I want to love this place since it's not your typical foot massage that I'm normally use to. But I have mix feelings. 50 minutes for $38 CND, which is $28 USD. One thing I love about this place is that they do focus just on your feet and legs. Other foot massage places, they would do your hands and shoulders/head the first or last 10-15 minutes. Focusing on just your feet and legs is very relaxing after a long day of walking. I love this about them. The downside of the massage: 1) when he started my massage, it was hurting so I requested that he doesn't massage me so hard. Great, he did that on my left foot/leg but when he started on my right foot/leg, I didn't really enjoy it much anymore. I woke up bc I was hurting. One of my sister in law said her masseuse barely put pressure. She was just rubbing her legs and feet. 2) the room where we (party of 4) got our massages were right in front where the entrance is. So you can hear when the phong rang, when customers walked in, and they can see us getting our foot massage. A community room at other locations, at least is away from the door and the front so we can be somewhat relax. This place was not the case. There's a sign that says "Quiet Please" but how can you enforce that with the room being right at the front? 4) the manager or owner whomever did my other sister in law's massage, would constantly pick up the phone to answer phone calls. She couldn't even relax during her massage. He'll massage her with one hand while flipping through his appointment book. Like okay... how do you expect someone to enjoy a massage like that? Seeing that just ticked me off. 5) my masseur would then use his hand to show his coworker who sat next to him, where she should put pressure. He'll use his own knuckles to show her. Luckily I wasn't gross out by him touching another person, bc he was doing it on my sister in law.... but what if someone who was next to me wasn't someone I know. Why would you do that? 1 out of 4 of us enjoyed her massage. She loved her masseuse. I notice the person who did her massage, didn't talk a single word we were there and just massaged her like what we came in for. read more

TW: assault After my friend was assaulted just after Christmas (2020) by one of the workers (Sam) the owner of Big Feet (Linda) acted like she was firing him on the spot and then tried to buy my friend's silence with a gift card. When she went to use the gift card recently, Sam was still working there. It's disgusting to not have your clients' safety as a priority. read more

Friendly and knowledgable staff. They check in with you to make sure pressure is good and ask if there are any areas you would like them to focus on. Iris is great at booking you in and being so accomadating. read more

Chikako is a gem! She first asks which areas you'd like her to focus on and the amount of pressure you'd prefer. She is highly skilled in using various massage techniques, finding knots and working them out. She appears well trained and has a wonderful friendly personality. I went here every week or so during my last trimester of pregnancy and really enjoyed the relief of a pregnancy massage. I recommend calling in advance to schedule a body massage appointment. Looking forward to my next appointment with Chikako! read more

Probably hands down the worst reflexology experience I've ever had. The employee working on the client beside me would not stop talking despite having a "quiet please" sign. The person I was given was also wearing gloves, which was the worst feeling and not enjoyable in anyway. Think I got a free leg wax considering how much it felt that the hair was being ripped out of my legs. The overall experience was not relaxing in anyway, I left more agitated than I came in. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This is the first time I've ever left a bad review ....but I'm choked that my time and money was wasted (I had to Uber there and back because of childcare) I made an appointment online and didn't get any kind of confirmation. I phoned to confirm the app 2 days before the appointment. They said no problem. When I arrived they had no clue who I was. After 20 minutes they found my phone number and told me I had called to cancel. No, I said, I spoke to a man on the phone and confirmed. They wouldn't give me the appointment. read more

Came in for the first time, and the woman started with unbelievably painful pressure on my back and shoulders. I asked her to ease up. Then we went to my feet, where she repeatedly and quickly dug her knuckles into the arches and tops of my feet, despite me asking multiple times for her to be slower with more gentle pressure. Another girl ended up giving her me feedback in their language and then started all laughing. The pressure then went from a 14 to barely a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10. What a waste of $65 read more

Terrible experience. Went for a foot massage but the woman spent most of the time just rubbing my lower legs. When I asked her to focus on my feet she dug into the bottom of my foot so hard it's was very painful. Do not recommend this place. Have had other foot massages in Vancouver that were great with pleasant staff. Do yourself a favour and give this place a miss. read more

My husband & I went to Big Feet tonight (October 17, 2020) & loved our foot reflexology treatments. This is the best Big Feet location we have went to. I would highly recommend Alex (Manager) or Tim, they do a fantastic job. What I like about this location: -organized -clean -professional -relaxing environment (soft music, dim lights & no talking between employees or customers talking to eachother). -friendly -start on time -call/text the day of as a reminder Great work Big Feet team. We have now made this our weekend ritual as we love it so much & look forward to it all week. read more

This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a massage spa. The therapist barely used a 1/4 of her strength and legitimately talked the entire time. There is a sign that says " QUITE PLEASE" in the middle of the room and she relentlessly chatted to her colleagues the ENTIRE TIME. Loudly at that. I am am RMT and barely ever treat myself to something like this. My experience was completely ruined. She was way less focused on what she was being paid to do and way more focused on her conversation. Pretty appalled. I will never go back. read more

William has delivered excellent service. A combination of body massage, reflexology, and acupuncture have contributed to my sense of overall health and being. I have a high level of activity in my life and he keeps my body in top shape. I feel I am in good hands. read more

I've gotten acupressure massages from here twice, the first time was good, I received a massage form an elderly woman. But the second and most recent time was awful. The man with a receding hairline was creepy and made me uncomfortable and didn't quite listen to my concerns about my neck. Not going to come back. If you do, make sure it's from a person you are comfortable with. read more

I am at big feet right now and every time I've been here it's been really good to excellent and the owners are amazing and friendly. Tonight as I sit here I'm wondering what they could have possibly missed when I asked for a foot massage because it was 90% rubbing my calves repeatedly and getting up to do other things , she is definitely the worst and if it was my first time I'd never come back , I will be sure to specifically not get her again I'm so sad and disappointed , maybe she missed the foot part of the training read more

I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed it. All the workers are pretty good so I was a bit disappointed when Mindy was working on my reflexology on Sunday. During the massage, I kept thinking that she was either new or just not interested and then about 2/3 of the way through she excused herself because she wasn't feeling well. "Ah ha, I thought", that explains it. Another lady took over and she was much more engaged. However, I felt off balance. Two different people with very different energies worked on me. Mindy never should've started my reflexology in the first place or she should've handed it off sooner. When the replacement lady was finished, the manager person came by and "finished" the process again. Which did nothing to elevate my off balance energy. As a practitioner, your energy is very important while giving your service and this whole experience totally reflected that. Of course, they thought that the "finish" made up for it and didn't offer me a discount on my next visit or anything to make up for it. I might visit again, but there a many other reflexology places around that are just as good if not better. read more

Terrible customer service! I had an appointment booked, when I arrived, they told me my appointment had been canceled because the person scheduled to do the massage had called in sick. Seriously? They should have booked me with someone else. There were tons of other people working. My appt was at 1pm, so at the VERY LEAST they had ample time to call me, but they did not. When I asked for a different service with someone else, they told me "they don't take walk ins", which they do. At every location. And even did so WHILE I WAS STANDING THERE TALKING. I don't know what the heck was going on, but I will never ever go to Big Feet on Hastings ever again. I say avoid avoid avoid this place, I haven't had such unprofessional treatment anywhere in a long long time. read more

Not the fanciest places but it gets the job done. Rates are affordable and there's no pressure to tip but I always do. Body massage rooms are tiny and no showers available. The massages are 50 mins per session. I go at least once a week and they always have space to fit me in. Make sure you call to reserve a spot. read more

Just came out of a foot massage with Aling - so relaxing and good! She has really strong hands and did a lot of work on the calves too, highly recommend. read more

Big Feet is tough to review because it's not your traditional fancy schmancy massage with all the bells whistles. It was a kooky experience and a life changing massage... (This review is ONLY for the Hastings St. location.) I was referred to Big Feet from a friend, she warned me "they don't speak English well." I didn't make an appointment, I walked in and followed my friends instructions. I asked for a 60 minute back massage and a 30 minute foot massage. Their English wasn't too bad, and I was asked to wait 10 minutes. During those 10 minutes I heard some funny sounds, lots of slapping, clapping and running water. I'm sensitive to smell and I anticipated there might be an odour, but there wasn't and the reception area was very clean. Off of the reception area was a lounge for foot massage, and a hall that lead to massage rooms. Alas, massage time! The room is teeny barely 4' wide. There's a bed, a sink, a hook for clothing and the walls are curtains. Next door to me I can hear someone having a massage. The sounds of clapping, slapping and a toilet flushing echo in the distance. I'm undressed, undies on, face down with a towel over me when James knocks on the door. James is tall and I wonder how he's going to navigate this tiny space. He speaks no words and gets to works. The first half of massage is done over the towel with lots of pressure, there were moments where I thought James was going to snap me like a twig. The second half of the massage is done with oil, only the parts of your body being massaged are exposed. This experience was wonderfully painful, like a good "hurt" but also ticklish. This was the first time I heard James speak "you ok?" - I was A Ok! What I loved most was how he stretched muscle groups as he massaged and it alleviated so much tension. Lastly, the foot massage - oh wow, just oh wow. The whole 90 minute shebang with 20% tip came to roughly $65 I've experienced MANY massages, from Swedish Spas to painful RMT tissue repair. This massage goes into top 3 best massages I've ever had! I felt like I was walking on a cloud afterwards. James hit each area of tension and injury with precision. The draw back at Big Feet is it's challenging to book over the phone due to the language barrier, it's a challenge to book with the same person twice as their schedules are kooky. Although clean, the facility isn't amazing, you could easily hear people chatting, the odd toilet flushing, and your neighbour is really close - but this isn't a place to get a "relaxing" massage, it's reflexology. read more

We just had Kiki and Nancy massage our feet and it was super....nice and relaxing! Thank to the team for giving us our relaxing time! read more

Just had the BEST massage from a woman called Apple today! I came in with a super sore back and asked for someone very strong and I was not disappointed. She had a lot of work ahead of her and she did an amazing job. I highly recommend her, and I'll definitely be coming back again! read more

I have gone multiple times and have had a couple of not half bad massages, but I went last Friday and had the worst massage of my life. The masseuse used plastic gloves the whole time and spent most of the time (like 80 percent) just digging into me w her elbows. I don't mind some elbows but the entire time?? There was almost no massaging of muscle w her hands. It was so bad, I considered walking out but for some reason did not. read more

I frequent the Hastings location and have had amazing experiences with both Apple and Alex. The foot reflexology/full body massages are always welcome when feeling sore from daily activities. They both work hard to give the best massages possible, focusing on areas that require attention. I highly recommend Big Feet on Hastings. read more

The worst place I've ever been to. Staff are rude and don't speak much english. They yelled something nasty in Chinese when I didn't tip them. Not only do they not deserve the tip but they do not deserve my services. I do not recommend this place. I'm going to take my business elsewhere. read more
