Early the next day Manuel and Raul made quick work of installing the metal panels and by midday, Raul was at the door saying "Mr. Vogler the fence job is complete and would you please check the work to see if everything meets your approval", which it did! Lots of back and forth about marking the water lines that run under the fence line between the meter and the house. I didn't want the project to start until those lines were marked and Rudy didn't care. Rudy told me installation could begin because he had clearance from the Tucson Water Department. But it turns out that the city only clears the line running to the meter, not the lines from the meter to the house. I found out, after calling 811 (Before You Dig), that the lines to the house are considered private and that I needed to hire a private contractor to locate the lines, which I did. Despite the lines having been marked, the crew broke one the first day on the job. Rudy told me it was an irrigation line (happens all the time according to him). After several unsuccessful attempts to fix the "irrigation line", a plumber was called hours later to fix the broken water line. All in all an extremely unpleasant experience with a happy ending -- a very nice fence.

Kase initially helped us design the fence and then we thoroughly enjoyed having his crew at our house for the installation. Family affair with great people and easy to have around. Ashleigh in the office kept us appraised of progress and was very accomodating when we had delays on our end due to other contractors. They just rolled with it. Secondly, the finished product is absolutely stunning, with obvious pride of workmanship! It's kind of hard to get excited about a pool fence, but let me say that rather than an "industrial" looking standard type of black and straight fence, they custom made a rusted, architecturally sensitive fence that blends in with the elements of the yard beautifully. It looks like art in my backyard! Lastly, pricing was very reasonable, and more than competetive with other bids I received. Retrospectively, I think this was money very well spent and was so much more than even anticipated. I highly recommend this fabricator and would consider using them again. I had a leveling kit installed on my Tundra last year by Toyota, and rather than informing me the hardware for my skid plate no longer fit, they just kept the skid plate and sent me on my way. I eventually acquired a new OEM plate, but none of the hardware worked due to the leveling kit. I checked every supply spot from Sierra Vista to Tucson, but when I brought it to Micah and explained my predicament he had a plan in mind. He had to custom fab the hardware, modify the skid plate to fit (see photos), and got it on there looking like it was a factory part. I couldn't be happier with the results! Only negative thing I can say is that it took about 2 weeks for him to get my truck into his shop, but that's just because he had a backlog of projects and takes his time rather than rush through them.
