Great place & glad to have it here in the Big Easy. I attended the opening night events & it was FANTASTIC. For the GRAND OPENING there were food trucks, lite bites, free sample, discounted items & giveaways. I attended this event & was ecstatic to see the arg amounts of people who enjoyed the taste of kombucha but also the health benefits. Lots of people attended & are excited to see Kombucha locally brewed here in New Orleans. Off in an area that's widely used by other business off Earhart near Broadway; this was the perfect place, perfect night, perfect weather. I can admit it took me awhile to get on the kombucha train. I couldn't get past the strong acidic flavor. As much as I hate the saying, "That's because you haven't had the right one." it actually did apply in this situation. It started with a photo shoot we did that used the beverages for props. I tried three or four flavors and I was convinced if I could make drinking them a habit I would eventually love them. I began with strawberry and realized quickly it was cheaper to buy the growler. Before I knew it I was drinking a growler in 2 days. Definitely my recommendation when people ask me "How can you drink that stuff?" THEN I went to a tap room flash sale and it was a sealed deal. Everything was half off. A guy in line told me you can always get discounts for bringing in your own glassware to get refilled. I'm going to try that next since I now have quite the collection. In short, if you want to try kombucha start with BigEasy. If you already regularly buy and drink kombucha make sure it's BigEasy. Of all their flavors you're sure to find one you like. I was introduced to Kombucha at a Rouses tasting randomly during the week. It has since changed my life! When I was pregnant I suffered with the occasional constipation and didn't want to take any chemicals or over the counter meds to assist. Enters Big Easy Bucha and I have been regular ever since. Besides the stomach assistance and probiotic benefits, it tastes amazing. Don't sleep on the Geaux Green, Front Porch Peach, and Bayou Berry flavors. They can be regularly found. And my absolute fav is s seasonal flavor called Voodoo. It's like a cherry, coffee, and chicory flavor and is totally mind altering. Daily it seems this city surprises me. Friday this business and venue was a wonderful one of those surprises. Here are the top handful of elements that made it so wonderful. The owners - seriously friendly people with authenticity and love for their product Bucha - I'm sure you've already heard about the benefits of bucha so let me highlight their flavor profiles - all local ties and not aggressive flavors. Growlers - a steal of a deal. $5 for the growler and $10 refills after that. Bucha Cocktails - I mean who knew? Amazing and kind of balances an guilt out of having another drink. Personally, not a fan of kombucha. So I don't know if you'll take this review to heart but here me out. Everyone I know that actually likes kombucha thinks Big Easy is freaking amazing. The label design and names of their beverages are cute, NOLA themed and makes me wish I did like kombucha. I've never purchased a bottle but I have sampled the wares many a time at a variety of events over the last few years and everyone I interact with behind the booths/tables are always informative and generally all-around nice people. I find myself lucky to have found this place via NOLA Tribe Yoga. They did a couple classes in the brewery and that was the first time I was introduced to the flavorful bucha so close to me. Really cool spot - you can sit and hang out and watch what's going on. You get to see the production in action, which is very similar to a beer brewery. You can buy glasses of kombucha on site, or you can purchase to go as well. The 67 Oz growler is $10, which is actually a great deal. The flavors are diverse and delicious. Including a ginger cayenne, satsuma, and pineapple currently, among others. It seems like they use a lot of local ingredients, as the satsumas came from an employee's family's farm. The kombucha is made very artfully and carefully starting with green and black tea. You can tell that they take pride in their work, as they should. read more

This is the first time trying this Kombucha. It is tasty, a much more mild Kombucha than I am used to. I usually get GTs or Kevita. They have a stronger Kombucha flavor. One of the things that made me reluctant to purchase( but they were buy on get one free at Publix) was that the first ingredient was purified water, not Kombucha like the other brands. It is good though and I will purchase again if I see a great sale. read more

I went to the grand opening last week and it was such a great event. There were food trucks and yummy locally brewed Kambucha. We had a great time with friends there and the owners were very welcoming. I am so excited to see the seasonal flavors that they will be able to start showcasing here. This is the best tasting Kambucha I've ever had. All of their flavors taste so fresh and unique. My personal favorites are the Cajun Kick and Basin St Blues. I'm looking forward to watching this great business grow right here in Nola! Just what we needed, keep up the great work! read more
