The two older women at the counter denied being there when I purchased the stuff. I pulled up the date and they magically remembered. The tag was on their invoice and they said they just never charged me. Told me to pay for it, which I did and tried to charge me more than what it was priced at. I was nice about it but after with the rude customer service and inability to acknowledge their mistake they lost a good customer. Looks like I'm thrifting elsewhere.

Each "booth" is stuff owned by a different seller, and so it's much like going to an antique show, but without the seller behind the desk to haggle with. Totally fun to browse, and who knows- you may find that special little gift or knick-knack that fits into your home. The second floor is sparse - and creepy. There's one room up there that looks like it's been forgotten. Looks like a "panic room" to me! What did this old store used to be anyhow? But it's a great place - you can kill a lot of time here if you like looking for things with character.

They had one older lady running the entire self check out and front of the store by herself. No lanes were open, so everyone had to go to self check out. I could tell she was overwhelmed and it wasn't her fault, but I had to wait over 20 mins to even get her attention because she had so many people to get to. Again, this isn't a problem on her, but should reflect on lack of poor management and staffing. It's summer time now, so I'm not seeing how they only have one person running the entire front of the store. It's not fair to them or the customers who have to wait just to be noticed for help.

We eat there, visit a shop or two and take a walk around the waterfront and the Village shops and leave. We are frequent visitors. Suddenly today our cars were being towed!! The tow truck driver said we were parked there for more than 2 hours. We could pay $75 cash to get the car released from the tow truck or $190 something it it gets towed. He pointed out several signs which said parking for Village Landing customers (which we were.) In TINY writing the sign says for no more than 2 hours. We had never noticed the tiny writing before and since the weather was so nice we had stayed 15 minutes over the two hours. How can they expect us to dine, shop and stroll the marketplace in a two hour time frame? They have lost our business and loyalty. There are plenty of other places in the area to visit and shop. Beware of the Village Landing Marketplace!

All of the things were priced ridiculously high, to the point that some of them were better off being bought new. I saw items from the dollar store new with tags being labeled for 4-5 dollars. Where is the value there? Whoever is marking the jewelry needs to be fired. The smallest pair of earrings I hardly saw were under 3.99, and they were child's crap jewelry. How terrible that they get all of these things for free and try to price gouge their customers. On top of all of this, the staff I interacted with were very unfriendly and unhelpful. I approached the jewelry counter around 6:20 and I was immediately told that the counter closes a half hour before the store does. I said ok but then a few moments lady the rude associate said "did you hear me?" I finished up and said I was going to walk around the rest of the store and she proceeded to tell me in a rude tone that "you know we close at seven, right? ( yes I do) and I said yes. She just responded with "like in 25 minutes?" I said I know again. The sales Associate, Debby was unhelpful and rude. Will not be returning. What a shame such a great store has gotten so poor.
