    Wonder local gem…read more Books for both book lovers and the curious. There is an over abundance of old romance novels. Don't let that fool you. This store has insightful employees that can find something for everyone in the family. The young adult section is at the front of the store. Small gifts at the register. I'll never tire of 2nd hand book stores. New titles here too. Picked out 5 books for under $20 for my nephew. Support local.

This store is packed to the brim with all genres and authors. Prices range from 15$ to 3$ from what I saw when looking around. While it is 80% a secondhand book store, there was a wall of all new books and they had new releases as well including a Freida McFadden book that came out the exact day we visited the store. The newer books were the ones priced higher at 15-10$. My favorite thing about this book store was that they had printed lists next to the more popular authors that included the order of the books in their well known series. For example, next to Nelson DeMille's section of books, they had a printed list containing the order of books in the John Corey series which was so considerate and helpful - I didn't have to try to google it on my own, I could just refer to their lists! The front of the store contained some book marks and other knickknacks for sale which I enjoyed browsing. Overall, I'd highly encourage any book lover to visit the Book Rack. I can't wait to visit again!

We used…read moreto always spend LOTS of time at the Barnes and Nobles, Borders and independent bookstores of all day sizes. I miss those days! The store is nicely stocked with a little bit of the bookstore vibe of years past with categories of all kinds. They do have a big selection of children's books that include a rack of picture books and puzzles as well a section for young adults. There's not a lot of reference, DIY or self-help books but they've done pretty well with making a nice assortment of different genres available. They have a nice selection of discounted hard and paperback books, some audio books and assorted gifts. There's no coffee shop or couches to lounge in, no magazine or newspaper racks here, it's just books and that's okay with me. We bought a couple books and had a pleasant conversation with the very nice lady who was running the place all by herself. I'm a sucker for a good bookstore, and it's independently owned and operated, so what's not to like? Bottom line: it's clean, well organized and maintained with good prices. Recommended;

Book Warehouse, however, is like stepping into an independently owned store but with the selection and convenience of a chain. Their selection is large and faired, and while if you're looking for the current, hot reads you might be disappointed, their "mostly-recent" books are VERY cheap and they offer generous bundles.

This morning I asked about a specific book and was told they receive thousands of books and had no way of knowing if they had that specific title. No offer to help look for that book either. If you enjoy books, you can find nearly any genre here at the Book Exchange, with lots of books by the same authors like Stephen King, James Michener, J.D. Robb, Dan Brown, etc. I even found one of the two books that I have not read by Harold Robbins, I was thrilled. It's a large used book store but it is pretty unorganized with some of the aisles just lined with stacks of books but I felt right at home :-) But fear not, the very friendly lady that runs it knows where all of the books are, or it seemed ilkoke it, and she is happy to be your guide for your personal reading preferences, I like that! Hey, they have a pretty healthtly collection of vinyl records (LP's) and you can spend some time looking for that Rolling Stones or ELO record and take a walk down memory lane. They've got DVD movies & other miscellaneous stuff of interest as well Bottom line: There's old and new books alike for a great price and don't forget to take in your bag of read books and get a credit toward more. Used books are way cheaper and swapping makes it even more cheaper :-)
