All the others wanted more money to replace the engine and were only offering used engines with over 100,000 miles on them. Jacob gave me a firm price on a new engine with a fantastic 3 year 100,000 mile nationwide warranty. His price on a new engine was LOWER than the other places wanted for putting in an old, used engine. Jacob and his crew completed the work in a timely fashion and there were no extra or hidden charges; everything was up front and easy to understand. Instead, he took it upon himself to cut out and steal BOTH of my catalytic converters without my knowledge or consent. Rather than installing proper replacement converters, he welded illegal straight piping in their place, which violates federal and state emissions laws. To make matters worse, during this hack job, he severely damaged my vehicle's oxygen sensors and electrical wiring. This unauthorized work caused immediate mechanical and sensor failure in my car. When I took my vehicle to another professional mechanic to find out why it was running so poorly, I was shocked to learn that both converters had been completely removed and replaced with straight pipe, causing extensive overall damage. Ronnie took my money, stole my parts, damaged my car, and left me with thousands of dollars in repair bills to fix what he ruined. He has continuously refused to refund my money or pay for the massive damage he caused. I am still actively fighting to get my money back. Save yourself the stress, money, and damage to your vehicle--stay far away from this shop.
