I was craving a burger and prayed to the food truck gods to bring one to me, and they actually did!…read moreRight across the street from my office, in front of the Chase building, I encountered Roll MKE and after a quick review of their menu, I ordered the MKE Burger. This burger had cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, bacon jam, and burger sauce. It also came with chive fries...mmmmmm chive fries. They were pretty busy, which I generally take as a good sign, but I had to wait about 10 minutes for my burger. Not bad of a wait really. They called my name and presented me with my burger and fries. It looked great! I hurried by to my office, eating the delicious fries along the way. They were crispy, hot, salty, with just enough chives that you knew they were there but they didn't overpower. I dug into the burger as soon as I sat down. It was fantastic! The burger was cooked to a perfectly pink medium. The bacon jam was amazingly flavorful! I have no idea what burger sauce is but it was great. The lettuce and tomatoes were nice and fresh too. The sesame bun was nicely toasted and the cheddar cheese was nice and melty. I liked that the bun held up well and didn't fall apart while I was eating it. I was in burger heaven! I sure hope this food truck will come by regularly. The rest of their sandwiches sounded great too and I can't wait to try them!

Sandwich, fries, and a drink are up $1 to $9 this year. Still a great value for the quality that…read morethis truck produces! My brisket grilled cheese today was even better than the last time I had it, but I was told nothing in the recipes was changed. He is still using cheddar, provolone, gruyere, caramelized onions, arugula, and and Peppadew peppers as always. No reason to mess with perfection. I guess I just missed eating it so much it tasted even better than I remembered. Great eats!

If it's possible to be addicted to wings I think I'm addicted to Double Dub's wings. I was never a…read morewings person before Double Dub's. I went the boneless wing or chicken tender route. But now that I've had Double Dub's in my life all other wings are nothing compared to them. The wings are perfectly cooked and dripping with sauce. Big juicy wings that there are plenty of meat on so you don't feel like you're not getting what you paid for. Service is always super fast, and I appreciate that they give you pagers so you don't have to keep track of when your food is supposed to be done or be standing around waiting but the truck. I like that they stuck with the theme throughout the naming of their sauces, the different meals that are offered, and the decor of their truck. The staff has always been super nice and helpful for answering questions. Also this is the only establishment I've found where I will order the fries every single time over the tater tots. I've had their tater tots and they're perfectly good tater tots, but Double Dub's does something to their fries that makes me want to get a job there just to know how they're made and seasoned. I dream of both their wings and fries, and I may have a new final last meal now that I've discovered the wonder that is Double Dub's.

For sauces we picked the: buffalo, cinna-bee, spicy bleu and the chili lime dry rub. The spicy bleu was BY FAR my favorite followed closely by the chili lime and buffalo. The wings were cooked perfectly with a good wing to sauce ratio. The fries were also excellent- think crack fries! The food truck staff were all very friendly. They rotate locations so be sure to check their website for their location- we visited at Ope which was great. Keep doing what you're doing Double Dub's we will be back for more

Always on the hunt for the best tacos, and I think we've stumbled upon the best tacos in Milwaukee!…read moreFYI - CASH ONLY. The truck itself is quite an experience with blaring house music to keep you occupied and your body groovin' while you decipher the authentic menu. They have hands down the best al pastor that I've had in the city so far, rivaling some of the al pastor tacos I had in CDMX. AND they have a trompo IN THE TRUCK. We ordered the asada alambres which came with a free mini baked potato. The tacos (you can choose from carne asada (steak), al pastor (pork), lengua (tongue), cabeza (head), tripa (tripe), chorizo, barbocoa, campechanos (steak and chorizo), and pollo (chicken) are all made to order, and you can choose cilantro and onions (yes, ALWAYS the right choice), or lettuce (that's a no for me, dawg). Everything came out PIPIN' HOT, and were still hot and not soggy as we drove it the 10 minutes home to eat. [Longest 10 minutes of my LIFE] On the ledge in front of the ordering window, there is a "salsa bar" that comes with five buckets of goodness to try: pico de gallo, pickled onions, green salsa, red salsa, and another pickled item that we didn't end up trying. The salsas were decent, but the pico de gallo and pickled onions were so simple but executed perfectly. Can I haz moar pls!? We also got the horchata which I wasn't a fan of, but these tacos were SOOOOO supreme, a mediocre horchata doesn't even move the needle. Can't wait to go back!

Don't be intimidated if you see lots of people in line or waiting, they are rightfully popular but I've never waited that long to eat. Generous portions, reasonably priced.

It's been a few years since I have been to this truck and since it was 2ish and I haven't eaten…read moreanything yet I thought I would stop over for something small because dinner was somewhat close. The truck is west of Oscars Winners Circle on Burnham St and I have seen it there a few times so it's probably a daily spot. Since I wanted something small what should I get, a taco/frijoles charros, 2 tacos and I settle on a taco and tostada feeling that this was just the right size. WRONG because the bag felt heftyer but not quite burrito heft. When I opened my container I noticed that the two items were generously topped and looked amazing with grilled pepper/onions/limes as a garnish. The Al Pastor taco was tasty on two corn tortillas with plenty of meat, red onions and cilantro. The star was the steak tostada piled high on a super crispy corn tostada with plenty of steak, beans, sour cream, two nice fresh avocado slices and cheese. The tostada was very good and bigger than I expected but than again it's not ordered very much by me so it's possible this was the norm, I couldn't finish the whole plate before I was full. Overall I really liked how they didn't skimp out on anything and for a food truck they make a great presentation with the food.
