Village Properties at Sunriver - Bedroom of Warbler 6

I did feel the price was high for a two bedroom house but it fit my needs at the time I rented it. There is a dining table that can sit 10 people but only two bedrooms, so didn't quite make sense. The king sized beds were comfortable but HIGH off the ground. I am 5'4" and had to climb/jump to get up on the bed in the master. Neither bedroom has a private bath. The house has LOTS of stairs, so not a good choice for those with mobility issues. Large deck is nice but only has a table to seat 4 with a small, 2 seat glider chair next to it and on the other side of the house are two lounge chairs so the outdoor seating is limited. Did not use the BBQ. No clocks anywhere except one with a dead battery over the stairwell. Hot tub is big and there are lots of "pool" towels but the only way to get to it is thru the master bedroom or a door from the back deck. Overall, my stay at this property was very nice and fit my needs.

Very Disappointing Experience -- Misleading Location Our…read moreexperience with the Village Properties at Sunriver was extremely disappointing. The listing gave the impression that we would be staying in Sunriver, but the property was actually miles away. We were not familiar with the area, and that distinction made a huge difference. We were provided with bikes, but what's the point of having bikes when the property is too far away to realistically bike into Sunriver? We ended up needing a car just to get where we expected to be staying. In my opinion, the way these properties are marketed is deceptive at best and could easily mislead people who aren't familiar with the area. The location should be made much clearer upfront rather than making guests assume they are actually staying in Sunriver. We would never stay here again, and I would strongly recommend that anyone booking carefully verify the exact location before making a reservation.

Everyone has been incredibly helpful, responsive and friendly at every step from touring the property to maintenance requests. Dan is an absolute legend when it comes to coordinating repairs and maintenance. Unlike other property management companies we have rented through, Superior actually feels like they have our best interests in mind and have been extremely accommodating and communicative. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent in Bend.

The fees were pretty incredible…read moreand a credit report had to be run just to SEE the rental (my husband was there at the time, but we were unable to see with an agent). We were "awarded" the opportunity to rent it and signed the lease effective 10/15/2025; not arriving until the day before Thanksgiving because of logistical and employment situations. The property was dusty and needed to be cleaned the day before move in. The oven and microwave were 30 years old and pretty much non- usable. We were visited by Superior once moved in to check the condition of the property. The ladies were nice enough but not what I would call concerned about a couple of problems with the property. The owner actually came to the house to install the oven and microwave because of the delay with them coordinating contractors. Thanks Nick! It was a nice enough property and the rent we paid was commensurate with the type and condition of the property. When we arrived, I had to replace toilet seats and hand clean all the glass lighting and replaced everything with appropriate LED bulbs. We also had to pay $750 to clean up the lawn that was left unattended for 45 days before we arrived. When we left, with the property cleaner than we had received it, Superior charged me $540 for supposedly cleaning it. I call BS on that. I was on my hands and knees in the bathrooms; again hand cleaned every lighting fixture; moved W/D to clean behind; wiped out all refrigerator and freezer shelves. and cleaned out the garage/windows and flooring. We also had the property outside professionally manicured and cleaned 1 week before we left ($450) . Stay away from any property managed by this company. They were not responsive (unless it was convenient to them) and they will take your hard earned money. If you have to use them leave the carpet dirty and the residence uncleaned because they will charge you anyway. As an aside, Mountain High is a very nice neighborhood that has very good and nice neighbors. A great place, but not if Superior is in the picture. *We gave them a chance to itemize the cost of the cleaning so we could understand what we got charged $540 dollars for, and they ignored our request*. That tells me all I need to know about their business dealings.

I was very disappointed with a house we rented through Sunray this winter (19 to 26th of Dec 2012 -…read moreJayl Lane #6 in Sunriver, OR). This was our second Christmas in Sunriver and we decided to try Sunray after having rented from the resort directly last year. The house and Sunray were very good on paper until we arrived as planned on the 19th. It was about 10F outside and the house should have been heated in advance since we told the agency exactly when we'd be there. But when we entered the property, it was below 50F and took two hours to get the temp up to 65F. Obviously the heater wasn't working. We turned on the stove, chimney and everything but the thing was just blowing cold air. Great with a 3 y.o. in tow! We called Sunray an hour after we arrived and after about 2 hours a guy showed up with space heaters saying that everything seemed normal but that they;'d be back the next day if we called again. Duh! We called of course because at night we discovered that the upstairs bedroom's heating vents was placed under the bed in such a way that the air flow was blocked and the room was cold. I called Sunray again the next day. This time they sent their maintenance guy and he went and checked the furnace. he admited that it was very old and rusty in there and that after jiggling some wires he was able to get two of the three heating elements to work (they weren't on before!) So the rest of the week we managed with lost of wood in the fireplace and all space heaters on day and night. Ridiculous. All in all, the week was spent in the hum of mutiple heaters barely keeping this big house heated. Result: I got a flu and lost $350 of pre-paid ski lifts packs at Mr Bachelor. I barely recovered before we had to drive back to Portland, OR. Arrived in Portland, the doctor said that I had a secondary infection: another week in bed with antibiotics. My employer loved it! My daughter had a blast making snow men outside but my wife and I really felt disappointed. To top it all, I told Sunray wghat happened one last time when we checked out and said we'd appreciate a gesture. The lady that seemed to manage the office said she'd be back to us the following week (2 weeks ago). Today I receive a form marketing letter from them saying Thanks and that we should quickly pre-book for next year! Yeah right. Stay away!

Rented from them for about 3 years. They rarely ever bothered us with inspections which was great!…read moreEven when they did inspect it was super fast. Got about half our deposit back. Thought we deserved more but I know sometimes it is the owners who decide what we get back, not the property management, so who knows with that one. The only time we ever had a maintenance problem they had someone there same day to fix it. The receptionists and leasing agents are lovely. They give excellent customer service. Two complaints: The reason we left was the outrageous raise of rent. It was $800/month. 2 years later they raise it to $850. Ok, not bad. 6 months later they raise it another $100 to $950. That is a bit greedy. Again, may have been the owner making that decision, but even if it was, someone should have told him that is insane. My second complaint is they have no mercy to late payments. I had lived there for two years and the one time I forgot to mail the check in I get hit with around $100 in late fees. I get it, my fault, but they were very nasty and rude when I asked to have it waived after being such a good tenant. I never complained about how loud the neighbors were. I never had maintenance requests except for the one. I always paid my rent on time. They couldn't forgive it just once? That one was for sure the property manager's decision, not the owner's. I could hear the manager in the back make comments about me when the poor receptionist went back there to ask. Perhaps shut the door next time you decide to bad mouth a tenant? The late payment was well over a year ago, so maybe there is a new manager or person in charge, but at the time it was awful. I don't know if she asked the property manager himself or just a manager on staff, but that person snapped at her for even asking on my behalf and it was embarrassing for her. Would I rent from them again? Yes. I would just make sure I pay my rent on time every time (which is now easier because they let you pay online!).

Our experience with Plus Property Management was one of the most stressful rental experiences we…read morehave ever had. During the short time we lived at the property, we dealt with ongoing conflict involving a neighboring tenant that escalated into repeated complaints, harassment & vandalism to our vehicles, and multiple police reports. Despite repeatedly notifying management of our concerns and attempting to seek help, many of our calls and messages went unanswered. Communication from management primarily seemed to occur only when complaints were being made against us, even when those complaints were later disputed or lacked merit. What stood out most was the apparent imbalance in how the situation was handled. We did not feel that our concerns, documentation, or police reports were taken seriously, despite the ongoing nature of the issues and the clear impact they were having on our sense of safety and ability to peacefully live in the home, as it is our right. We also observed interactions during the dispute that were very unprofessional and raised concerns for us about neutrality and fairness in management's handling of tenant conflicts. Rather than conducting what felt like an objective review of the situation, we were left with the impression that assumptions had already been made before hearing our side fully and that our neighbor, despite the crimes that were committed by her to us and the bullying we were enduring, she seemed to have been favored throughout it all. The overall experience left us feeling unsupported, dismissed, and unfairly blamed while dealing with repeated harassment and vandalism issues that were never appropriately or fairly addressed. If you are doing what we did and researching Plus Property management before deciding to rent from them, please do yourself a favor and listen to your gut and do NOT rent from them!!! We have rented in Bend from 4 different property management companies and have never experienced anything this bad before!! They are literally the worst!!!!!

My room was gorgeous, with high ceilings, wood, and soft decor. The bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Worth the cost. Another place I really wanted to visit was the indoor heated pool area that looked amazing. Maybe next time!
