I would say I prefer the jerk chicken as it had a lot more flavor. The greens as also delicious but fyi have a kick to them/are spicy. The fries were also surprisingly good. Superb flavors that were even enhanced by the three bbq sauces available - spicy, sweet and mustard based. Each sauce was distinctive and flavorful. Salad was only ok. It was big but nothing special. It actually felt comfortable and welcoming and had a really good, casual barbecue-joint vibe. The pulled pork sandwich was good, and I appreciated the attention to detail, especially the buttered and toasted bun. The pork had very good flavor, and I got quite a bit of bark in my sandwich, which I normally love. What surprised me was that the bark didn't seem to have any seasoning on it. There were some fairly large pieces from the outside of the pork butt, and I was expecting to see a good coating of seasoning, with visible salt, pepper, garlic, and other spices on the outside of the pork. Instead, there really wasn't any seasoning on it at all. It was basically just the browned exterior of the pork. The meat was also a little dry, almost like it might have been a day past its prime, but it still had good flavor. The Brunswick stew was very tasty, although it was thinner than I expected. I'm used to Brunswick stew being pretty thick and hearty, and this was definitely on the thinner side. The portion was also surprisingly small. It came in a little ramekin that I'd consider closer to half a side than a full side. Service was a little unusual. The guy working the counter when I ordered didn't seem particularly comfortable dealing with customers. After I paid, another gentleman who appeared to be the owner came back and took over the front. He was extremely friendly and made a point of thanking me for stopping by, which left me with a much better impression. Overall, there were a few things I think could have been better, but nothing that would keep me from coming back. The food had good flavor, the place had a welcoming feel, and I definitely want to give Sparky's another try. Next time, I'm going for the brisket.

Don't forget to save room for dessert!!!!!! Carols' banana pudding is to die for. Carol knew my son loved that brisket so much, she gave him a smoked brisket for his birthday every year. We would also get a smoked prime rib for Christmas. Never had prime rib taste that good. I had gotten a brisket sandwich earlier that week bc I was coming into town for a week. It was terrible and the bread was awful. I had to give it a second change on the way out of town. It was a great experience. Food was sweet tea was great. I really enjoy Dickey's vibe. They support the right stuff. Glad to see it.
