The receptionist and a different therapist also complained about a customer no-showing in front of me and another client, saying, "it figures", "no surprise there", etc. The receptionist continued to be loud during the treatment. The walls are thin and the floors creak because it's an old building -- fair enough. But there didn't seem to be any effort to work around this, easy options could be: ask your receptionist to be quieter in general, use white noise machines, choose different music that drowns out the noise of the clinic and busy road, put some carpets down. Overall the environment was lacking: The massage table squeaked and seemed old. It was too short for me at 5'6" to have my head on the bed when I laid on my back. When it was time to turn onto my back, the therapist asked me to put the back of my head in the face cradle. I had to tell them my neck was *really* unsupported, to the point it hurt. The clocks in the treatment rooms were large, bright white LED -- mimicking a neon light style. They shine in your eyes during the treatment. Overall not a comfy or relaxing environment. Don't recommend.

I found that they have an online booking system on their website. This is excellent and very convenient! I could choose a time and date that would fit in my schedule, so I did not have to call and ask a receptionist to check on any time slots. I could see all the availabilities online. I was trying to choose a time slot that was after work such as 5:45pm or after 6pm on weeknights. The online system or website shows that they have 10 RMTs. I chose a RMT called Cynthia Gillanders and reserved a time slot online. I did not know her before, but I would just give her a try. When I walked into Inlet Wellness Gallery, the environment was very relaxing, quiet, and comfortable. A receptionist greeted me and asked me to fill out a form, so Inlet Wellness Gallery could know my medical issues and history. Their waiting area or lounge got a beautiful and comfortable couch and chairs with a coffee table. They placed some tea on the coffee table for the customers who were waiting for appointments. This was a very good idea making the customers feel comfortable and relaxed right at the beginning of the process. Cynthia is a very experienced RMT. She double checked with me on my medical issues and history and asked questions to make sure she understood what I needed from her before she started a massage therapy. She was very friendly and kind. She would also chat with me and made sure I felt great (not bored) when she was giving me a massage. Some soft music was on when I did the massage as well. It was very comfortable. After the massage therapy, I paid up front. The receptionist could make the next appointment immediately. An email notification would send out to me right away. They were very efficient! Overall, I had a great experience at Inlet Wellness Gallery. I would definitely come back to do a massage therapy with Cynthia in the near future.

I don't get massages very often, but I love it when I go to Michelle, she can read your body and knows when its too much with out having to say a word. Nothing sucks more than having to snap out of your relaxed state to tell your massuese that he or she is putting too much pressure on the area they're working on. I have not gone to her new location in Port Moody but I am looking forward to it. Nothing against her, and I understand it's out of her control, but the stomping from her upstairs kids ruins the experience a bit. I'm a bit thrilled she got out of that old location

During the past two weeks I have had a massage at your new Port Coquitlam office and one in my own home in Coquitlam. Because I was able to crawl into bed immediately after the latter massage I had so much more pain relief and better sleep afterwards. Trying to do too much after such a deep tissue massage was my mistake and then because I was out in the rain that day I didn't drink near enough water! Another lady came in wanting a mani-pedi and she said they had no time. I was the only customer in the place! She then went back to her phone. When she did my manicure, she was distracted. I only got the massage on one hand and once she was done I was ignored, I still had the dividers between my toes. Now I know I can do this myself, but you pay a salon to do these things for you. I won't be back.
