these guys could not fit me in because they were so busy. Wanted me to come back in three weeks. Also, at $120 an hour for labor, they are the most expensive in town, alongside Craigs downtown. I went to Anderson automotive on Highway 50, after being referred by a local. Great experience and only $90 an hour for labor. They got me right in and did a professional job. Mixed bag. They HAD the RV tire I needed, but didn't clarify I needed to drive the RV in initially on the phone. On a hot day, I had to drive an EXTRA hour PLUS due to the lack of leading helpful info. I was allowed to bring the dogs inside (due to heat), but took nearly 15 min to even get attention while they were in the car (engine on) while the gal was on the phone...who still then just passed me a bit asking 1 or both tires. From the price, she gave me the wrong tire (8 ply versus 6 ply). The "saving my place in line" for my drive turned out to still put the walk in guy behind me first in line. I'm glad they carried the tire and let the dogs come in...and eventually was talked to like an actual human being at the end. I'm hoping the Saturday before the 4th weekend was just a poor showing due to extenuating circumstances/staffing. read more

I took by 2020 Ram 3500 Dually in for a rotation and alignment last month. I was told that the tires would have to be pulled off the wheels because of the dually. Ok, I expected that. I walked after about 90 minutes to check the truck and he had all the tires back on, no changing wheels. I was told that it turns out they didn't need to do that. Yesterday I went to have the tired aired up and found out that the TPMS were not moved when they rotated the tires. The TPMS is reading my front tires at 62, but the gage says they are 80. The TPMS says the 80 pound tires are on the inside rear. I would have thought this would be standard with a tire rotation. Move the TPMS to match to the tires you are putting into that location. Additionally, the rear outside tires were put on such that the valve stem points to the inside of the tire. I can't air them myself and was told that the tire would have to be pulled to air them. Instead of doing the job as I was told it needed to be done (at the higher rate they charge duallys) they just didn't complete the job correctly. I still paid the higher price for that should have been for the work they didn't do. Now I will be paying $120 to have all the tires pulled, TPMS reset correctly and wheels switched so I can air them without pulling them every time. Very disappointed. I just read through the Google reviews and it seems this is a standard MO they have with out of towners. That is surprising since the entire existence of most businesses in this town is for tourism. Most in the Nomad and RV world share their experiences and recommendations on FB groups. Sad that they aren't interested in our business. read more

We were passing through town last week, and stopped to fill up on fuel for our side by side as well as to get propane. I left the gas cap sitting on top of the pump by accident and didn't realize until we were all the way to Grand junction. So I got a text message all the way in California today from my mom who had a flat tire in the WalMart parking lot. With my dad recently having surgery on his knee this last week, it has been pretty stressful on my mom and this was one thing she didn't need to deal with at this moment. We brought our car in for alignment, and at the completion of the work they gave us a printout explaining in detail what they found and what they fixed.
