They were less than other bids we got from other companies for the exact same Owen Corning roof system (vents, ice shields, etc) and were more responsive, personal, and got it done faster. I see Chris around town both working and running errands and it feels good knowing that investing in small local businesses rather than some huge contractor with a bunch of different crews.

Prestige Roofing removed the entire roof and replaced it and agreed to do the correct roofing…read morematerials and procedure. I stayed to watch this work and caught him doing a number of short cuts and avoided important techniques needed. His workers were from Craigslist and not experienced. There was new ones showing up frequently. He took on another job in the middle of my job and split his time between them. Because the employees were not employees OR independent contractors, and they were not experienced, it was a very bad situation. He had problems with the Dept of Labor for not paying his employees and having workers comp. They filed a complaint against him. When I brought up the work not completed when he came to get payment, he stood outside screaming about suing me, pounding on my door. I hired a licensed roofer to inspect the roof and correct the things left undone or done incorrectly. I sent him the payment from our contract minus the money that I paid to finish his work and fix what was done interiorly. I was under the impression that he was out of business but evidently not. Avoid this company at all costs.

The crew were very professional, mannerly, and fun to work with. Their attention to the clean up was superb. They had just finished Bigfork school, so our little rental was a nice change.
