This is my new shopping spot for groceries since the price of them has gotten out of control! Stop…read moreand Shop's prices are SO outrageous and their fruit and produce has been horrible! I purchased all my fruit from Aldi's last week and NOTHING has gotten moldy- which typically happens when I buy fruit from stop and shop- within a day or two! So A+ for fruit and produce! They have a really good dairy section and a lot of good frozen items. My only issue would be that they don't have everything! I usually shop for specific snacks for my eight-year-old son and they often don't carry a lot of the snacks that he enjoys! However, with that being said, their prices are amazing! I bought 6-8 items the other day and it was literally under $30!!! If I had purchased that from stop and shop it would have been- no lie- $50-$75! And with the price of groceries just going up and up- I can't afford to spend that much & then in 2 days half of the fruit needs to be thrown out bc of mold! At Aldi's everything I have purchased has been very high quality- especially a lot of the cheeses they carry! Overall they have a GOOD selection of items - but a lot of my usuals they don't carry! Which includes certain cereals like Frosted Flakes, Honey Nut Cheerios and cinnamon toast crunch. If you don't mind non-name brand- they have a ton of substitutions or equivalents- so that's a plus. Another very minor issue- I have when I shop here- is you need a quarter to use a carriage and I always forget change and they don't do bags- so bring your own! Another occasional issue is the lines. It seems like they don't have enough cashiers or maybe I only shop during their "peak" busy times but I have walked in- gotten a few items and have had to leave because the line was just long and taking forever. So if you plan on shopping here- I would try to come when it's not too busy! Overall the service is always consistently good and cashiers are friendly. The store itself is ALWAYS near and tidy- unlike other similar retailers which are just a mess! Side note: They have machines so you can recycle bottles/cans/etc. which is also very convenient! !

There is a seating area within the market where you can eat your tacos. The area where you order food is functional, but completely lacking in aesthetics. The tacos were terrific though. I ordered a Bistec, a Pastor and a Chorizo. The meats were very good, especially the Pastor and the Chorizo. The tortillas were very good. And the homemade red and green sauces were great. The taco side of La Mexicana is a great place worth exploring. The Market side was cool too. You can basically buy better versions of most Mexican foods you would buy in a grocery store. Terrific tostada shells. Very good queso fresco. Very good condiments. I love exploring stores like that. Five Stars

Go into the store looking for Tylenol. Ask if they have a card minimum and the masked old lady after huffing and puffing tells me yes but if I choose debit it will cost her less. I was cool with purchasing something else cause I know how that goes. I said since it costs you a fee I'll go grab some drinks. I go to the back cooler and an older gentleman comes out of the stock room. He, WITHOUT A MASK ON and gets as close as he possibly could to me. I grab my drinks, go back up to the counter grab my Tylenol and unpleasantly check out with the old lady. I will say it was an added touch for the unmasked many to start wiping the door handles after I left. But man they really need to practice what they preach and if he's going to do that provide some ample space. I also was displeased with the drink selection, it was limited, the store is dirty besides the clean door handles and smells weird.

The ice cream menu looks so impressive, but I was just too full The walk up, ordering, was simple. I was greeted warmly, and I ordered the small plate of whole belly clams, which included a side of coleslaw french fries and a roll. My financial guy ordered the scallops with french fries coleslaw, and accompanied roll. I ordered a Coca-Cola and he ordered an iced tea The only drawbacks... coleslaw tasted like salt without any flavor; the french fries were good fresh cut, but weren't salted, and the store-bought roll was not needed. I loved the fried clams. They were whole bellies, lightly breaded, seasoned well, and lightly fried. The bill without tip was $58 and change, which I thought was really pricey for a little drive-in restaurant This was an overall good experience. I drove over an hour and a half to meet my financial advisor for a quick dinner and discussion, not sure I'd return, but it was a good experience.
