I appreciate the smaller shops as they really know how to treat their customers. Quality work, good prices and keep you up on progress. They have become my go to shop for all my repairs.

My fault cause I brought them the bearings apparently. when all that it needed was a rotor spacer $4 part. Not sure how with all the experience in the building that couldn't be deduced... their response was " as long as the rotors not rubbing it's fine" it wasn't anymore cause they pressed the bearings incorrectly.... Still my fault cause I supplied the bearings.... Then they put in a 1250 kit on my sportster in which every gasket leaked atleast twice and I was given some grief at the fact that I wanted a bike that didn't leak from the owner and push back. On top of that I'd been chasing a noise they refused to actually pay attention to and just gave me the run around every time I dropped it off. only to find out doing my own due diligence the bolts they removed to install the kit aren't torqued to spec. I wasn't charged for any of the additional gaskets needed however for the one job my bike saw their shop atleast 5 times that summer, not counting the time I had to re drop it off cause they didn't complete the service I requested. I originally had a better review posted but I'm still leaking oil from my base gasket on the rear cylinder and I'm having to go through my bike and make sure bolts on the drive train are actually tight and I'm constantly wondering what care was taken re building my rocker box's and the other internal parts if I have bolts on the outside loose. Shops beautiful, summers nice. Other than that my experience wasn't great and as it's known for being performance driven I expected to be taken care of much better and I shouldn't have ever even had any push back to having my bike fixed properly.

One of the sleds we'd brought with us to ride, was mechanically set-up and jetted to operate at Minnesota elevation and was, basically, "dead" in our Colorado mountains high-elevation. Super disappointing on Day #1, as not everyone could ride - and we only had one more day before the Minnesota family had to fly back home. The next morning, we went straight to Timberline Motorsports when the opened - looking for mercy - and boy! did we get some! We asked if they could immediately work us in (help!) so that everyone could ride on our last day in the mountains. These guys saved our vacation! Awesome mechanic, did a quick troubleshoot, diagnosed the problem and identified parts that would work (on this older sled), and had the thing running great in less than an hour. Absolutely top-notch! And when they handed us the invoice, we couldn't believe how reasonable it was... MUCH less than we expected, for emergency service! So nice of them to understand our plight, take care of everything, and not take advantage price-wise. All of us left there super-impressed with this shop and the folks who run it. Great people - Great business! THANK YOU Timberline MotorSports!

A motorcycle can represent more than just a vesicle for riding to work or to the bar with friends…read more A motorcycle can also represent one's history. At the beginning of September my father sent in his 1977 Harley super glider shovel head motorcycle into Holt's Ham Recycle in Minturn, CO to get it restored for the upcoming summer. He was quoted 5,000$ for this work and was told he would be notified if there were upcoming issues that caused the budget to be gone over. This motorcycle means more to my father than just a vehicle to transport himself. It is also one of the last remaining pieces of equipment from his father, my grandfather. My grandfather passed away in 2004 and the motorcycle was the one thing my dad had left that was physical and wasn't destroyed or given away in the will. This bike is important to my dad and that's why he wanted to get it restored. He was told after months of the bike being at the shop that they would be in fact over budget by over $2,400. My dad paid the money hoping the bike would be in its best shape. Upon arrival home the bike not only didn't turn over it also didn't even stay running when we finally rewired the solenoid for the starter. We then found the gas tank was never filled nor cleaned out before use. So, we cleaned out the tanks and the rusted carburetor and finally it would idle. Upon putting it into gear it took off. The clutch had never been touched for the $7,400 we spent. Upon closer inspection we found the inner primary cover to be completely cracked from his misuse in tools equipment. These small mistakes could hurt someone who doesn't know how to work on their own vehicle. My father put in a lot of money to get this bike fixed and when he was promised he would be able to ride it to Sturgis he was excited. This will not be able to happen this year or probably next due to this man's poor work ethic and bad quality of the work he does complete. I do not recommend going to this man or company for work on your bike. He will simply take advantage of your money and your time. PS. DONT GO THERE.
