That was an easy yes since I love to laugh and after remembering him doing the Trump impressions on IG, I knew I'd be cracking up. Baltimore Comedy Factory, which I will be referring to as BCF for the remainder of this review, is tucked away on the 2nd level of the Best Western Hotel. Some folks think I'm "Bougie" but I'm far from it. I love stuff like this.. Lol! BCF has a separate entrance so you don't have to go through the hotel lobby to get there. Once you walk up a SUBSTANTIAL amount of stairs, yes, you'll add to your daily steps, trust me, you'll have to stand in this loooooong line if you didn't purchase VIP tickets. I know you're wondering, no, she didn't purchase VIP tickets.. Lol! :) Even with the long line, once you enter, BCF is pretty damn big and finding a nice table to watch the show wasn't a tall task at all. I was pleasantly surprised! Just like most venues similar to this one, unless you come with your friends, you'll be sharing your table with complete strangers. That's cool with me since I'm social but introverts may be a bit uncomfortable. BCF has to work on their food and drink ordering system. The day we came, it took about 45 minutes before our server made her presence known. Once she arrived, she did a good job and had a cool personality. All and all, I had a very good time and I'd definitely come back, because no, I'm not Bougie..LOL!

The staff at the front were very friendly and helpful, and getting seated was pretty smooth once they started letting people in. The show itself started on time, lasted about an hour and a half, and the sound quality was decent. The venue is a nice size -- nothing fancy, but it works. There are a few things to be aware of:    *   Two-drink minimum per person    *   Tickets are will call only (no electronic tickets)    *   Separate lines depending on ticket type    *   Seating is first come, first served and you may share tables Service was just okay. Our server was fine overall, but one comment didn't sit right. When some of us considered the non-alcoholic "bottomless" drink option, he mentioned that he doesn't really make money from that. It came off a bit uncomfortable and unnecessary. Also, the way drinks were handled felt a little off -- for example, bringing multiple sodas at once that ended up watered down and not really used. Overall, it was a decent night and I'd consider going back for another show, but the service experience could definitely be improved.

It felt like the decision was based more on personal bias than anything that actually happened. If security is there to keep things safe and fair, they should at least take the time to investigate before throwing people out. Acting like a tough guy and refusing to listen doesn't solve anything it just makes the place look bad.

The music was on trend....lots of your old school hits, classics, today's pop, rnb, line dancing music and even country songs.....and the crowd was an eclectic mix....young, old, everything in-between and all over the place to be honest! lol We came here as a night cap for some late night drinks and a party vibe. We at least got that and I can say I've been here. In all, cool spot and venue but just not necessarily my kind vibe...if you catch my drift. One thing to share....the drinks are mad strong and the bathrooms were super clean. lol. Worth a visit when in this area and looking for something to do on the late night tip....because most other places in the Baltimore Harbor area are closed by 10pm or before midnight.

MY FRIEND GOT ROOFIED. MY FRIEND GOT ROOFIED. MY FRIEND GOT ROOFIED. There was also very clearly some operation happening outside where "homeless people" that were clearly just grifters kept getting sent to try and hassle people at the front door. I know for a fact that these people weren't actually homeless - as a homeless person wouldn't have left as soon as I looked them in the eye and called them a fake, they would've just called me an asshole and moved on about tryna get by. The fact that people kept fucking off and replaced by new ones everytime I clocked the hustle means I am correct - there was a shakedown operation happening out front. All the while? There was only one security guard - and all he did was check ID's. I'm sure the dude would've done more if he was properly equipped though. Y'all sincerely need to get your shit together. That was fucking awful. If you are a woman, or empathetic - do not come to this establishment. Apparently you do not have a choice in the matter, you will be manipulated somehow.

The two item minimum has never been a problem for me with the DC swiss burger and an angry orchard coming out to about $35 after tip. Booked tickets well in advance via Vivid Seats and bought the event protection. The interior was smaller than I expected, definitely a homey feel. We arrived an hour early to pick up our tickets at Will Call, painless quick process. Host led us to our seats and was friendly. We sat close to the front. Average waiting time to get our food for a busy comedy club, the old bay fries and burrito were pretty good! Needed improvement: Our server wasn't smiling at all, did the bare minimum. My husband ordered two items that were featured in one of their combo specials and didn't notice, a great server would've pointed out that it's more cost effective to order the combo, but she didnt. left a low tip as feedback, figured that would get the message across. She then came back to ask if everything was okay with the service when we were trying to pay attention to the show- didn't feel like explaining then, so explaining here. Other servers however appeared friendlier. Pro tip: if you want to get picked on by the comedian, sit towards the front in the center, that's where it's lit and he/she and the camera can actually see you. Or the tables flanking the stage. Parking tip: the garage right next to the theatre is $17, suggest parking there rather than the pricier $25 one around the corner across the street! We realized this after. Would def come back to see another show.
