As our family says goodbye to Legacy Montessori Christian School, we are filled with gratitude for…read morethe incredible foundation it has given our children. One of the things that has impressed us most is the Montessori approach. Both of our boys were reading by the age of four, developed a genuine love of learning, and entered each new stage with confidence. They learned early math concepts like addition and are heading into elementary school well-prepared academically. We truly believe the individualized, hands-on Montessori environment helped foster their independence, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. Equally important to us was the Christian foundation of the school. It was such a blessing to know that the values and biblical principles being taught at school aligned with what we were teaching at home. Having that consistency during their early years was incredibly meaningful for our family. As we begin a new chapter, we do so with thankful hearts. Legacy has given our children a strong academic, spiritual, and personal foundation, and we will always be grateful for the role it has played in their lives. We highly recommend Legacy Montessori Christian School to any family looking for a nurturing, Christ-centered education that truly prepares children to thrive.

This is the kind of school that you still follow on social media and still look at all your favorite teachers pictures and smile. Teachers are 5 star! Legacy, it has a great security system in the school, with an easy drop off. The school campus is small and great for little ones . 2 to 3-year-olds and even up I think to 5th. I really love the teaching style that my kids have at Legacy Montessori. my daughter and my son attended for two years and kindergarten through second and 3rd-4th. The school teacher Friday is amazing, subject, including speech, intimate, and our favorite mandarin. this one for us to continue a passion for Mandarin and we still have those in Mandarin and now have a live-in aupair from China. The school snd teachers Teach, kindness, respect, and sharing. Really, many of the things most public schools do not take consideration off. Really, still to this day, I value and love that this school took the time to get to know each family, and each child individually. There is upmost love and care for each of the family and children at the school. Unforgettable happy memories will forever be in my heart。Thank you, Ms. Katy, Ms. Shay!

We transferred our son to this location and what a breath of fresh air. Melinda the principal is AMAZING! She genuinely cares about each child enrolled here and their families. I can't sing enough praise about her and her leadership. The admin has also been great and are so on top of everything (Jessica and Angela). Our son was in the infant room and we had NO issues and knew our son was in great care. Even with COVID on the rise, I feel safer than ever sending my son back here. The staff has implemented a lot of protocol to ensure the kids are safe and my son has been so happy playing his his friends again. They have been extremely communicative and adaptable during these times and I know any child walking through that door will be in great hands. Definitely don't think twice about enrolling your child here.

This felt excessive and showed very little flexibility or understanding of normal child behavior. There also didn't seem to be much focus on learning or development during his time there. He 18 months when he started, and within a few weeks he was suddenly so organized about how he took out his toys to play with, and would put them away when he was finished. Of course the ultimate tell-tale is how excited he is to go to school every single day. If he's throwing a tantrum about getting dressed or something, I threaten him with not being able to go to school- and it works (I know- breaking every parenting rule!) The final test I give him to figure out if he's sick or not is asking him if he wants to go to school- if he says no- he is sick. Every single time it's proven to be true. We are about to move to Tennessee to be close to family now that we have our second child. I have been so excited to finally move back home after so long living away-- and leaving this precious magical little school is suddenly making this move so difficult. Any kiddo should be so lucky to get to go here and experience the love of Ms. Sarah and her teachers!

They will take your money to add you to an imaginary waitlist, which they will then "pause" without notice and without a refund of your deposit. I paid the waitlist fee of $150 on April 6, 2022 with a projected opening spot of December 2022 for my infant. I inquired numerous times regarding my place on the waitlist, only to be given vague responses such as: 1. "We are still working our way through the waitlist" 2. "We have paused all Poway enrollment at this time, we are hoping to enroll new children very shortly into our center. I will be in touch with you soon once we start to move down the waitlist", and 3. "Once we come across your name on the waitlist and a spot becomes available I will be in touch with you immediately." It's the end of January 2023 and I have yet to hear from them. My family and I waited and waited to hear from them, and were not able asses our childcare options properly due to their lack of communication. At this point, I don't believe there is even a waitlist anymore, and i just lost $150 at no fault of our own. If I had removed myself from the waitlist I would understand not getting a refund, but that is not the case. I'm still here waiting for them to "come across my name." I would not recommend taking the chance. Good luck, parents!

I had so much fear and anxiety about leaving my baby with someone else, but Pansy was absolutely wonderful. She was so patient, understanding, and reassuring, and she really helped give me the comfort I needed to make that transition. Now, seeing how much my baby LOVES being there makes my heart so happy. I can genuinely see the love that Pansy, Arjun, and all of the teachers pour into my baby and the other children. It's not just a place where I feel like I'm dropping him off to be watched, I truly feel like I'm leaving him with people who love and care for him. A special shoutout to his amazing teachers because they are truly the sweetest. They are so caring, loving, and attentive with him, and that means everything to me. My baby is always coming home doing something new, and I'm constantly amazed by how much he is learning and developing while he's there. There is no better feeling as a parent than knowing your baby is safe, happy, learning, and most importantly, loved while you're away. I'm so incredibly grateful that we found this daycare. From the owners, Pansy and Arjun, to all of the wonderful teachers, thank you for loving and caring for my baby the way that you do. Setting up a tour and getting more information was a breeze. The facilities are clean, secure, and well thought out. Each classroom is explicitly arranged to encourage exploration and engagement. Ms. Corrales and all the teachers & staff truly care about each student. It always impressed me how they knew every kid's name and family, no matter which classroom or age. Our daughter always felt welcomed, safe, and cared for. As a parent, I truly appreciated the clear and quick communication we received from the newsletters, emails, and updated calendar on the parent portal. All questions were answered quickly. No communication was ever ignored or unaddressed. I looked forward to getting monthly Dragonfly newsletters and seeing photos of all the wonderful things they did. One thing I especially loved was how families were encouraged to come share cultural holidays, celebrations, and food with the class. Our daughter developed leaps and bounds in Dragonflies. A huge shoutout to Ms. Estrada, Ms. Jacdedt, and Ms. Ochoa! She's emerged more confident and capable. She problem-solves and approaches things from different perspectives. She's incredibly compassionate. She loves learning and pursues her curiosity. We see the impact of this school every day. Thank you, Country Montessori!

When I look at the person she has become, I'm honestly amazed. She is confident, outspoken, and comfortable expressing her thoughts in a way I never was at her age. Montessori has played a huge role in that growth. Over the years, she has learned that her voice matters and that she can advocate for herself and others respectfully and thoughtfully. That confidence didn't come overnight, but it's now such a natural part of who she is. She asks questions, speaks up in group settings, and isn't afraid to share her ideas, which I know will serve her well wherever she goes next. One of the most meaningful parts of her experience has been the emphasis on community service. Her favorite activity has been volunteering at a memory care facility. She comes home from those visits talking about the residents she met and how much it meant to spend time with them. Those experiences have had a real impact on her and have even shaped her future goals. She often says she wants to be a nurse someday because she wants to help people, and as a parent, there's nothing more heartwarming than seeing that sense of compassion grow. As she prepares for the next chapter, I feel confident knowing she has a strong foundation. The academic skills, independence, empathy, and self-confidence she has developed at Country Montessori School have prepared her to face new challenges with resilience and curiosity. Watching her step forward so sure of herself is the greatest testament to the education and community she's been part of all these years.

My Room to Grow - A Truly Wonderful School…read more We absolutely love My Room to Grow! Our son, Tristan, started in the Peach Room and is now in TK, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, the warmth, dedication, and experience of the teachers have been evident. Not only in how they care for the children, but in how long many of them have been with the school. That kind of consistency speaks volumes about the culture My Room to Grow has built. The teachers here are incredible. Every single one we have met has gone above and beyond to help Tristan learn, grow, and thrive. Carina and Kathy, in particular, have shown such patience, care, and creativity in supporting his development. And Principal Meghan is so thoughtful and engaged, she genuinely knows and cares about every child and family. We have seen tremendous progress in Tristan in just a year and a half, and we are so grateful for the loving environment that has helped him flourish. In fact, we chose to keep him here another year, even though he qualified for Universal TK through Poway Unified, because we simply couldn't imagine a better place for him to continue learning and growing. Our only regret is not finding My Room to Grow sooner! It's such a comfort to know that while I am at work, Tristan is in the hands of people who truly care for him and want the best for him. We feel so lucky to be part of this wonderful community. -- Update: I also wanted to share that my son is diagnosed with ADHD and is on the autism spectrum (verbal and high-functioning). While My Room to Grow isn't a special needs school, they truly go above and beyond to see if they can make accommodations to support each child's individual needs. What was especially helpful when we were considering enrolling Tristan was that they allowed him to visit the school ahead of time to make sure the environment and teachers were the right fit. The staff genuinely care and are willing to collaborate with our Behavioral and Developmental OT therapists to ensure strategies are reinforced consistently at school. I can't express enough gratitude for the compassion, patience, and dedication of every teacher at My Room to Grow. They have made such a difference in Tristan's growth and confidence.
