(I did see one but it had empty boxes in it and I was told I couldn't use it -- that it's not for "store" use.) I was purchasing a number of smaller items and several large/awkward things such as a big bag of potting soil, a large pot, a bag of dog foo, and a big package of tp. I asked, not rudely, how I could get it all to my car and the cashier said, haughtily, that I would just have to make multiple trips. Ironically, I spent a bit of money in this store. I likely would have spent more if there had been a shopping cart and I hadn't been made to feel so unwelcome. if this store has a preferred customer base, I would have liked to have known I was unwelcome before I spent my money there. It was made abundantly clear when I was though and I won't be back.

I've worked at a DG before and it was way more torn up than this store with about half the foot traffic. Its a lot of work to manage at they keep it relatively together on a weekly basis. I will say that compared to Dollar Tree the pricing is a bit higher but there's also name-brand and higher quality items, so I suppose that's to be expected, especially in this economy. Overall, a very convenient location to stop for household stuff when I'm headed back across the CCC from the west-bank. Service was friendly and efficient.

A gentleman in a wizarding cloak working there took the courtesy to approach me and offer his assistance by taking my pile of stuff off my hands to save at the register. I asked him if he happened to know what is the crystal/stone in my pocket and without fail he told me it was sodalite and it helps bring intuition. Furthermore he told me that Mother Teresa would carry one and it helps to calm your mind. I was so confounded by his plethora of knowledge that immediately I felt that I was in the right store at the right time with the right sales associate. He even tried further to confirm this piece of information he imparted onto me and my friends in a book available at the store but even the book did not say anything about it. It wasn't until I got home and Googled it that it affirmed that the information he gave was indeed correct. His assistance did not stop there. He noticed I was wearing a hat and even though I did not ask for a hat, he picked one up for me and I tried it on. I put it on but I was not in love. He suggested tilting it which I did but still was not sold. It wasn't until he showed me exactly how to tilt it in a certain direction that I was floored but how spectacular he made me look by elevating my style.
