I used their registry for my wedding in 1997, and their Egyptian cotton towels look as beautiful as they did when I got them. Target's clothing is stylish and affordable. You can get the same looks you see in Elle, Marie Claire and Vogue without the designer price tags. Their maternity wear is especially pretty and practical. When I was pregnant all the maternity-wear stores had deep vee neck tops and capri pants, with their only "work safe" garments in ugly prints and cheap, baggy fabrics. I came to Target and found fashion-forward pieces that were career-appropriate and didn't make me look like a fat, tacky frump. Target's cosmetics department has all the brands you'll see at drugstores and Ulta at competitive prices. Same for the fragrances; you'll find your fave celebrity name brand. Appliances? Get your Kitchenaid here. The cookware is good quality and lasts. Target is one-stop shopping for all your needs. Forget the mall - head for the red!

By their logic, I should never be able to order a glass of wine at a restaurant when my daughter is with me. Does Walmart really believe that only childless people drink wine? We came in on Wednesday to purchase paint for our kitchen cabinets and discussed the various types of paint with the associate, who knew exactly what we needed. He asked if we were going to paint that day or if the job could wait, because paint and supplies were going on sale on Friday. This was deeply appreciated because we're retired seniors. The two gentlemen on duty Friday mixed our paint, helped us select the best rollers and brushes. We were able to afford top-of-the-line products thanks to this fantastic staff. Apparently I should have been desperate enough to accept anything. I was upset from lack of sleep so I raised my voice when the sales rep finally called and she informed me she was not going to send anybody to retrieve the mattress. Although I received a refund for the bed, I was charged for the mattress. I do not trust Ashley Furniture.
