I want anybody who's planning on doing business with to be very cautious. They might be good at changing oil that's still to be determined but indefinitely ownership for when they break your stuff and some rings on my truck broken by them and it took them 2 1/2 months to own up to the mistake. Have a friend that went in there and got charged for oil filters and never got them changed. Be careful of doing business with Cedar city big old, I will never do business with them again. read more

11/10/2025. I went to Big O Tires today for an alignment and tire rotation. When I left my vehicle with them I had my Marine Corps hat on the dashboard. In the week I have owned this hat I have driven with it on the dash and it has never moved or fallen. When they were done with the service I returned to my vehicle and found that my hat was on the dirty floor of the front passenger seat. This is a brand new hat that was gifted to me for the Marine Corps birthday. After inspecting my hat I found that there were black fingerprints on the top and underside of the bill. A large thumbprint was on the right side of the top of the bill and some prints under as if this person purposely picked up my hat and put it on the ground. I would understand if the hat was obstructing the mechanic's view and needed to be moved, but putting my hat on the floor and not even the passenger seat is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. It is my understanding that the employees are not supposed to touch belongings in the customer's vehicles. And the worst part is that today is the Marine Corps birthday and I will always remember the disrespect and unprofessionalism that this individual showed today. After contacting the manager he asked that I bring the hat in for him to see the dirty fingerprints. I'm not going to waste my time going back there. Bottom line, Big O Tires is employing an inconsiderate individual and I'm truly disappointed in their work ethic and customer service. read more

My family and I were headed back to Las Vegas from Brian Head when we noticed a major gash in our front driver side tire. The truck was rumbling and the tire was starting to fall apart. It was about 4:30pm on the 3rd of July and we called these guys and let them know what was going on. They calmed my nerves and told me to just bring the truck over and they will fix it. We were nervous because of how late it was and how busy it probably would be in the shop. When I pulled up, the manager came out and checked the tire and asked me to pull the truck around back so they can get it replaced. I was so satisfied with the service that I asked if they could go ahead and replace all four tires (might as well). After waiting maybe 40 minutes, the truck was finished with all new tires. I could now head home with my family and trailer with no worries at all. This place is amazing! Good friendly service still exists. Thanks team! read more

We were in desperate need and these folks wouldn't even come out to take a look. While traveling with our motor home, we were having a problem with one of our rear tires with a leaking valve stem. We called ahead and told them what the problem was, manager says if we are still here they'd help us out. Yeah, there were 4 guys still working and pretty much ignored me. I went in and talked to the manager and he seemed pretty put off with me even being there. They said they couldn't help, one guy even came out and moved the valve stem around which made the leaking worse. Long story short....made it to St George after calling the manager at CMC and he said he'd personally take care of us. He stayed an hour and a half past closing, got our leak taken care of in 20 mins and was very understanding of our problem. Big o should be called Big Zero I spent 42 years in the service industry doing refrigeration. My customers were my income, it didn't matter how long I worked that day, how far I had to drive or that I'd have to leave home as soon as I got there. They could count on me being there for them. These folks were just worried that it was quitting time. Well, I'll never use that company ever again. read more

When on a socially-distanced road trip from California to Utah for the New Year long weekend, we encountered a flat tire when near Bryce Canyon NP at around noon on the last day of our trip. Though we got the flat replaced by the spare tire, there was not a single tire repair shop in the vicinity that was open on that fateful Saturday to fix the flat tire. Since we had to drive back to California the same day, and we could only drive about 300 miles on the spare, we used Google Maps to locate and call tire repair shops within a 200 mile radius in the direction of home. Most places were closed or were about to shut shop for the weekend before we would've reached, and we started getting worried that we'd hit a dead end. That's when we stumbled onto the listing for Big O Tires, which was 72 miles away in Cedar City, UT, and luckily they answered our call and confirmed that they were open till 6 PM! Hurray! We drove slowly on the spare tire to Cedar City, and reached Big O just after 5 PM. Cameron at the front desk promptly collected our details, and, within a few minutes, Austin was came to the parking lot to take the car for repairs. There was ample space inside to wait amidst the tires, even some chairs to sit on (in case you are tire-d!), and we also took the chance to top up our water bottle using the water dispenser and to freshen up in the clean restrooms. Austin was back with our car key within 15 minutes! When I went to the front desk to settle the bill, Cameron simply handed me the invoice, and wished me a happy new year, without even asking for my credit card! I checked the invoice and was shocked to see that the total amount was $0 for the flat repair and for replacing the spare tire with the fixed tire! I double checked with Cameron if this was correct, and, with a twinkle in his eye (and surely a smile behind his mask), he said that this was on them and again wished me a happy new year! Happy new year with a Big Oh indeed! So, we left a cash tip for Austin and drove back to CA feeling happy and grateful about the kind people that we randomly end up meeting in life. Needles to say, our fantastic experience at Big O ensured that the flat tire wasn't the least thing that we remembered about our vacation, and that our year started on a high despite it! read more

The manager was rude about it. I was told it would take at least 4 hours to get to and I should come back another time. I noticed they had an idle bay for lack of help. That was the last time I went. I was just passing through Cedar City, early on in my road trip my tire pressure light came on. Despite my efforts I struggled to get a correct read on the actual pressure let alone get them to the correct pressure. I stopped by the shop on a Saturday It took me 5 minutes to explain my issue and them about 3 minutes to have me back on the road!! All free of charge. What more could a girl ask for!! **DO NOT GO HERE** The tire pressure sensor light came on in my car. I stopped at Big'O'Tires (since Midtown Tire had a 3 hour wait), in Cedar City, to get a puncture in my tire patched up. After the service was done, I was told by a manager (Cameron) that "the puncture was to small to charge for service." No invoice, no receipt. It should have been a red flag for me that I got my tire serviced for free. So, being naive, I believed the gentleman and went on my way. I did not even check the tire (MY FAULT!). Fortunately for me, I did not have to drive the car very often in those two weeks. My tire pressure light came on again and so my husband I assumed it was the sensor. We took the car to the Toyota dealership in St. George to get it fixed. We received a call from Toyota Service asking us to go back where the cars were being serviced. Once we arrived, I was asked exactly what service I received from Big"O'Tires. I told them exactly what the manager told me when I had the "patch work" done. He, as well as the mechanic (I did not get his name! Very helpful and nice as well), informed m]e that no patch was done to my tire. Instead, my tire had been filled with beading seal, due to the whole inside beading of my tire missing. (PICTURES ADDED) . To my surprise, I was very upset. The "sealant" looked like glue on my tire on both sides of the tire. My tire looked as if my tire was ripped apart. Had we continued to drive the car, the higher the risk of the tire to be blown off the rim. Seeing as I didn't pay for service, I was scared Big'O was not going to have me in their system. So I called and asked if I was still in their system and what service they have listed under my name. Again, I was speaking with the manager Cameron. He said "Yes we do have you in and the service of your flat tire being fixed." I never had a flat tire! I'm just glad they have me registered in that day. He then asked if I wanted to schedule another service, to which I replied no. I then explained to him what Toyota service found. I explained that the sealant looked like glue, to which he corrected me Immediately stating "It is not a glue, it is a sealant." Ok... Regardless of the proper name, the tire looks awful and it is extremely unsafe to drive. He then begins to tell me that Toyota is merely trying to sell me tires that I probably don't need. So, I pass the phone off to the gentleman at Toyota Service to explain what he found to Cameron himself. As soon as I pass of the phone, Cameron says "Ok, how much is this going to cost me?" Wow. That is a wonderful way to deal with the problem your business caused in the first place. Cameron did not want to help with our tire situation. I did not ask for money, all I asked for was an explanation as to why my entire tire was covered in "sealant" and I was lied to as to what service was done to my car. Cameron "highly suggested" that I instead drive my car to the closest Big'O to get my tire fixed. Of course, I refused. I already put my car at risk with Big'O and was not stupid enough to do it again. Cameron's solution was to call the Big'O in St.George and have a replacement Sumo Kumho tire delivered to Toyota. While I appreciate the replacement, it does not take away the fact that my tires were left horrendous. I have since called Big'O corporate and explained my situation and they will be taking care of these issues firsthand. I, nor my family, will be setting foot in another Big'O. read more

They got my car right in to check out the problem. They even gave me and my family a ride to our hotel we booked for the evening. About a year ago I took my Toyota Tundra in for a oil change. I brought it home only to find the next morning a oil spot the size of a dinner plate on my garage floor. I took my car back and was almost treated indifferently about the error and Cameron the manager never bothered to even apologize about the mistake. Fast forward to yesterday, April 3rd. I brought my truck in again for an oil change and told him, (Cameron again) that I might need my tires balance because I went into a ditch. He told me I might need an alignment, I responded by saying the truck isn't pulling at all, but rather the steering wheel is vibrating. His response was a smirk and a grin, like I didn't know what I was talking about. So, I told him, go ahead check the alignment. Two hours later I pick up my truck and surprise! it didn't need an alignment, there was just some mud on the undercarriage. I drove the truck to St. George, then home later, only to come out and (yep you guessed it) more oil on my garage floor. That's twice in the past year Big O in Cedar City hasn't tightened my drain plug properly. I'll never get my oil changed there again. Every time I come in to Big O, I feel as though I'm not welcomed and treated not as a vauled customer by Cameron. I can say that when coming in today, to fix another oil leak, (oh the air filter cover wasn't put on properly) James treated me very nicely. After the first oil change problem, I decided to buy tires from Big O in St. George. Hope your experience is better than mine. Check your drain plugs! (FLAT OUT LII needed 4 tires taken off my truck to have new tires put on the rims then balanced and put back on. I had a very clear discussion with the mechanic at the front desk that I wanted (tape on weights) not hammer on weights. Because the hammer on weights kept falling off. He said I understand and we will do that. After I picked my truck up he told me here are your keys and I made sure the guys put on the tape weights. I thanked him and trusted he was telling the truth. I then checked my tires and they just put the hammer on weights on the inside of the rim where I could not see them unless crawling under the truck. We were visiting the area staying at a nearby RV park and noticed our truck tire seemed to have a slow leak. Stopped by Big O tire in Cedar City Utah and they got our truck in right away. Turned out we had a nail in our tire. Big O repaired it quickly and did not charge us!! They also "re-learned" our tire monitoring system (The readings were reversed). Tire fixed, TPMS reset correctly, fast friendly service and again amazingly all this at NO CHARGE. We really appreciate the kind gesture and help especially being from out of town. So after i read this review i started paying close attention to what was going on. The manager was awesome and down to earth. Even though the job was alittle harder then they expected, the tire guys and manager remained calm and continued to check on me to give me up dates. And the price was practically a steal. Developed a wobble in my front end on a road trip, they diagnosed It to a separating tread on one of my front tires They had two of the heavy duty truck tires my vehicle requires and changed them out in less than one hour. They also rebalanced my rear tires, diagnosed and cleared a check engine light for free! DO NOT GO HERE! I was having issues with my brakes. In fact, I had to press the brake pedal halfway down for the car to even begin slowing down! I took it here, to Big O tires and told them this and was hoping they would look into it. They CHARGED ME $400 to change out the brakes and rotors because that was their best guess. I know this is a situation that is trial and error. And I wasn't upset that they did this and it didn't fix the problem. What I was upset with, was that they gave me the keys and told me it was perfect! He even told me the master mechanic test drove it and said it was exactly how it was supposed to be Who am I to argue with a master mechanic? Well, the pedal didn't change one bit, and I called them back the same day about it. They told me 'no, the brake is how it is supposed to be. It's supposed to have a little give in the pedal before the car slows down.' I insisted that this is not how the pedal was for over 6 years. He continued to reiterate to me that I didn't know how a brake pedal was supposed to be. To remedy the situation, I took my car to MCO tires. They looked it and found the problem in the brake booster and brake master cylinder. Once they fixed it, they test drove it and realized something wasn't right still. BIG O TIRES DIDN'T CLEAN THE ROTORS BEFORE THEY CHANGED THEM A FEW DAYS PRIOR!!! They couldn't even do the job I paid them to do properly. AVOID THIS HORRIBLE BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS! read more

Big O Tires is first and foremost a sales organization. Their goal is to SELL you something. Whether you need it or not. They need to make sure they meet their sales quotas and will do most anything to accomplish that goal. If you're looking for a tire store that cares about you and is services oriented (not sales oriented), you'd be better to go most anywhere else. read more
