Good food but terrible service…read more I've pretty much always been a fan of the scoreboard since I started going back in 2019 or so and it was good food constantly and never any complaints but it seems like something in 2024-2025 happened and now the service is pretty bad and the waiters will kinda just ignore you unless you go after them to order your food and my cousin got sick eating there which is the only case I've heard of that happening but still a cause of concern

It's not fancy but don't be fooled by the simple decor. Great beer selection and our meals (grilled turkey sandwich and turkey Reuben) were terrific. Just as important were the people. We sat at the bar to watch LSU-Ole Miss and it was a super friendly crowd around the bar. Everyone, including our fabulous bartender Paula, seemed to know each other and it was a very welcoming environment for 2 strangers. Every neighborhood should have a place like Frogtowne Grille.

This little divey spot has unexpectedly delicious food that will keep you coming back. I started…read moreoff with an order of the Crabby Bites. Basically mini crab cake balls, deep fried and served with a side of the house cajun ranch. It was a great size for sharing, but I could have easily put down 2 orders of these. They were moist inside, perfectly fried, and the ranch had a nice flavor without being too hot. For my main I ordered their Maine Lobster Roll. Fresh cold lobster mixed with mayo and celery salt and comes with a lemon wedge on the side. I've had some really good rolls while visiting New England and this roll stood up to the others. Generous lobster portions, and the perfect ratio of mayo without making the sandwich soggy. It was delicious and hit my craving. At the Port, the outdoor seating is where it's at. A fully enclosed patio, fans, and a full service bar. Inside, they have a fully stocked beer wall with loads of beers on tap to try. The down sides here are that it is in a residential neighborhood with on street parking. Get ready to drive around looking for a spot and be prepared to walk. The Port is currently rated a 9.1 on my Beli and is worth a stop whether you're looking for some good beer or delicious pub food.

The place has a cozy old-school bar feel with dark wood, booths, a long bar and a lot of character. I also liked that the pool table is in a separate room, so if you're eating or just want to sit and talk, you're not right in the middle of people playing. They had Halloween decorations up when we went and it made the place feel even more fun. Definitely has that comfortable neighborhood bar vibe where you can hang out for a while. We'll be back. And of course-Thanks to the friendly bartender T!

The music was playing vintage 1970's songs and it was a great atmosphere. I finally got a chance to try the food and I ordered a 3$ cheeseburger. I wasn't expecting much for 3 dollars -but- I was wrong! The Wabash burgers tasted very homemade and looked hand formed. Sorry!! No picture because it was that damned tasty! I like how the burger was served too- wrapped in checkered paper. By the way?! 2 dollar burgers and 3 dollar cheeseburgers ala cart is not a special folks, it's an every day price! We met the owner, Dave and were chatting because we have been in the business ourselves. The owner has the right idea! Keep it simple- keep it tasty- keep it affordable. I would definitely go back and I plan to bring my family in when they come to visit. Also interesting- per Dave- this has operated as a bar since 1920 and that's pretty impressive. Husband had 3 beers- I had two cranberry and club sodas- we had two orders of wings and two burgers at an astounding price of just shy of 25$. Mind Blowing!! In the summer there will be outdoor dining and live music on the patio. Plus there's always lots of ample parking!
