It has a great mix of departments all together in one place. Sections include makeup, clothing, home goods, a small furniture selection, a pet section, and a men's section, and more. The clothing selection is pretty big too. There are tons of options like dresses, long sleeves, short sleeves, coats, and a few skirts mixed in. The store almost feels like a perfect blend between Marshall's and HomeGoods. There isn't too much of any one category. They also have a seasonal section, although it was pretty picked over. One thing I always check when I'm here is the clearance on the end aisles. Honestly, every time I stop in I end up leaving with way more than I planned to buy.

Unfortunately on this most recent visit the dressing rooms were still closed and I was not willing to buy the items I looked at without trying them on, so I oddly left empty handed. This location (and others) I've notice always seem consistently understaffed. The long lines at the registers seem to be consistent. The staff have all been kind and polite, but I do wish they would more properly staff the checkout line. As always, selection is hit or miss, but it's worth it to catch a good find. I'm also always suckered into buying candles when I visit. tl;dr: Do: Expect some good deals to be found. Don't: Expect to be in and out quickly without waiting in line.

There is a clean parking lot with handicapped parking at the door. This store is like a small community Walmart. At the front of the store are several aisles with a nice variety of canned, prepared and snack food. The cooler and freezer doors are along the front wall. Here you will find your basic dairy, meal and frozen food and dessert items. In the back of the store is a well stocked cleaning, laundry and household fragrance area. There are also very nice household, greeting cards, infant, automotive and party supply areas. For children there is a toy aisle. Prices at Family Dollar are usually​ reasonable. I went there several nights ago for batteries. They sell a lot of batteries and the price of the store brand is very good. The employees are friendly and helpful. There is currently no grocery store in Northside so this store gets a lot of business.

I just had the most raciest experience I purchased a dress yesterday I went home showered and…read moreattempted to get dressed for my event except when I put the dress on it was a huge whole in the seam of the dress I promptly put the dress back in the bag with receipt so I could make the return once I entered the store I went straight to the register explained to the cashier that the dress was defective she had to get approval from her lead she stopped what she was doing looked up at me and told the girl not to accept my return and went back to what she was working on didn't examine the dress didn't speak to me didn't even really look at me nowhere on the receipt does it say tags are required for a return although I have them as well I will be speaking with the GM as well
