The food is excellent so much so I drive 40 minutes from PCB to discover the location is closed mind you this is the second weekend in a row this has happened. My first couple visits to this location in Parker was good. The last two have been terrible. I reached out expressing my concerns about burnt, dried up Mac and cheese that was served to me, expressing that I didn't want to leave a bad review and I did not at that time. No one even responded to my email which I thought was rude. I decided to try Angel's again and once again the food was dry and seemed overly cooked like it had been reheated. Maybe they put all of their efforts into the catering and not the stand alone building ‍. Regardless, I won't go back and I won't recommend to my clients. After driving by numerous times over the past few years, I finally made the stop for lunch today. Plenty of parking, even with a boat on the back of my truck. The grounds and order area are very clean. Contemporary Christian music playing on the patio. Very friendly owners/staff. I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw. Melt-in-your-mouth brisket between two slices of buttery, grilled Texas toast. Perfect baked beans and coleslaw. Can't wait to go back for ribs, chicken and everything else on the menu. A shout out to Angel"s Barbecue for this wonderful food. I have eaten pretty much everything on the menu and everything is delicious the smoked baked potato and cheese sauce with bacon. Bits is amazing. The macaroni and cheese is true southern style. You can tell that everything that the food is made with love. A buddy of mike brought me some ribs one day because I had never heard of this place, and they were off the chain good. The ribs were delicious and tender. Wow! Wow! And Wow again. I ordered an odd combo of brisket, sausage and shrimp. I couldn't believe how fantastic all three were. I ate the shrimp first and I loved them; no need for cocktail sauce as they were seasoned to perfection and not overly fried. The sausage was a great portion and smoked just right. The brisket had a nice smoke ring was most and tasted oh so good. Do not miss the Smokey-Chedda potatoes, thinly sliced red potatoes with bacon and cheddar. Angel's BBQ came to my place of work and the food was very good, thought I would throw them a little business on Saturday 7/11/20. Went to their website and found out they were open til 5:00. My wife and I took the 25 minute drive across town and arrived at 4:10. It smelled like BBQ, and the smoke was still wafting in the air, yet we were told (by a female employee) they were done! We explained that we drove all the way from Lynn Haven, and there was no explanation, apology or even a response.................. I have no use for Angel or Angel's BBQ, and when given the option to Cater them for events; I assure you I will take a HARD PASS!!! I've been hearing about this place for about a year on radio commercials and even got curious and looked at reviews, but always forget about it when in the Panama City area. We live in another county and my husband had to make a P.C. run yesterday. So after my local go to bbq place was closed, I talked him into going a little further out of the way to Angel's and let me tell you it was worth the trip. Reviews didn't lie. Chicken, ribs, brisket, and sides were all delicious. Enjoyed the taste of just the meat without the sauce. Not too smokey, charred, or taste of charcoal starter on meat. So no mistake of just hitting them on a good day. This takes really knowing what you're doing to perfect the foodie experience we had. Maybe not regularly, but will definitely be back. read more

I went here the week the Owner decided to treat military to free lunch. I didn't have time to go that day but I knew I was going to go later that week. I mean any business man to treat military to free lunch from 11-2pm earns respect in my eyes. I had been craving fried okra for days. I always go online to see the menu of places first. So when the employee said no fried foods available, Man I was gutted. I just knew I was going to get my fried okra. I ordered the rib and brisket plate with sides of green beans, baked beans, and Mac and cheese. Let's start w/the meats; Good Lord, melt in your mouth so tender, flavorful, and juicy. I'm not big on sides, b/c 100% of the time sides are normally bland/nasty. I taste tested, when I say I was surprised the green beans were well season onions and bacon was used. Baked beans were surprisingly good too. The Mac&cheese was ok, I ate it all. Here is the reason why I will on buy my bbq from Angels. Being that I bought 2 plates (could've been more than 3 slices in the brisket plate). I had a lot of meat b/c I ordered 6 ribs. Yes all the meat was tender and juicy, but I just KNEW when I put the meat in the microwave the meat would've dried out. It sure dang didnt. I had a moment in the first reheated bite... I was like this must be magic. How can u reheat in microwave and the meat not dry out?? I ate on the meat for 3 days! Never dried out in the microwave. I hope next time I go they'll be able to fry. #Respect read more
