The meat itself plus the sauce on it made it delicious. There were no rough parts, everything was excellent. It was a big sandwich so my partner and I split it, or else I would not have been able to eat it on my own.

It was one of my favorite sandwich. Slices of rib eye sautéed with pepper and onion. We opt for no cheese cause of allergies, but the sandwich was very juicy. No need any condiments. They have two locations. This one is farther north about 15 mins away from Binghamton University but closer to Suny Broome. Though there is a closer location to Binghamton. I heard that the rib eye sandwich is only available in the other location. Def worth the drive up. We also ordered the onion rings and chicken nuggets. But the star was the rib eye sandwich. Will beback very soon.

Well, it finally happened on a return trip from NC. Parked the RV and went in for a half rack of ribs (they were out of brisket) and slaw, baked beans, and german potato salad. Great meal with coca-cola and root beer. Saturday night music by a guy and a gal singing with a guitar, really nice ambiance, country setting and a cool evening night. There was a wedding group at the barn. Visited the barn the next morning and got an informative overview from the owner, Mary Beth, and a quick hello from her husband. Will definitely be back for more BBQ.

Location is pretty hidden, I was not sure the map has gave us a correct location 1 second before we got there. Although it's modest outside, but the interior is very cool. It's all mid 60s vibe with Elvis's song playing. The waitress were very nice to us and suggested several options and we decided to go with the meat samplers. Should I say the top bbq ever??!! Brisket was so moist and tender. Smoked chicken wings are so yummy! Our family loved everything in that sampler and we ordered more brisket for the road!!! If we're back to this area, will stop by again!!!

We came towards the end of the lunch rush (1-2PM?) and were seated immediately. The ambiance is hip and buzzy, with lots of colorful decor. The menu had some very tempting options, even for vegetarians. We started with the buffalo brussel sprouts, a stroke of genius. I'd never thought about dousing this tasty veggie in hot sauce and blue cheese, but it makes sense. This was a very tasty app, and the sprouts were roasted perfectly with crispy outer skins which provided the crunch needed for a good buffalo dish. The special that day was some kind of french dip sandwich which one of my dining companions got. Another one got a cajun catfish sandwich and graciously offered me a bite. It was flavorful. For my main, I got the spring roll bowl and decided to add tofu. It had noodles, peanuts, a sweet thai chili sauce, and lots of veggies. It was MASSIVE. Prices are a little high but the portions definitely made it worth it. I could have taken half home as leftovers if I'd wanted. The restaurant also has a coffee bar which we decided last minute to partake in instead of venturing out into the rain to find a different cafe. This was such a convenient option because we didn't have to fight to find parking or brave the weather to go to a second location. I did a pistachio latte. Someone else at my table got a Mexican hot chocolate. I treated myself to the homemade whipped cream. The coffee hit the spot. Throughout the whole experience the staff was wonderful. Our food came out quickly, and the servers were very friendly and joking with us. I'd come back if I was in the area.

At no time within that hour did anyone come over and acknowledge the fact that it was taking over an hour to get our food. When I finally asked to see a manager, the host responded with "well. the manager is really busy, but I'll see if she has time to talk to you." When the manager did come over, I was the one who had to suggest that maybe she do something for our table. She ultimately comped our drinks. Really not worth the hype. I don't understand why everyone says this place is so great.

I…read morehighly recommend it; any critique i seem to give here is after the fact that this is a Roadside locally cooked bbq stand which is almost an automatic 5 stars generally. Anyway, I got a pulled pork sub and the pulled chicken sub. I know they seem like similar orders but I need to be clear that the pork is worth the extra money. The chicken is good, the sauce is the same (I think) but the texture of the pork is just that much better. Besides, i got better smoke flavor in the pork than in the chicken. This may have been noise. The sandwich itself was a great size either way. Lots of meat and maybe about 10 inches of sandwich; more than enough for a meal. my only possible complaint is I like a harder crust roll for a sub for added texture. Still, great sandwich. They have plenty of sides and some really interesting orders. ice cream nachos for instance wherein the nachos are waffle cone chips? fantastic idea. There's plenty of ice cream variety I haven't tried. I'd love to go back for that but so far I've only been here for work lunch. Pulled pork sub is already too decedent to justify for work lunch so ice cream? no way. Bring cash, discount for cash.

Y'all, they moved to Hallstead…read more Oh. My. Goodness. I cannot sing enough praises for this brewery. I have found, I think, only two of their beers that I wasn't keen on. The beers are always very well balanced, always gentle with a very distinct flavor (if you can imagine that), and always served with a smile. Try the Belgian Peach, if they have it. Or the midnight lager, which is a similar darkness to a Guinness, but you don't have to chew it. The (forgive me, I've forgotten what they named it) jalapeño beer is most definitely worth your time, if you're into that slight burn in your throat and belly. I've heard they to some excellent hard seltzers, too, but I'm always too excited to try the new beers to actually drink any seltzer. And when you're ready to eat, 2 Dogz has partnered with a BBQ joint worthy of being served with the best brewery in the area: Red Rock. Definitely try out their chicken, it will change your life (especially after a few of those midnight lagers). The staff adores dogs, so bonus points! There's a treat jar behind the bar, and they will absolutely coo over your pooch and bribe them with treats. If you're passing through or in the area and trying to find something interesting to put in your mouth, definitely try 2 Dogz. They're worth every penny.
