One of the reviewers 7 months ago complained about the $8 entry fee and $10 preferred parking fee. I don't know if all the facilities charge the same but we went to the BLD in Jurupa yesterday and the entry charge was $16. We paid $13 with the senior discount they gave us but that is still $5 more than the reviewer paid 7 months earlier.The preferred parking was $20 so basically the prices doubled from what they were 7 months before. One thing they should do is remove some of the preferred parking spots and repurpose them as additional disabled parking because there aren't enough disabled parking spots. I know there is a certain formula used to determine how many disabled spots a business or government entity must set aside per how many overall spots in the lot. That said adding some more tho not required would certainly have disabled people look at the company in a more positive light. We had to park near the main driveway entrance/exit then walk to the last field entrance to pay. From there we had to walk to the furthest field where our grandson was playing. My wife and I both use walkers and it was an especially difficult walk for me. Tho there would be no guarantee we'd find an empty added disabled spot there was a chance we would have. I understand it's all about the bottom line but companies need to think about the people who come to their facility and pay the money to enter and buy the food and drinks. If i could give ZERO stars i would. This place is ridiculous. I lost my debit card idk how so I was limited on what I can do. 3 games in 1 day. I don't have apple pay or any of that stuff just venmo as I've used it for my daughters softball for dues. But seriously. The person didnt stamp my hand the 1st time I was in that day. I went out to meet my husband to get my kods as he couldnt stay. When I tried getting back in the lady said you have to pay and i said I was just here i told the young blonde girl id be back and she didn't stamp me she said id be fine because she'd be here. Again I lost my debit card at winch that day so I had to pay again and I was $0.1 SHORT and they wouldn't budge! A mom with 4 toddlers there to support her oldest child. My husband left to go to do a job while at the field and he took the truck when he dropped them off to me. I finally figured it out and they tried making me manually entering my debit info and I wasn't going to do that so I found a way to activate a credit card I never once used just to pay the $0.1 cent. That's absurd guys really. I had cash. I had $500 in cash but no cash just card or apple pay like wth that's unacceptable. Came here to watch a softball tournament and just like most BLD, this location is no different. They do have a side with turf and another side without. The park seems clean enough and they do bag check upon entering as well. They have a snack stand area where you can purchase food and restrooms that are decently clean. If you have small children who aren't playing sports. There is also a playground area. read more

I visited Big League Dreams in Perris to watch family members play on a league team. It kind of sucks that each person has to pay to enter just to watch (and it's cash only! Who even carries cash anymore?), but I get it. If it was just open to any random person who wanted to visit, it wouldn't be as nicely kept as it is. This baseball stadium has a big playground, which is nice if you're visiting with children. Because let's be honest: Most children couldn't care less about baseball, or sitting still to watch a game as slow as baseball. So it's good that there's a place where kids can go so they're not crying and begging to leave. While I was there, I got a slice of pizza and a beer. The beers come in 9 ounces and 16 ounces. The pizza was just OK -- it tasted like it had been under the heating lamp for a while. But there are lots of other things on the menu, and the snack bar itself is huge and has lots of indoor seating with air conditioning. And as for the beer: They have domestic and craft beer on tap. I was only at this stadium for two hours, but my impression of it is that this is a safe and clean space to play. And it's definitely a lot more family-friendly than I had originally thought. read more

There's more caution tape than seating at the fields. One of the worst things is how long it takes to get the schedule out. With so many people sitting around in the office and people outside "checking" us in it could get done. We have only been here for fastpitch softball tournaments that use BLD parks for the games. I know others review the BLD parks based on other events local events, so know that is how we have attended BLD parks. Not sure where the bad rap is coming from, as I think it is a fairly solid facility overall. The fields are in great shape and raked after every game. They do have a couple turf fields, and they just ask that we do not use metal cleats. They do have temporary fences set up for 12u/14/16u fastpitch games, which is nice. They do tend to be on the flimsy side though. With the fences set up that allows our team to warmup in the outfield. Adults almost always have to pay $8 for the tournaments we attend, and you get a $1 token to use in the snack bar. They have ample parking, and you can even park on the side of the streets if it the lots get too full. The bar food is actually decent, although a little pricey. In particular we do like the pizza and fries, they are our go to. The full bar is also a nice addition, especially when we are here for 5-6 hours. They have 4-5 beers on tap, mixed drinks and shots if that is your thing. BLD is a nice place to play weekend softball/baseball games. read more

Play tournament hosted by DC tournament USSSA. Umpires does not know the rules! Coaches managing teams does not know the rules. Tournament calls for drop 5 bat to be use, however, a lot of teams were using drop 8 bat. When this issue was brought to the host, the host give you a big F**k you. They will take you money and said I don't care! This is wrong you are cheating the kids. "Big league dreams" more like big leauge SCAM! The field conditions are terrible! Extremely muddy rain or shine, missing grass patches. All the walls need painting wallpaper of the fake people in the stands is falling off. On a Sunday after we already paid to play in the tournament Big League Dreams charged 8.00 a person to get in, it use to be 1.00. This money is clearly not maintaining fees, its all profit for Big League Dreams. They dont take debit/credit cards so when you aren't prepared for this hefty price increase you'll have to use their atm machine that charges 3.00, go figure. Tables aren't wiped down between customer use and trash is left in stands overnight (as seen when arriving at 7am for an early game). I have been coming to these fields for years as a player and a coach now. The service everywhere is just horrible. To begin with it is a $12 charge for every adult each day they enter the facility. They were rude at the gate and would not let me in even though I was a coach all because I didn't have a card saying I was a coach. Everything at the snack bars are overpriced. I would assume with all the money they make they would still be providing water to the girls in the dugout but they have taken that out. The turf they added on the fields makes the dugouts so hot for the players yet BLD will not provide water anymore or even add water misters to the dugouts. Went to BLD this Sunday for a tournament. Staff is young and rude. Bartender had no idea what she was doing. Waited forever for a drink. Bathrooms were disgusting. It's hit or miss when I come here. Supposedly this is the newest in the Big League franchise. I've been to several and this is probably the nicest I've seen....more than likely because of the newness. Layout is similar to the rest with a large restaurant / bar at the center of the major league fields and a smaller (less accommodating) concession stand out towards the minor league fields. Plenty of room and playgrounds for my daughter and her friends to run around and play while their brothers were their games. A limited beer selection at the concession stand counter however the bar area has a few more to choose from. The staff here seems to be a little looser than the others I've been too however there are still many rules to follow upon entering this facility. No outside food or drinks are allowed as they want you to spend you money there. This particular Big Leagues is really in the middle of nowhere so if you want to go off the premises for lunch or dinner, you will have a bit of a drive. read more

My family and I attended the World Series this past weekend where our car was broken into along with several other families. I also learned this happened the previous years at BLD sites. I'm extremely disappointed that they do not have security monitoring their parking lots having known this to happen years in the past. Families travel from around the state and country to play and should not have to worry about getting robbed while watching the game.
