    Big Barn Venue

Came here for a wedding last Sunday on Cinco de Mayo!!! The grounds were well kept and clean and the landscaping was pretty! You drive in and there's a small sign that directs you to the right for Big Sky Barn. There is someone outside directing you where to park - either in the small parking lot to the left or some spaces to the right. Ladies, there are a few rocks so be careful walking to the Chapel and the Big Barn with your heels! The Chapel was a decent size and you are met with amazing windows in the front that shows the green trees outside! Makes for an amazing backdrop to say your vows, though the lighting coming in may not be the best contrast for photos! I liked the beams and the rustic barn wood used to decorate the chapel - the only thing I saw wrong was the pews were not evenly spaced and you can move them back and forth so it may look a bit in disarray in photos. They should take the time to line them nicely prior to each event. The Big Barn was where the reception was next door. Fairly large, held a party of 100ish comfortably. The tables were decorated nicely with flowers and the combination of long wood tables and round white table clothes were a nice contrast from each other. I liked the beams and drapery but those light fixtures were fantastic - I was a huge fan of the chandeliers with the bird cages around them, added a bit of character to the space. The grounds between the chapel and the big barn was nice for cocktail hour - there were games, like cornhole, to keep the kids busy but they were mainly running around the large space. You can walk down the stairs to this gazebo covered in flowers, the trees were covered with twinkly white lights and there was a "little" (actually really steep) bridge below to take photos at. This makes for a really pretty outdoor space at night. You can look down from the large deck as well, and the deck has it's own wood burning fireplace as well as a chair swing. Definitely nice to be outside after dancing on a lovely Texas night. Overall, the venue was pretty and if you want the rustic barn feel, this is it! It's so close to Conroe though and the water, I wish there was some water views or even lodging on site for guests/wedding party. They have enough space for it. This venue feels like it's in the back of a forest! Magical none-the-less!

The venue is stunning with so many different places on the property for pictures! It is a killer deal to have the ENTIRE property for over 12 hours, that's borderline unheard of. Joanna and I believe her name was Abby, we're absolutely AMAZING. I cannot possibly thank them enough, such genuine amazing ladies. They have a vendor list that is amazing and I used it to find every one of mine!

Oak Tree Manor - Bride & Groom

    Oak Tree Manor

We truly could not have imagined our wedding anywhere other than Oak Tree Manor. From the moment we…read moretoured the property, we were absolutely in awe -- especially when we saw the huge oak tree where we held our ceremony. The venue itself is stunning, beautifully maintained, and you can immediately tell this is a family-run venue that takes incredible pride in their property, buildings, and service. From the very beginning, the entire team was friendly, accommodating, and so easy to work with. One of the things we loved most was that they have two separate houses on the property -- one for the bride and one for the groom -- and both were spacious and comfortable, which was something we struggled to find at other venues. The venue package itself included so much: tables, linens, water goblets, plates, silverware, and chargers, along with the option for either an indoor or outdoor reception space. They do require the use of their in-house caterer, bartender, and security team, but honestly, that ended up being one of the biggest positives. The menu selection was great, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and our guests could not stop talking about how good the drinks were all night long. Leading up to the wedding, they were incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made planning so much easier and less stressful. They even allowed us to bring everything over the day before the wedding, which made a huge difference because we were able to focus on getting ready and actually enjoying our day. Unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day, so we ultimately had to move our reception indoors. The team was so patient while we watched the weather and decided what to do. We made the final decision only about an hour before the ceremony, and they moved incredibly fast to completely transform the indoor space so our coordinators could come in and finish decorating. They handled everything calmly and professionally during what could have been a very stressful situation. What stood out most to us throughout the entire day was how accommodating and attentive the team was. No matter what was happening, they made us feel supported, reassured, and genuinely cared for. They were always nearby if we needed something, consistently checking in, and doing everything they could to make sure the day went smoothly so we could truly enjoy every moment. The team at Oak Tree Manor truly made us feel cared for every step of the way. Their kindness, professionalism, flexibility, and attention to detail helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect, and we are so grateful for them.

Everyone was so friendly and kind, and their thoughtful guidance leading up to the wedding helped us feel prepared for every step. I especially want to thank Haydee. Her warmth and attention made such a difference on our wedding day. She made sure our vendors knew exactly where to park, guided them whenever needed, and handled everything with such grace. Because of her, we were able to simply be present and enjoy our day without worry. The entire team went above and beyond, and we will always be grateful for the love and care they put into making our day so special. We couldn't have imagined a better experience. Highly, highly recommend.

Wow, and not in a good way. My husband booked this 'adventure' as a treat while we are in town. We…read moretravel full time and really enjoy boat and train excursions. We were looking forward to a calm, romantic evening on a sunset cruise. As many reviews state, the parking situation is dismal. The lot is confusing and in bad shape. We boarded the boat and it looked good from afar, but once on board, it was dirty, rundown and full of bugs/spider webs. There was no safety brief or information given. The two staff members we spoke to were very nice. The boat didn't leave until well past sundown, so the sunset was not a part of the experience. We didn't experience the meal so I cannot comment on that. Unfortunately, the music on the interior of deck 2 was much too loud for us and deck one had the meal, then a saxophone player that was also not the calm, soothing experience we had hoped for. So, we got stuck on the top deck exterior area. This would have been great because the weather was gorgeous. However, the seating is sparse and awful; hard metal benches, the few with cushions were filthy and so thin that they made no difference. The biggest disappointment for us was that they allow smoking on ALL deck exteriors. Most of the staff are smokers as were many of the customers. As non-smokers, we could not escape the smoke. There was a group smoking marijuana also which really stunk up the air. It would be nice if there was a designated smoking area at the back of the boat so that non-smokers had some respite. We spent three hours standing at the front of the top deck, trying to stay upwind of smokers. I still came home with a headache and the smell of smoke on my clothing. The boat has great potential, it just needs some good deep cleaning, seating and maintenance. It would have been nice to have some dialogue that gave information about the history of the boat and the area. A designated area for smoking would be a huge improvement. I realize the parking lot is a shared area, but better signage to where to board the boat and improvements for the lighting and surface of the lot is needed. My husband, who didn't have a drop of alcohol, tripped over a huge crack and fell in the parking lot. It was a terrible topper to an already bad experience.

They helped me out so much during the planning process of my wedding. Helping me pick out colors, center pieces, and all of the decorations for the wedding. On the day of the wedding they were able to get everything set up inside of the venue, so that way I could just focus on getting ready and not stress about time. We also used there catering service for the BBQ food and it tasted amazing. We had leftovers to take home with us that lasted a good few days. I'm talking I needed four waiters four days before my wedding... oh and let's add that it's on a holiday! Bree was so courteous the first time that I called her. I had actually spoken to a couple other service providers in the area and unfortunately.. it didn't seem like they wanted my business and I felt brushed off. when I called diamond and Pearl services Bree answered the phone and we chatted for about 20 minutes. I could tell she was in the middle of something as I could hear the wind whipping behind her and people in the background. I had told her that if she needed to she could call me back, however she insisted that now was a good time. That meant the world to me especially after being treated so poorly from other companies. I was able to get a quote from her immediately over the phone and within the next few days have a contract signed and paid for. When I called to give her the payment me and Bree ended up chatting for an hour! She knows her stuff! Even though I wasn't using her as a wedding coordinator I would highly recommend her. During our conversation we talked about all the little last-minute things that brides tend to forget and chatted. She is so friendly and personable! The day went off without a hitch and her staff was incredible. I am very grateful for not only her kind words and help during this time but being able to get four people on a holiday last minute for me. It's extraordinary the lengths she went to to make sure that I would be taken care of. I'm humbled by it. Thank you so much Bree and all the staff at Diamond and Pearl Services for making my special day absolutely perfect.
