The staff is never the same but if you buy plants or soil from this place for your balcony in Daytona, you will be inundated with ants and gnats. They lie, and it's not a good place. Everything I ever bought from them turned out to be a disgrace. They don't even deserve one star. It's a horrible place. read more

Great people, great plants, great prices! I like coming here just to look at their huge pitcher plants

Love this place. Beautiful plants. I've gone all over irmond and Daytona area looking for plants. By far they are the best plave to get plants. Also helped me decide what plants go best with each other. So helpful. Loading plants too! read more

There are not many Nurseries in the area besides the box stores and I prefer to shop at a place like this one. They have a very large selections of trees and plants along with a full variety of potting soils, fertilizers and gardening accessories. I like the fact that they grow a lot of their own plants and veggies from seed onsite. Extremely helpful staff and it doesn't look it from the road but the place is ginormous. The prices seemed in line and they had a lot of items on sale this looks like it may be my new plant store. I recommend you try them out. read more

This place used to be great. Low prices, good assortment of products and friendly reliable staff. Now it must be under new ownership or management and they could care less about their products or staff or long-term customers. Prices on things I buy regularly have doubled and now are more expensive than what I can pay at Home Depot or Amazon.com with shipping! Thinking about placing a special order there? Forget about it. They will never call you to say your order came in. They will put it on the shelf and sell your specially ordered items to any walk-ins. I miss the people that used to run the place. I shopped there today for the LAST time. Never again. Not worth it. I imagine this store will soon go under and become another gas station convenience store. What a shame, because they have been there for nearly 60 years. Bye Big Value. read more

This is my go to place when ever I ever have a problem. They are are the friendliest place I have ever been. If they don't have the answer to something they will send you to someone who knows. Just can't say enough about them. read more

Nice selection of plants. The store is clean, but its bathrooms need some help. The staff was pleasant, but a bit condescending, as if they knew everything, but what really is a game changer for me is that they are overpriced, way overpriced. The buyer should know that if they come here, they better be ready to spend more than you would elsewhere. read more

Such friendly and helpful employees. I highly recommend this place. I definitely will keep coming back here.

Great value, healthy plants and friendly service. Helpful and knowledgeable. Even put me on a call list for my special requests.

Love Big Value! Wonderful selection of plants and trees, and knowledgeable staff! Will keep returning over and over!

All I wanted was jasmine. Once there, I wanted everything! Great service. They answered all of my questions and gave clear instructions for my not very green thumbs. I'm quite pleased so far...my jasmine is still alive! read more

I was in Daytona for my son's wedding last fall. I needed some plants to decorate the restaurant. Since Big Value Garden Center had been in business for many years, i suspected that it probably was a good business. And I was correct! The staff was knowledgeable and helped me with my choices. I bought some large palms and they properly bound them for transporting. As a landscape designer who has dealt with many nurseries, I would highly recommend Big Value Garden Center. read more

In addition to being a plant nursery, BVGC also has a full service sprinkler installation and maintenance department. Our experience with their sprinkler service has been EXCEPTIONAL from the installation of our system to it's flawless function. The owner Tim and his tech Jarred went above and beyond, troubleshooting a city utility issue and getting the right people involved to correct it. Fantastic people doing great business! read more

We visited here today with our community Garden Club and couldn't have been treated any better. Corey gave us a tour and explanation of the services they provide at the garden center. Some members brought plants along and staff were able to identify if the plant needed a particular fertilizer or treatment. Prices are reasonable, gift shop had great pottery, chimes, outdoor wall hangings etc. each of us were given a gift bag of garden related items. We will definitely be back. Thank you! read more

If you're looking for knowledge, customer service and quality products this is the place for you. This is a real landscape nursery. Not a box store that has little knowledge of what you need. Highly recommended. read more

I wish I knew about this place before I bought most of my plants and supplies from the larger commercial stores like Home Depot and Lowes. Big Value Garden staff are fantastic, knowledgeable about the plants they are selling and extremely helpful. The quality of their plants, flowers and shrubs cannot be matched! They also have garden statues, stones, decorative pieces to add a special touch to your garden or pool. I'm so happy to have a main garden center to go to from now on! read more
