Every employee was SUPER informative of their products and helped us with every single question we had. Yes I know sometimes an employee is just trying to make a sale but you know what they helped us get what we were looking for and steered us in the right direction with the discounts and deals. All of my favorites are sold here, which makes it so convenient. Service (4/5). The person handing out samples of delicious liquors was so fun, charming and informative. I loved one of the items I sampled and had to buy some on the way out of the store. He even got me to try a new brand of vodka with his recommendation. However, the lady at the check out could have been more friendly.

The sales people at Byerly's have been extremely helpful - giving me perspective about how much to spend. Honestly I was torn and their insights were really helpful. You just can't help feeling guilty that you can't splurge for good wine but when it's 200 people you start to be a bit more careful about budget. Byerly's Wine & Spirits staff have also been extremely helpful letting me know when their wine sales will take place so that I can buy their 2 for 1 specials. Decided on a Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc that normally costs around $20/bottle, but bought it at their 2 for 1 so got each bottle for around $10. It's a great white that has wonderful citrus flavors. Now I'll go back and check for a red wine. It feels a bit odd to be giving all this detail. Oh well, as long as it helps others trying to figure out where to find good deals for a big feast.

The prepared food is what gets me here. Everything is so good! It can be pricey but a really good meal if you are in a hurry. Easy to grab and go. We wanted a snack for our girls day and nothing sounded good so we stopped by and had a quick lunch here. So nice there are tables outside so you can enjoy your food too. The woman who greeted my was very friendly, asking if there was anything in particular that she could help me find. I picked up Skinny Girl White Cranberry Cosmo, which sounded delicious and well worth a try... There was only 1 bottle left, and normally that's a good sign that it's a top seller. I paid $11.99 for the bottle which I thought was just the right price. I then ventured over to the wine section and picked up a bottle of good ol' Yellow Tail chardonnay, on sale for $5.99... Which is the cheapest I have seen it around. So I was happy with the overall price of my excursion. Black Diamond Wine & Spirits is less then 5 minutes away from my work...
