We also got a couple stuffed animals, a figurine for my daughter, a mug, a Christmas ornament, a magnet, and a couple different stickers. Prices aren't cheap -- we spent over $250! -- but the quality is nice and I wouldn't consider any of our items overpriced. We'll be back again next time we visit the island!

Why do I bother going into Ross Dress for Less stores? They are so depressing to me. The dressing room in this Bluffton, SC store looks like something in a 3rd world country. Some of the doors don't close, the mirrors are dirty, some of the lights are out, the floors are filthy. It's as if I don't matter to the Ross Executives who can change such things. Have they even stepped into this store? What must tourists from other states or even other countries think of us? I would be embarrassed to bring anyone into this place or any Ross for that matter. So I'm not. And to top it off the attitude of the cashier that checked me out was horrendous. No hello, No smile, No reply to my questions, No thank you. The store is called a "Factory House" because it's an outlet store for Under Armour. I visited this store looking for golf apparel. I'm not going to lie - Jordan Spieth looks great in Under Armour and even as a fully grown man, I've come to realize I'm still influenced by what the star athletes wear. The store is spacious and it was stocked with a decent selection of golf apparel. Since it's the wintertime, I was specifically interested in golf pants and golf beanies. This store had a nice inventory of golf pants in various attractive colors, styles, and fabrics. I liked the light and breathable yet durable and element-resistant materials the pants were made of. I also liked the semi-elastic waistbands which were very comfortable (almost too comfortable). I was able to find pants in my waist size, but not length (which isn't unusual because I'm short). An employee told me Under Armour has more size options online. To get an idea for Under Armour's fit and look on my body, I tried on some pants in my waist size in a fitting room. My girlfriend and I agreed the pants were too wide and baggy from the hip and butt down through the leg. I'd have to get them tailored to get the slim fit I was looking for. My old off-the-rack Gap straight fit khakis are slimmer fitting than the pants I tried on. That was disappointing, especially considering how well-fitted Jordan Spieth's pants are (I know he's a pro, but still). As for beanies, the styles offered were OK, but I didn't find one I really liked. The prices were average/reasonable and the employees were helpful enough. I would return in the future to browse their new stock.

This post may be…read morebiased and directed to Nike than the location or maybe it is the location but there are never good deals for women. You are better off buying at a store like Footlocker or the Nike website. Men generally have the best deals and discounts in addition to better clothes. It's always been like that, in my opinion. Shoes are a different story. You may be able to find decent shoes at a great price for both male and female. The staff was very helpful though from the moment you walk in.
