We usually get good pricing and service at the Globe Big O. We've bought two new sets of tires on the last year and are happy with the price, quality and service. We've been buying tires there since it opened years ago. We always are treated well when it's time for rotation or service. It's has the pleasant vibe of a small town shop. I visited Big O in Globe AZ to have my brakes serviced (brakes needed a fluid flush). I was told that I needed to replace my brake master cylinder prior to the service that was needed. I discovered, as I was preparing to replace the master cylinder, I had noticed the cover panel under the hood of my Lexus IS250 had a very distinctive crack. When I returned to the shop I mentioned this to the service representative. To shorten the story Big O made it right. They ordered a replacement part. Not only did they compensate me but they did not charge me for the fluid flush. Thank you Big O! I have found that the staff is very customer service oriented. read more

We had a double blowout on our travel trailer halfway to Roosevelt Lake on a Friday. I called Big O because they were the closest shop. Told them what happened and they said they would have the tires waiting for us when we got there. Got there at noon and they had our tires ready is 7 minutes. 5 minutes to load us up and pay and we were back down the trail to reinstall on our TT. Not really sure what some of the bad reviews are about! We ran over a nail that popped our tire through globe 5 miles from their shop around 5:30 AM They ended up opening their doors around 6:30 AM and even though they don't actually open til 8 AM they still saw us early and took care of us at 7 AM! We were out of there in 30 minutes and they were extremely friendly and very helpful! Don't pass this place up because of other people's bad experiences, because ours was great. read more

Last Thursday my wife and I were traveling through Globe while heading up north for a weekend camping trip when we lost the bearings and hub assembly on our 5th wheel toy hauler. We were stranded and weren't sure what we were going to do. After calling several local repair shops with no luck, I called Big-O tire shop and advised them of my situation. They advised they could help us. Once I figured out how to limp my trailer down to them, we were happily greeted by their team. We would like to give a special thanks to Rick for taking the time to drive three hours to locate parts for our trailer! We appreciate the above and beyond customer service and we felt the staff treated us like family! Very happy and impressed with their customer service and their service overall!! I came in with the tire light on, coming from a long trip- I sort of panicked. They tended to me right away and I sat on their nice recliner chairs and waited. Right away, they found it was a nail and got it fixed. So thank you again for helping me out! We were driving a small Mazda Miata on a remote road to Pinetop and rain over a big rock on the road that wiped out the two left front tires. After getting a flat bed to take us back to Globe , we landed in the Big O Tire business. The Manage Anthony Avalos came to our rescue. We worked with his boss in the valley to get a second set of tires up to the shop and by the end of the day we were back on the road instead of held up in a hotel room until the next day. We even got a loaner car to go out to lunch for most of the waiting. He turned a lemon day into lemonade . His boss also helped Anthony make it all happen. Great people ! read more

On our way to Roosevelt lake for a weekend fishing trip and family fun. We stumble upon a problem which lead to both of our boat trailer tires separating which were fairly new and less than 2 years old. So we mangled to limp into the town of Globe with one spare tire on and the other about to rip apart, we located Big O Tires. As we were coming up to the store which was packed full of cars we could not pull into the parking lot (it was really small and if your towing you better think twice) and managed to park across the street at a near by deserted lot. So rather than unhooking the trailer and then connecting the boat and driving down there, I made a phone call and a lady by the name of Tanisha answered and I asked if she had any trailer tires in stock in which they did and gave me a great quote of 160 for 2 tires out the door mounted, balances and new valve stems. I asked if they were busy and she said they were and could fit me right in asap. So instead i jacked the trailer up and took the loose tires down to them and they had me in and out in less than 30mins.. Great service and excellent work! I was very satisfy with their line of work and for taking care of me asap. Big thanks to Tanisha for getting me right in. As i was waiting for the tires to get done I notice that they carry a lot of other brand tires ranging from Goodyear, Bfg, mud terrains tires and many more to choose from. So if your around Globe or stuck in a situation and either if its tire,shocks or general mechanical issues don't hesitate to give them a try.. I drove to Globe on a day trip from Phoenix. After lunch, I discovered that one of my tires was well below the recommended air pressure. Anthony, the manager, had one of his guys check out my tires and fill them all with air on the spot, even though they were very busy. When I went in to pay the bill, he said that there would be no charge. Fantastic service! If I lived in Globe, this would be my tire store of choice. read more

We bought BF Goodrich tires at this location. Paid for the extended warranty which allowed a prorated replacement. The sidewalls on one tire failed and the others had the same cracks and would fail. Calling the owner he insisted, without seeing the tire, we drove over something causing the flat. He also at first said the tires were overused or abused, then said they were under used due to the low mileage. It was very clear the sidewall failed. We sent pictures and a video for this owner to review. He said he would call us back. He still has not. We would have to drive from NW Phoenix to Globe or AJ, on bad tires still under warranty, so he could look at it. This is because Big O locations do not work together. The Phoenix location we went to would not help. We were also told there was no report or recall from BFG so our prorate would only cover $25 per tire replacement. We called BFG and they made arrangements for us to have the tire looked and then gave us $200 per tire. We took our truck to Discount Tire at Metrocenter. They quickly and professionally took care of the situation and treated us like people. So biggest take on this is Big O doesn't work together or follow up. Discount Tire does. I only gave one star because at least Big O answered the phone. read more

Fast service but cost me $400 and didn't fix the problem. Had a slow leak, got new tires, still have a slow leak. The kicker was that they promise service at any Big O Tire if there's a problem -- I went to the big o tire in Safford and they were the worst. I had to wait for them to finish sweeping the floor before they would talk to me. Then they scheduled me in at a much later time. I ended up leaving and paying for another tire shop. read more

Put my car in for front& rear brakes,oilchange And 4 new tires -- bill came to $1000++ . Break job seemed really high compared to others advertised rates . When I asked if there was any sort of price break, or coupon deal, they basicly laughed in my face. Then sent me home with a sheet of coupons they could have applied to my services. We soon noticed an annoying " rattel "in our break system that no one could figure out .our dodge dealership finaly found a "breakclip" had never been put on, and now our brakes need redone after just one year. They ( the dealership)also said 2 of the tires we bought just 30,000 miles ago are already worn out ! POOR PRODUCTS & sarcastic SHODDY SERVICE . Call AAA and get towed away if you must ! Yesterday I drove my 96 year-old mother and a friend up to the peak of the Pinal Mountains. Right at the top I noticed an error light that indicated a problem with tire pressure. We drove (VERY carefully) down the mountain and were referred to the Big O Tire Store in Globe, Arizona. The staff at Big O was nothing short of wonderful. They checked out my car immediately and told me one tire was not reparable. They didn't have a tire for my Lexus SUV in stock, but they put the spare on for us. They reassured me that the other tires were ok. They were professional, kind, and helpful and even washed my rear window, which had been covered with dust from the trip down the mountain. I tried to pay, and they told me there was no charge--NO charge for half an hour's worth of service. We were in and out and back on the road in about 30 minutes, and they didn't ask for a penny. We had a slow leak on an Airstream trailer tire, the staff helped us park the trailer and evaluated the tire quickly. It couldn't be fixed so we replaced the tire and they did it all while we waited. Was out here visiting family. Going against what neighbors shared, as I am a long time Big O customer. I still sent my grandpa here to drop off my tire to get patched. They tell him he needs to get a new tire. Just as the neighbors had warned. He picked up the tire and gave it back to me. Took it to my Big O in Riverside, Ca and they patched it no problem. I was a terrible customer, coming in the shop 7 minutes before closing time. All I needed was some air in my tires, or so I thought. The gentleman who so graciously helped me noticed I had a screw in my rear tire. I said I'd come back later when they were open to have it fixed but he insisted he could go ahead and fix it for me then. So impressed! I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at this place. I called on a Tuesday morning and got Anthony on the phone and asked for trailer tires on a boat trailer. I had to pick a newly purchased boat up from Roosevelt and haul it back to Tucson. Only problem was, the tires were obliterated. Anthony told me he had new stock arriving next day in the size I needed. I called Anthony first thing Wednesday to confirm he had the tires and he set them aside for me. I ended up sitting in construction for an hour and a half on the way up due to highway paving and was late to the time I had told Anthony I would arrive. When I arrived he had the tires ready and a crew of three guys ready to hop on the job. I WAS IN AND OUT IN 15 MINUTES. 15 MINUTES. When is the last time you were in and out of a tire joint in under an hour? Doesn't happen! Anthony knew I was already behind and made it happen. I work for a large tractor dealer in the state and strive to find people that can make things happen like this! My family bought four new tires from the Big O Tires in Globe, AZ today, March 24, 2016. After leaving we had a accident in our Toyota 4 Runner. I was with my wife that is eight months pregnant and our 2 year and one year old babies. Driving down the highway in Globe, AZ the front left tire dropped off the truck and then our entire front end smashed to the ground. We were able to pull over before we crashed into anyone else thankfully. My wife called the Big O Tires in Globe as soon as it happened at 5:25 pm, she spoke to the manager and told him what had happened and that we were stranded, 85 miles from home. When he arrived he immediately walked over to the tire and said well your front axle broke, it's not our fault. Even seeing my pregnant wife and two babies he did not even ask if we were okay. All he said was that it was nothing that was their fault and he wasn't going to do anything. I told him that no it is not a coincidence our tire fell off our truck when we just bought new tires from them, that our front end broke when the tire fell off and the truck smashed to the ground. The truck that was behind us pulled over with us and also saw what had happened, gave us their phone number to be a witness. The manager finally said he would tow it to the Big O shop there but he was not going to fix any damages and would contact us tomorrow. He did not help us get home or offer to help us stay in Globe for the night, since now we have to someone get back to where our truck is. We are extremely dissatisfied with the service, he showed no regard for our family, the damages to our only vehicle, or the fact that we were stranded, we had just spent $435 dollars on new tires (we do not have money, we are a poor family with one vehicle that are already struggling to just get new tires to be safe and now we don't even have our vehicle at all). read more

One place that I have always felt comfortable taking my cars too is the Big O Tires in Globe, I don't currently live in Globe but have family up there so we spend a lot of time up there. They always treat me well and have an attentive staff that never feel pushy. As someone who knows enough about cars it always is nice when you know you are dealing with someone who is honest when working with your vehicle. I've taken our cars to this location because of that trust factor, we've received different work here including our AC, brakes and getting new tires (obviously). There is also a Shell Lube next door that have extremely quick service for getting your oil changed at a good price. Even while we have waited at the Big O there is always someone there making sure you feel comfortable or turning on the tv for the kids. This business continues to be a gift from Heaven for someone like me who isn't getting a new car every year and likes to squeeze every last mile out of my car. The reasonable prices, friendly staff and most importantly how the car feels after they are done is why we have made this our go-to shop for all our car repair and upgrading needs. read more

I am actually surprised with the service at this tire shop! They were advertising a $16.95 oil change special with tire rotation so I figured I would give them a try. They got me right in for my oil change and tire rotation very quickly, but while rotating my tires they did a "multi point" inspection that was free with the special and found my brakes were almost metal to metal. And said my brakes were too thin to "cut" or "machine" so I had to get new rotors. Long story short they got me back on the road safely with no other issues and now when I hit the brakes it stops all smooth. All this time I guess my rotors were "warped" cause they were too thin and they got hot and I thought it was a tire balance issue. They saved me from a dangerous brake problem and actually solved a problem for me that I had been trying to solve incorrectly. Heck I guess that's whey they are the Professionals.
