Overpriced merchandise that is not great quality. Loved big lots when they started years ago but they aren't a close out store anymore.

Great inventory and friendly staff. This is where I come to find books and DVDs. I regularly donate…read moreto this organization as well. I feel that the items are fairly priced as the money goes to a good cause and supports local people in need.

This was one of the places I'd take my Mom and it seemed like you could always find something you…read moremay want or need. It's a pretty decent sized place to go and carry furniture as well. Lately when we stop it seems as if they are getting way out of wack with their prices. We noticed for awhile now someone is getting crazy pricing things. They seem to start off with $2.95 no matter if it even came from the dollar tree. I've seen items that were originally cheaper than their asking price. Not only are you paying more for most items they ask when you check out if you want to round up to the next 1$!! I personally would not mind if prices were cheaper. They do however have one tag they discount I think weekly. Most the time your Lucky to find one or 2 items that color. Of course we know everything is donated so why be greedy asking such high prices. I wouldn't even stop here but it's close enough to my Moms house so it's easy to stop in. Ive even been here when a few people have made the comment they were too expensive and walked out. There is plenty of parking . The donation area you pull on the side to the rear of the building. The help is usually nice to deal with. I guess we will stop coming as often and maybe someone will take over the pricing and the word will get around fast, right now best to go if your looking for something in particular you might but get lucky.

I dropped off my grandmother's Lindie Star ring on April 5, 2023. I was told it would take two to…read morethree weeks to size it an 11.5. The ring was made out of 10K white gold, which Mick, the jeweler, was happy about as it was easier to work with than silver. It all went downhill from there. After waiting to hear from them for two weeks, I started calling again. I called on April 27, June 5, June 6, June 7, June 8, June 9, and June 14 and left messages at each call but did not receive a response. I went into the store on June 16 and spoke with the owner. He said AT&T was having issues with their phones and to call him directly on his cell phone. The ring wasn't ready but it was "in progress." He said it would be a few more days and they'd call me when it was ready. Again, it kept rolling downhill. I called July 25 and left a message that I don't care if the ring was done or not, I was coming in to pick it up the next day to take it somewhere else. Mick called me back and said it would be finished by the end of business that day. I told him I'd be in Milton on July 26 at 10:00 a.m. I went to the store and Mick told me he'd need another 30 minutes. When I got the ring, it was too large, horrible craftsmanship, and the wrong metal. I paid the full $200.00, got in my car, burst into tears, and went home. I just left the Jewelers Trade Shop in Pensacola. They were horrified at the state of my ring. It requires half of the ring to be cut off because they cannot separate out the wrong metal that was used. I paid $245.00 for it to be fixed correctly. I cannot dissuade you from going to Santa Rosa Jewelers loud enough.

He was a gentleman at his home and insisted I stop at his store to get it fixed. Few days pass and I finally get the chance to stop by the Jewelry shop, I walked in the store and it took at least 10 minutes for Mick to come out the back. He comes out smelling like cigarettes and alcohol and apologizes, no big deal I thought. I proceed to explain to him about the watch and he starts cutting me off as he's examining the watch. I got a little surprised but kept cool, he gives me this story of how he has to order the battery that will take days to get. No problem I expected that but then he tells me how much it costs and that I'll have to leave the watch over night. I tell him due to the nature of my job I'm not sure how long I'll be in Milton so I can't leave it here. He proceeds to get angry and starts yelling at me how I'm wasting his time and I should go somewhere else since I'm being a "cheap ass". Immediately I got upset and told him to screw himself and walked away. I hope this isn't how he treats his other customers, hopefully he can learn to control his temper next time around.
