Made a quick phone call and he promised to stay open late for us (was closing at 5) and he fixed our problem in an out in 5 minutes. We asked for just a temporary repair until we could get home to Boston but Eric did the full repair job in the same time I'd expect a temporary fix. He explained the issue, what he was doing, and even showed us that he has the specialty part of every make of car. Couldn't have asked for better, speedier, affordable care with such short notice. Thanks a million! He saved our day. Wish we lived closer so he could be our regular car guy!

We…read moredon't trust anyone else...especially with those hard to diagnose issues/problems that occur from time to time with any vehicle. Eric is essentially a one man shop...he checks you in, does all the work himself, and checks you out. You know the old saying...you get what you pay for and you will always get quality work at Johnson Automotive. He will explain what is wrong and walk you through everything. I moved away for a few years and it took me a while to find a mechanic even half as good. I absolutely hate going to the dealer and having a "service specialist" check me in who has no clue about cars other than upselling unneeded fluid flushes and 30/60/90/120k mile "tune ups" and never getting to speak with the actual mechanic. Do not let dealers scare you...Eric Johnson (and other independent shops for that matter) can fix and repair ANY MAKE AND MODEL car...and with a lot less hassle and money than the dealer. Thanks for keeping our cars running so well over the years Eric!

Willy checked with me prior to doing the alignment and lowered the tire pressure before checking the alignment. My AC wasn't able to simply be recharged as it had a broken component. Brian took time to explain how the AC worked and explained why it would be an expensive repair if I chose to repair it. My vehicle is 10 years old and isn't a daily driver so it's debatable if it makes sense to repair the AC. I appreciated Willy and Brian's willingness to show me what was wrong and clearly explain possible courses of action in the future, while making sure my vehicle was safe to drive as it was.

It was a very unprofessional, disappointing and unfortunate interchange. I would not recommend going here to anyone. Not trustworthy.

The police informed me that the tow truck would drop me off nearby or bring me to the shop. Since I was just south of exit 6 on route three I asked to be dropped off right off exit 6. The tow truck told me it would be $250 to be dropped off anywhere but the tow truck yard. I told him I just needed to be dropped off right off the exit and he pointed south on route three and said rudely, "I'm going THAT way". When I found out the shop was in , I was extremely confused. He obviously had to turn around and go north on route three past the exit I was asking to be dropped off on. I called the next morning, and asked what their policy was for being dropped off nearby. The man on the phone informed me that it was free to be dropped off right off an exit. I then told him what I was told the previous night and he told me that "I was hysterical and ran straight to the police officer." I then asked him how he knew who I was and informed him that was not what happened. Unfortunately, I had the unpleasant experience of having to go there to sign a written release so my insurance could pick up my vehicle. When I arrived, I said a friendly hello to the man at the counter to which he put up a finger and said "one moment" without looking up from his computer screen. I had to sign a waiver, releasing them of all liability if I fell on the ice rink that is their property. After, I was told I could get my personal belongings out of my vehicle, but I could not find it in the tow yard. I would avoid this company at all in the future. I do not know how much my insurance will have to pay or how much I am going to have to pitch in, but I am very unhappy with the customer service, lies, and general sketchiness of this company.
