The owner has put an immense amount of her time (I'm sure along with her experience in the field) making this school incredible exceeding every expectation i had personally. Every aspect of your child's day has been taken into consideration to make sure that your child will be learning and not being just babysat while you're at work like some other day care centers. My daughter is excited for the first time ever to go to school. She sees the owner and runs up to her and hugs her and loves all the staff. This truly is more than just a day care this really is a school environment and has structure and an amazing curriculum not that has been set by a corporate office to be followed but by an owner who wants to set your child up to love learning and be excited to to go to school! It's amazing how noticeable it is all the hard work and time and thought that has been put into creating a successful school for both the child and the parent. I cant day enough good things about this facility. What a wonderful journey we have begun sailing thanks to the amazing staff and owner!!!! If you want more than a babysitter and want to set your child up to start his or her education on a high note so your child will be excited to go to school and learn this is the place to go!!!!! Plus they have an amazing food program and even an app where you get updates everyday of what your children are doing. (I'm telling you the owner has really put her time into finding the best resources and utilizing them) best child care I've experienced thus far in eleven years!!!

I informed the school of dietary restrictions for my child and also had given all forms required by them prior to starting from the doctor. Unfortunately this allergy was not taken seriously. On multiple occasions my child was served foods that they were allergic to. After the 1st time I was then told that the allergy chart was not up and that there was a miscommunication and it was understood that there were no restrictions for the child's diet. (Even though there was doctors notes in place) I was also told I would have to bring food from home or that they can serve the sides of the day excluding the protein. I was also told that the child would be separated from the rest of the class to make sure of the possibility of the child eating someone's else food wouldnt happen. I thought this would be a good idea but still from then on I was so paranoid that I would remind the staff the day of and call after lunch each time this item was on the menu to assure my child was ok. On the second occasion I spoke to the teacher who ASSURED me that my child did not eat the allergic item. 30 mins later I get a call that my child actually did and was experiencing allergic reactions. I was told that the teacher, yes the teacher was out of the room durning lunchtime and that the aid served lunch and fail to check the chart. With all that being said if you don't want to micro manage your child's school just skip this one. The staff is undertrained and the most important things get overlooked.

At first it may seem like, "Whoa, a daycare in an apartment?" But Ms. Davanna and her team have truly curated a space that is clean, bright, welcoming, and fosters learning. When I brought my 3-year-old son for a brief tour before enrolling him, he was immediately drawn to the artwork on the walls and the toys that were available. What I especially appreciated: - the small class size, optimizing teacher-student interaction and care - engaging lessons and materials for the students - Ms. Davanna has a calendar and varies learning themes each month which is really great - multiple opportunities for learning while playing - very limited screen time - healthy and nutritious meals with weekly menus that offered variety so that kids didn't get bored - use of the Brightwheel app to keep all communications and sharing of updates in one place - Affordable price point, considering the number of hours of care and the quality of care provided Ms. Davanna herself is very professional and it's clear that she's an experienced educator. As the class had a range of ages, the teachers differentiated instruction to meet each child where they were. Having been a teacher myself for several years, this is NOT an easy task, but Ms. Davanna and her team made it look effortless. My son was potty-training at the time, and because he's only 3, was going through a range of big feelings each day. The teachers were very patient with him, and kept me updated on his daily progress and shared pics of his activities via the app which I appreciated. Ms. Izzy is really loving and thoughtful, and Ms. Jennifer was always willing to go above and beyond. I was even able to bring my younger son to the class for a day just to see what it was like for him, and he really enjoyed himself. I can tell that my elder son had a delightful experience and even though we live in Atlanta now, he still talks about his time at Seeds & Sprouts with fondness and excitement. I really wish I could have brought Seeds & Sprouts with me when we moved, cuz it's a struggle to find quality care down here! Overall I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great place for their kiddos.

Our oldest recently graduated, and although we had the option to move her into public school earlier, we intentionally kept her at Montessori. The combination of small class sizes, individual attention, and the quality of the math and reading curriculum made the decision easy. She left extremely well prepared academically, which was exactly what we hoped for. Our younger daughter is entering Pre-K4 this year, and we're very happy to continue with the school. The Montessori approach and strong curriculum are major advantages, but the consistency of the staff is equally important to us. Teacher turnover is very low, and the staff are experienced educators who focus on learning and development rather than simply providing daycare. I also appreciate that the school continues to add experiences for the kids beyond academics. Dance classes and the annual recital have been great, and this year they added an aquarium field trip as well. It's rare to have the perspective of experiencing a school both as a student and, years later, as a parent. East Rutherford Montessori has continued to deliver the same strong educational foundation. 10/10 from our family, and we have happily recommended it to many others.

We started when my son was 2 after we moved to Hastings from the city. Choosing a daycare was stressful, but our interaction with Ms. Jaggassar and the other parents she put us in touch with made us feel comfortable. Three years later, my son has graduated from in a nurturing environment that both helped him grow and made him enjoy each and every day. The most valuable thing about Little Village is the teachers. The infant room, the toddler room, and pre-school, we have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the teachers, who genuinely enjoy being around the children and bringing out the best in them. A special thank you to Elizabeth, Regina, Ruth, and Andy for watching my child and always keeping a smile on his face. He has thrived because of your care. And lastly, my sincere gratitude to Ms. Jaggassar, who is such a warm, personable, and thoughtful person.
