This place used to be great. Low prices, good assortment of products and friendly reliable staff. Now it must be under new ownership or management and they could care less about their products or staff or long-term customers. Prices on things I buy regularly have doubled and now are more expensive than what I can pay at Home Depot or Amazon.com with shipping! Thinking about placing a special order there? Forget about it. They will never call you to say your order came in. They will put it on the shelf and sell your specially ordered items to any walk-ins. I miss the people that used to run the place. I shopped there today for the LAST time. Never again. Not worth it. I imagine this store will soon go under and become another gas station convenience store. There are not many Nurseries in the area besides the box stores and I prefer to shop at a place like this one. They have a very large selections of trees and plants along with a full variety of potting soils, fertilizers and gardening accessories. I like the fact that they grow a lot of their own plants and veggies from seed onsite. Extremely helpful staff and it doesn't look it from the road but the place is ginormous. The prices seemed in line and they had a lot of items on sale this looks like it may be my new plant store. I recommend you try them out. read more

The staff was pleasant, but a bit condescending, as if they knew everything, but what really is a game changer for me is that they are overpriced, way overpriced. Since Big Value Garden Center had been in business for many years, i suspected that it probably was a good business. And I was correct! The staff was knowledgeable and helped me with my choices. Our experience with their sprinkler service has been EXCEPTIONAL from the installation of our system to it's flawless function. We visited here today with our community Garden Club and couldn't have been treated any better. Corey gave us a tour and explanation of the services they provide at the garden center. Some members brought plants along and staff were able to identify if the plant needed a particular fertilizer or treatment. Prices are reasonable, gift shop had great pottery, chimes, outdoor wall hangings etc. each of us were given a gift bag of garden related items. We will definitely be back. Thank you! read more

I wish I knew about this place before I bought most of my plants and supplies from the larger commercial stores like Home Depot and Lowes. Big Value Garden staff are fantastic, knowledgeable about the plants they are selling and extremely helpful. The quality of their plants, flowers and shrubs cannot be matched! They also have garden statues, stones, decorative pieces to add a special touch to your garden or pool. I'm so happy to have a main garden center to go to from now on! read more
