I believe his name was John, wouldn't let me wait for an oil change, it didn't make a difference to me if it was and hour, two hours, or even three hours, he wasn't having it and hung up. I refilled it and am monitoring the situation. Nearly 24 hours later I have received nothing back. Friendly service and honestly my oil change didn't take as long as expected. Unfortunately when I got in the car I noticed the tech had dripped oil on my brand new seat covers (see photo), and left the steering wheel very greasy as well... Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Went here since I don't have the tools to rotate my tires. Took around an hour and a half. They told me I should get my air filter cleaned, but I already did 5k miles ago and checked it after the service was done. Filter is a KN & it was fine. What really gives this place only one star is that I was told my brakes were on it's last legs with metal nearly touching metal. I checked the brakes and compared them to my replacement pads I had at home, there was 0 chance that my brakes were touching metal to metal to the rotors. I got the brakes re-evaluated the next day at a friend's shop who told me I had 45% life left on my brakes. Thanks for the $240 quote for dishonest service. I don't even trust that they put the right oil in my car. Will have to check the color of the oil in 3k miles to see if it was the synthetic blend I purchased or if it was swapped with conventional. I went to Big O Tires today to get an oil change. I had a 50% off oil change coupon that also included a free brake inspection and a free tire rotation in the deal. They did not honor the free brake inspection and they did not honor the free tire rotation. They told me on my paper that the car needed four new tires and an alignment. The car does not need 4 new tires. It might need one tire. Maybe. They must think I'm stupid because I'm a female. The guy that check me out when it was time to leave tried to blame not getting the free brake inspection on them being short-handed. I wonder if they've ever heard of false advertisement. They didn't even call me when my car was done I had to get up and go outside and look to see what was up and then go back in there and ask them what was going on. My car was sitting outside at least ten or fifteen minutes. With this kind of service I don't know if they even actually changed the oil filter and put new oil in! read more

BEWARE!! I went to this Big-O tires for the first time a few months ago. It was my first time at a Big-O for an oil change, but not my first time at a large chain for an oil change. I had a Groupon for a synthetic oil change and brought my Audi in for that. After an hour, the technician came in and told me that my car would not start. I was shocked as this was a fairly new car that had just been checked by the dealer the week before. He said that the engine smoked and then would not start. I had the vehicle towed to the Audi dealership where the technicians there found that the Big-O guys drained the transmission fluid and not the engine oil, tried to fill the oil, and start the vehicle. This left twice the normal amount of oil in the engine and no transmission fluid. The engine was completely ruined. I NEVER thought that could happen at a business that mostly changes oil. Anyway, the owner of this Big-O franchise was told by Audi that vehicle needs a new engine at the tune of $40,000. He refused to put in a new engine and got a used one instead. After more than 2 months without a car, they finally returned my car. Oh, and missing the spare tire, one of the keys, and a new transmission problem. They also refuse to pay for my loss of use of the car for over 2 months and the loss of value with a salvaged engine in it. So, it's off to court we go. Lesson learned: do NOT go to these guys.
