We came in about 8:30 on a Saturday so they do close at 11 pm that day. Like most In the comments i felt like we were almost a bother. Didn't want to do certain things because it was going to take a bit longer. The environment is chill I guess. The seating isn't comfortable. Some of the art work on the walls were dope though. Eventually we got our tattoos my husbands healed up nicely. Mine ended up with an infection. The gentleman who tattooed me was absolutely killing me on the shading. This wasn't my first tattoo. So the care for it wasn't the issue. But I can't 100% say the tattooer was at fault. It is the first tattoo I have ever had get infected and I had 15 tattoos before this new one. I loved the tattoo it's what I wanted minus the infection. Which did cause the color no to stay in the tattoo. I contacted the individual about my tattoo being infected. I asked what to do the recommended I go to the doctor and continue to wash it With all that being said. Highly doubtful I will be coming back in the future. read more

Jimi is awesome! I called around 8pm on a Saturday to ask if they do walk ins. He said it was first come first serve and I asked how busy they were at the current time, he said he was just finishing one up so I headed over. There was nobody at the front counter but Jimi came out to greet me within 1 min of walking in the door. After discussing what I wanted ( which was a larger piece that I should have made an appointment for) he said he could do it and got to work right away on a custom drawing. He never cut any corners and made sure he took his time even though I was a walk in (pretty late) and wanted something that was kind of out of range for a not having an appointment. Went to take my daughter for a belly piercing, ended up costing a $100 of ear piercing that she was unhappy with. First off we had the paper work needed for a belly piercing but the staff insisted that they don't pierce minors. Ok fine, we'll my daughters wanted her triple ears piercing. We both said EARS!! meaning both sides! Second off the confusion is that she didn't even get to pick out her jewelry for the ears!! We ended up signing & finishing paper & went back. We are so new to this & didn't know any better. The gentleman marked her ear!! ask if the marks were good, she was ok with it. at this time we just thought ok, they do one side at a time. Well we were wrong, top it off we were still confused why we didn't get to pick out jewelry especially being that I paid $100 and all she got only 2 piercings on her right ear!! extremely unsatisfied that my daughter didn't get both sides of the ear done. This place is awesome! Troy did my tattoo and was amazing. I was a walk-in and thankfully they had some open time to get me in right away. This was my first tattoo, I was a bit nervous, but Troy was super helpful the whole time. I wasn't sure where I wanted it, so he stenciled it in different spots on my arm until I found a place I was happy with. Then he went to work! I thought the symbol I chose would be pretty easy and simple, but he pointed out how symmetrical it is and the small defined lines close together in spots, so he took his time, was thoughtful and careful with every line, didn't rush through any part of it. And wow! It looks perfect! Troy is a self-proclaimed "a**hole" lol, but he's actually super nice and was easy to keep a conversation with the whole time. I have a tattoo obsession. Every year or so, I get tattoo fever. I have this gigantic, ever-growing list of things I want and so, last night when the hubs suggested date- night consist of burgers and tattoos - I was ecstatic! We did some research. I have very limited knowledge of tattoos in Oklahoma. Most of my ink has been from west coast or east coast artists. Using a new artist is nerve wracking. I mean - tattoos are forever and I've had some bad ones. Our combing of the internet led us to Big Daddy's Tattoos. Their ratings were excellent, so, we decided to try to walk-in and see what they could do for us. The staff here is so friendly. They greeted us immediately and even though there were some customers ahead of us, they told us they'd be right with us. I never felt rushed. We talked through the pieces we wanted, talked through placement and price. They were honest - my husband and I both have finger tattoos that didn't turn out very well. We asked about getting them freshened up, and Eric and Ethan were completely honest about ink holding up - on fingers - it's just tough and they don't recommend. They are all about their customers and would rather tell you a certain tattoo won't hold up than take your money and cross their fingers that it turns out. We were interested in getting much bigger pieces but because we didn't have an appointment opted for three smaller tattoos. Eric and Ethan were so patient and accommodating. We are thrilled with our new tattoos and will definitely be back to get our larger pieces done. Ethan hooked up my husband and Eric took care of me. He had a very light hand and while tattoos hurt - that's just apart of the deal - these were the most pleasant tattoos I've ever received. I'd been thinking about getting a new tattoo for... hmm... 15 years. I just never got around to it. Well it was mostly that it was a passing interest mixed with not knowing what I wanted on my body the rest of my life, cut with lack of funds. Finally, all three blockades came down and I moved forward. I wanted some place close and also good, so I called Atomic Lotus. After a highly condescending conversation on the phone I looked elsewhere, which brought me to Big Daddy's. I'm glad I made this decision. People here are quite respectful and professional, and above all they have talent. I mean, for what you're trying to do this takes commitment, and you want a master of the trade putting a needle to your skin. I worked with Drew, and he had a lot of his art displayed on the wall, which gave me confidence in his abilities. My design was a tweak on the Austrian Coat of Arms. I altered it in Adobe Illustrator and gave him a rough guide to work with, telling him what I wanted and giving him some creative license over some alterations. I was really pleased with his design and he delivered. I recommended this place to my coworkers, but none of them are really the type to get inked. So for random people who come across this post, I highly recommend Big Daddy's. read more
