Big J's Mobile Detail has been servicing our family and friends for over seven years now. Cars, Exotics, Boats, and Trailers. Heck even golf carts. He's a great guy! Does amazing work. Is responsive and trustworthy. Absolutely recommend for just a wash or the best damn detail you will ever get. Especially in the valley. Attention to detail matters but he cares about the end result. 5 out of 5 stars every time. read more

Big J's Mobile Detail - Auto Detailing Near Me

(I hate writing a bad review.) After reading the many reviews on yelp/google and seeing mostly positive results, I decided to contact Big J for detailing services for my 2011 Nissan Titan and my fathers 6 month old Toyota TRD Tundra. Big j arrived on time and began working on the vehicles simultaneously with a helper, note, the titan was in rough shape and I told him that ahead of time. But the tundra was brand new and clean I just figured it would be a nice thing to have my dads truck detailed to keep it in tip top shape. After coming home hours after work, excited to get into a clean truck... I noticed paste left over every single plastic surface on both trucks. That stuff doesn't come out and my new tundra for my father has paste embedded that won't come out but will rather need trim paint on all black panels. Dash and gear shifters were sopping wet with interior shine, the interior was clean (and that alone was an extreme accomplishment) but when I went to grab the steering wheel I was met with more interior shine that made my hands slide right off. Wheels were still filthy with brake dust, headlights and taillights have outlines of compound... this was extremely upsetting. I have a line on the titan on the front fender where someone tried to buff and ended up BURNING the clear coat on a scratch. So I immediately contacted Big J, he apologizes and says the next week he will contact me for a redo on both trucks... That never happened. So I'm stuck with two full size pickups that will need to be re detailed by another company with the sole purpose of damage control. We all have bad days. Maybe this was one for the team at big j detail. But I try to right the wrongs if I have one. It's only a few hundred bucks that I won't be getting back. read more

If he details cars like he drives I wouldn't let him anywhere near my vehicle. Pulled out in front of me with his black Ram and trailer like he didn't even see me! Someone that careless doesn't belong anywhere near anyone's vehicle with a polisher! read more

I can't comment on his work because he never showed up. I schedule an appointment with him on Friday for Saturday at 11/11:30, he never showed up. I followed up prior to my appointment to confirm he was coming - no respond. 20 mins past my appointment time, I texted him and said to just cancel my appointment since he was a no show....20 mins later he responded saying "Ok This is unfortunate because I was planning to be a recurring customer given the other good reviews I read. Not a professional or reliable business. I would not recommend. read more

Our neighbor has had Jay clean her cars for years so we decided to flag him down one day. He cleaned one of our cars on the spot (full detail - Mercedes) and came back the next day to fully detail our other car (Porsche). Such a great guy and will be using him in the future! Super professional, communicative and doesn't mess around! read more

Big J is now on a MOBILE TRUCK. It was my first time and I did not know about this information so I went to the address listed here and found no business there. So I gave him a call and he said he would come to my house. So he came on the appointment date and did a great job on my car. I had a car wax and some detailing on my car. I had to go go somewhere else for emergency and left the car the for him since I felt that I could trust him. The neighbor was watching him working on my car from her window and came out after he was done with his job. She said the car was too shiny so she had to come out and took a closer look at the car lol. I could tell how much effort he put on his job (both he and his coworker were working on my car for a couple of hours from inside to outside; when I came back home, both were still working on it). He would be taking care of my car from now on. read more

For the past 2 years, I've noticed Big J and his crew cleaning cars in the back lot at the Atrium. I office here and enjoy the great natural environment of the koi ponds, open courtyard and views of Camelback Mountain. After an introduction from of his biggest fans and clients, an Interior Designer in the building, I got Big J's phone number and background. He had the car wash that was a fixture for years on the intersection of 44th & Indian School Rd in Arcadia. There is now a brand new Chick fil A at the same location. Anyway, I noted that he came by every week or two and made it a point to schedule with him in the future. Fast forward to last week, he was there on Tuesday and I left my keys with him while I went up and took care of clients for 5 hours. After I was done with work, my shiny, brand new looking, Explorer was waiting in the back lot. He did a great job with both the interior and exterior. I will definitely use Big J again in the near future. Sometimes I just a quick $5 wash near home. When I have an event coming up or after a big road trip, I will be calling Big J's Hand Carwash! read more

Big J's did an amazing and incredible hand car wash and interior cleaning in my E63. I've gone to countless hand car washes, but none that has exceeded my expectations. I gave J a call and scheduled an appointment on the same day. HE CAME TO ME, I was taking a good ol nap while J and/or his crew members cleaned my vehicle. I've never had such amazing work done. They will be my go to guys as long as I am in Arizona. Appreciate the work guys! read more

Destroyed my dash using acetone to clean adhesive and ruined the paint. They didnt bother saying anything, took my money and ran. When I called him to ask him why he destroyed my dash and did a bad job he didn't have much to say. They have since refused to acknowledge the damage done. Do not let these people work on your vehicle. The worst, overpriced full detail I've ever paid for. Residue on my seats, destroyed dash, left bugs on the front, and wax everywhere. Didn't wipe out the windows, left water spots....a read more

Big J's mobile service worked perfectly for me, I work night shift and was able to sleep comfortably while my car was being cleaned in my driveway. Big J spent two hours working on my 'hopeless' car. Definitely recommend! read more

I had my 250 Ford Diesel detailed yesterday. Once he finished it started to rain so he had me pull in the garage so he could dry it again. Once I pulled it out of the garage where I could see better I was shocked. The windows were all smeared up, there was still dirt on the body and stains on the seats. It cost 275 dollars for a job not worth it. read more

WOW! I'm so impressed! Big J detailed our Jeep Wrangler, and we couldn't be more pleased. It was in need of some work, inside and out. Big J's thoroughness and attention to detail definitely show. Our Jeep is beautiful! He arrived promptly and spent the time he needed to make our Jeep look beautiful again. The fact that Big J came to us made the experience amazingly convenient. And all for a very reasonable price. Thanks Big J!! read more

After paying $275 and tipping 20% on top of that, you would assume that our truck would be spotless. Streaky windows, streaky cloudy mirrors, dirt all over trunk. They rescheduled last minute and then showed late! I spent an hour cleaning the truck after they left. Oh, and they only take cash which the website is NOT clear about. Super disappointed- avoid. read more

Big J spent 6 hours cleaning my suburban that had been trashed by 3 young boys. Not to mention it was 115 degrees. It looks amazing. Highly recommend!! read more

Car interior was a terrible condition and he made it look almost new. Professional and clearly has a gift because this car was horrible

J is the best. After driving my car from Oregon to Arizona, then all the way to Boston and back to Phoenix again, it was not a pretty sight! We had camped and endured a very rainy, muddy summer on the east coast. J didn't bat an eye. He did a full detail for me, and got every stain out. My car looks better than when I bought it. Also the fact that J comes to you makes it an invaluable service. I was able to be at work while they were detailing my car. I couldn't recommend him more highly! read more

I have been looking high and low for Big J and his crew! I've been going to his Arcadia carwash on 44th and Indian School for over a decade and just about cried when he told me he wasn't going to be able to stay there. I've never driven a Tesla or an R8 but they treated my humble vehicles just the same. I couldn't beat the price for the service and I am so happy to have found them again! read more

Big J was running a few minutes late for our appointment...he called to advise me! His mobile service is completely self-contained - he didn't require anything from me. My Dad always told me, "when you get a new car, get it waxed thoroughly, especially in Arizona." Our new Lexus is now gleaming thanks to Big J and his team. Made the appointment yesterday(!), and here he was with his crew right on time at my door this morning. In less than 90 minutes, our new baby was protected, shiny, and ready for its first Arizona summer! I can't say enough how pleasant and professional J and his entire team were. They arrived completely self-contained - including pressure washers, detail equipment - the works. They never had to hook up to anything in my house. That's impressive! But what was really impressive was the job they did - immaculate! Highest recommendation and I am a customer for as long as Big J is doing this. Thanks for a great experience! read more

Very happy with the responsiveness, promptness and most of all the quality of the work here. Talk about going above and beyond! I think my car looks better than new. I just used this small business for the first time today to detail a vehicle that was filthy inside & out - they did an excellent job! Scheduling was very easy as J called me back almost immediately after leaving a voicemail - I had reached out to other detail companies & couldn't even get a cal back. I will definitely use J again in the future for my personal vehicles, as well as referring him to others! Big J's Mobile Detail - Hard at work! Car turned out fantastic! - Auto Detailing Near Me

I can't comment on his work because he never showed up for my car wash appointment. I called on Tuesday and made an appointment for Friday morning. I text him my address and directions. I text him on Friday 2 hours before my appointment to confirm he is still coming. No reply. I called and had to leave a voice mail about an hour before my appointment to see if he is still coming. No call back. If there was a conflict with my appointment, he should let me know and reschedule rather than not responding at all. This is not a customer oriented business practice. This review may not show up but I just wanted him to know that this is no way to run a business. read more

Great service and value. Have used on and off for a year and Big J's makes my 2016 M6 look great after a wash. Much better deal than the dealership of trusting some kid to put it through a car wash. Great mobile operation. read more

Big J used to have the car wash on the corner of 44th and Indian school. People loved taking their nice cars to him for a hand wash. He always had high ratings on Yelp. It's even better now that J comes to your place. Highly recommend using him and his service. Good guy too! read more

My 2007 4 Door Wrangler had been sitting idle outside for about 8 months due to an expensive repair that was needed. Got the repair done a couple of days ago, after which my wife let me know that she would not ride in it until it was completely detailed. I contacted Big J's based on his yelp reviews hoping to have him come to my work, unfortunately he was completely booked. I called him later in the day to see about coming out to my house in Fountain Hills the next day. He agreed. Let me tell you, you get what you pay for with Big J. My Jeep looks incredible. He did a superb job, you would never be able to tell that this vehicle sat for as long as it did in the Arizona sun, wind and rain. Sorry forgot to mention I always leave the windows out. My wife told me those windows have to go in now to preserve the job he did. I would recommend him to any one. Thank you Big J! read more
