I'm new to the area and have gone here twice. I've met some nice people and the park appears to be well kept. You will never be able to completely avoid stupid dog owners, but I've had good luck so far. I would recommend parking near the main gate entrance to keep an eye on your car. We are in the city after all.

Stepping into Bumble's Backyard feels like joining a club you didn't even know you (or your dog!)…read moreneeded. Lauryn and Evan pour their hearts into this place, and it shows in all the little things. The Barktenders in bright vests greet you and your dog by name, and you can hear them on the radios calling out each pup's arrival and departure, with a secure double gate (both of which have been reinforced, with an added audio signal when the gate is opened) adding peace of mind at the entrance. They don't just stand on the sidelines; they're in the park interacting with the dogs, keeping them engaged and helping redirect energy when play gets a bit too hyped. If a dog needs a break, they're moved to a smaller enclosed area to reset and calm down with a Barktender sitting right next to them. The park itself is spotless and thoughtfully set up: faux grass so no one goes home muddy, play areas free from poop thanks to constant cleanup and respectful members, fresh water always available, a long leash wall right when you walk in, and seating placed so you have clear sight lines to your dog from every angle. There are trash and compost bins exactly where you expect them, plus a semi-enclosed heated area so humans can warm up while the dogs keep running. Every visit wraps up with a complimentary pup cup, and yes--your dog will quickly figure out that this is part of the Bumble's ritual. On top of the basics, Bumble's goes all in on community: dog birthday parties, person-and-pup yoga, book clubs, "Fetch Night," and OSU Buckeye "tailgate" events make it easy to stick around and actually enjoy being there. What really sold me was our first visit. Before we entered the main park, a Barktender invited us into a smaller area for temperament testing and spent about 10 minutes walking me through how everything works--where the bags, trash cans, and hoses are, and how the community rules keep the park friendly, safe, and incredibly clean. It genuinely feels like a responsible, caring community built for dog lovers who expect more. We keep coming back because Lauryn, Evan, and the whole Bumble's team make us feel like we're part of something special (more than anyone I've ever met - they truly care about dogs) --and that "something" is really, really good.

So, I hopped on Yelp and started looking around and decided to check this park out. Such a good choice! I really want to highlight that there is so much space here, all fenced in, and it is so open and vast. It is really nice. This has to be the dog park with the most space we have been to in the Columbus area. It has both a large and small dog section and there were only 10-15 dogs. This visit there was a batch of larger, uncontrolled dogs in the small dog section. We ended up just going to the larger dog section since it didn't look safe, and the larger space was perfect. Can't wait to take our girl back to this location. Downside is that there is not any shade and I would suggest a blanket to relax on.

It's located at Three Creeks Metro Park near Groveport. If you go the first time know it's located in the northern area of it. This is one of the biggest in the system so it may be hard to know exactly which roads to use. It's located off Watkins Road at the bend. There's also a picnic area nearby. I like Three Creeks Dog Park because it's so big. It's almost never busy and there's plenty of room. The park could use some more shade.

There is a double gated pass through at each of the two areas. Poop bags and trash cans are available on site. Since both areas are fenced in, dogs can run freely. Oatie loves chasing other dogs and being chased over grassy hilly areas. GODOWN dog park is a 5 minute drive from my daughter's townhouse complex so when visiting I take Oatie to the park often. It's a pretty popular dog park. We've never been here when there weren't dogs for our dog to play with. (Unlike some of the other parks we've visited in the Columbus area.) There's a spigot near the entrances beside the portajohn. Great for a quick rinse off of a muddy dog or for filling up the communal water jugs that you find on both sides of the dog parks.

One of our dogs does great with other people but not so hot with other dogs. Because of this she never gets to go to a dog park. This was her first time being able to run free in a larger than yard size area and she loved it! It has a nice shelter house to keep you out of the sun. The pond edges are shallow enough the dogs can wade in and you can stand in the water as well. You bring your own poop bags and chairs and toys but there were lots of balls scattered around. I highly recommend!!

I have two girls and one is dog reactive and the other has a noisy play style so traditional dog parks aren't an option for us. Mutt's is a private dog park that you pay for by the hour to have the entire place to yourself. I couldn't believe it when I heard it! It is $10/hr per dog and you have the entire place to yourself. There's a pond, a paddle boat, a little shelter area for shade, an agility course, a human bathroom (porta pot), and all the space needed to run your dog ragged. The park owner is quick to respond when booking and always has poop bags, water, and toys for the pups. We always take our own, but it's nice to know he has some as well. You can book longer than an hour at a time, but our girls go hard quick so an hour is sufficient. The only down side is that we live in downtown Columbus and it's on the north side of Delaware so it's about 45 mins one way. But it really is worth it!

Near the parking area are the tennis courts and what looks like the pool area beyond that (closed this time of year - November - of course). If you head past the greenspace, you will find a very nice shelterhouse with restrooms (open during warmer parts of the year) and a lot of picnic tables, the playground, and the trailheads to stroll through the forest. The playground has limited weekday hours, as described on plentiful signage around it. Weekend hours were 8 am to dark right now. It offers a fenced-in area for the youngest kids with a climbing structure, a little house, and the like. The larger play area offers slides, climbing options, monkey bars, a moving balance beam, bridges, and more. There are also baby swings available. If you head into the woods, you will find great views of Alum Creek, which runs along the western side of the park. There's a nice boardwalk that takes you right down the hill up towards it to check it out and see any wildlife that might be nearby. The trees are overwhelmingly a bright yellow right now, which was a perfect pick-me-up on a cloudy day. There are benches and picnic tables also available near the woods and trailheads.
