We picked 2 items and went to register - by the way there was no line as the store was empty. Cashier looks at the gift box of chocolate and other Christmas item, and states she needs the manager to approve. Manager then comes over to yell at us about customer reclamation project where he accuses every customer of moving merchandise to sales table. I'm sure everyone woke up the morning after Christmas to rush to Homegoods to move merchandise. We asked for them to call District Manager, at which point he again lectures us, but refuses to walk 25 feet to look at the sales table. In my opinion, the way he treated us is because of our race. Maybe it would be in the customers best interest to actually put clearance stickers on the clearance merchandise instead of blaming customers for them not doing their job. Incidentally, don't fall for their credit card - 34.99% interest rate is highway robbery, plus they offer no promotional financing for large purchases.

This Homegoods is NOT at all like my Homegoods... meaning it's not as crowded with merchandise (but…read morestill well-stocked), it's not as crowded with people, and things don't (necessarily) go in the blink of an eye. I was in town on an early Friday night, and the store was EMPTY. Friday late afternoon and early evening in my store is swamped because people want to see what's new. By the end of the day Saturday, whatever you wanted Friday and didn't get is gone! I saw a cabinet on Friday that I made myself a deal with -- if I came back after work Saturday afternoon and it was still there, I'd get it. Well, it was. So I did. Yay! There was second piece that I was eyeballing... it was waiting for a customer to pick up when I got back Saturday!

Recently visited this Target location and experienced customer service at a disappointing level. I…read morehave always enjoyed visiting this location, however today's visit involved a Manager on Duty that did not seem aware of the customer check out process during the day after Christmas shopping. I entered a check out service line and placed the items I wanted to purchase in the conveyor belt (there was only one person in front of me who was checking out). The Manager on Duty came over and spoke to the cashier about covering his break. Meanwhile, more customers entered the line behind me. After watching me place all of my items for purchase, the cashier tells me that she can't check me out because she has to go cover Guest Services. Her announcement was not loud enough for the customers (2-3 people) behind me to hear. This created a check out environment that included one cashier checkout line and the remaining registers were self checkout. The line volume increased and resulted in me leaving the store without making a purchase as I watched the manager on duty walk over and stand in Starbucks as customers looked confused about what happened to the previous checkout line. As someone with Manager on Duty experience in a high volume customer service environment, I realize the importance of awareness during busy time frames. I also understand the importance of not putting employees in situations that results in the loss of business. I hope that Target sees this review and takes a moment to understand how this incident affects the level of customer service that Target customers are accustomed to.

I'm not sure when this one was built in the area, but it looks to be on the newer side. Walking in it was welcoming and made it feel like it was going to be a simple stop. I walked to where the items were that I knew I was going to need. The one item that I was definitely looking for was an air freshener. I was happy to see that not only did they have them in stock, but many to choose from. Unlike other stores of the caliber. The biggest hold up here was the registers. Most people are ushered to the self checkouts. There were not many regular checkouts open. Not everybody knows how to use the self checkouts, so the ushering of the people here kind of made a bottleneck and backup.

Not only was she kind, but she went above and beyond to help this customer. Bravo! She stood out because she was incredibly professional and is a great example of how a manger should be! I wish there were more employees like her! A while later, as my family and I shopped the store, we asked for assistance from Janice Roberson as she was stocking shelves down an aisle. I asked her where I could find an item and she basically grunted and mumbled as she waved me and my kids away. I asked her to repeat herself and she told me she doesn't know and "every store is different" and shooing me in a direction, while not even pausing her task. She was outright rude and even my kids were shocked. Having been a manager in a major retail store, I understand there is a wide range of professionalism and lack there of. These two women show the extremes of the scale. The store was in good order, decently stocked (I understand Covid has caused some issues) and most employees were courteous and welcoming. The parking lot was clean as was the inside of the store. Keep up the good work!
