I'm here because this is the very same Sac-O-Suds from the movie "My Cousin Vinny." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CYxJAa4nm0 Yes, the movie was set in Alabama but they used this rural convenience store in Georgia and the Jasper County Courthouse as the courthouse. Georgia gives a lot of tax credit for filming in their state. It's a thing. Other than taking my photos, stealing a can of tuna and then killing the clerk, nothing else happened here. Kidding about the last parts but they did actually sell a "My Cousin Vinny" canned tuna as a souvenir. [Review 1067 of 2024 - 735 in Georgia - 22095 overall]

Stopped at the Sac 0 Suds to swipe a can of tuna. Was very disappointed the store was still closed despite a sign on the door saying "I'll be back in 30 minutes". We waited. Nothing. Store surroundings were run down but it was still nice to be there. No 'curb' for the tires to run on...Went to the courthouse. A law enforcement officer told me the store had been closed for a couple of years. The owner still lived in the area but business was so bad he had to shut it down. The courthouse has changed also - unrecognizable now. Sad really. Still worth the visit to the store and the town.

When I've been at Clarity, I always find myself needing a quick little something and always check into Square to see if they have what I'm needing. Before one event at Clarity, I found that I didn't have batteries for our LED sign. I couldn't image getting in my car and going to a local store for them and didn't know if Square would have any but, why the heck not. I was so hype when I went in and was told that they had batteries - YES! Because what the heck is a Yelp event without those LED letters? LOL. I also love to get some extra energy prior to events with a Celsius and a snack, and they're always stocked up, clean and super welcoming. Little in size, massive on the convenience level!
