Georgia gives a lot of tax credit for filming in their state. It's a thing. Other than taking my photos, stealing a can of tuna and then killing the clerk, nothing else happened here. Stopped at the Sac 0 Suds to swipe a can of tuna. Was very disappointed the store was still closed despite a sign on the door saying "I'll be back in 30 minutes". We waited. Nothing. Store surroundings were run down but it was still nice to be there. No 'curb' for the tires to run on...Went to the courthouse. A law enforcement officer told me the store had been closed for a couple of years. The owner still lived in the area but business was so bad he had to shut it down. The courthouse has changed also - unrecognizable now. Sad really. Still worth the visit to the store and the town.

(The latter includes chocolate-, yogurt-, and peanut-butter-covered pretzels; malt balls; sesame sticks; trail mix; chocolate-covered raisins, etc.). There is a freezer full of frozen food options with a microwave and plastic utensils. A fridge full of drinks. A Keurig coffee maker. Lots of typical convenience store items, e.g., pain relief and hygiene items, greeting cards. The store also offers laundry and dry cleaning with next day service. There is a shoe shining station, though I've never seen anyone using it. Cash only for purchases under $5 (or something low like that). The woman who runs it is really friendly and wants to be as helpful as possible. If there's anything you want that she doesn't have, she'll try to get it.

This place has every type of little candy you could think of including 10 different flavors of Now…read moreand Laters. Their prices are a little high, but they are a convenience store. They also have gift cards and will send our your dry cleaning for you.

I was overcharged for drinks that I purchased. I reviewed my receipt and noticed the price, so I…read moreimmediately back in with my receipt to ask for the difference. I was immediately advised the price was for the regular flavor and not the varieties. I went to double check the posted price and the sign showed a photo of all flavors and stated "All varieties". I pointed this out to the owner who said he couldn't give it to me for the price posted because he has to pay more now. I told him he should remove the sign if he wasn't going to honor the price and requested a refund. I initially paid with a credit card and he states to me the credit card machine is down and he can't give me a refund. I asked what was wrong with it and he states he doesn't know. I told him to figure it out and now demanded a refund for everything I purchased. He gave me cash back and told me not to come back again. This store does not honor prices posted, lies to customers (machine down), and gets mad when they can't take advantage of people. I will NEVER patronize this place again!

There are a few cashiers that work here that are very pleasant and then there are some that are mouthy, trashy, zero class and just very rude! This is one of the more lackluster QuikTrips I've been to in recent memory. It's one of the older,…read moresmaller, pre-"Gen 3" stores. For reference, QuikTrip started constructing the Gen 3 stores in 2011. They're noticeably bigger and better than the older stores. However, there were a few other reasons why I thought this QT was lackluster. During my visit on a Saturday around 12:30pm, several of this gas station's 20 pumps were out of service. Also, the gas pumps were in relatively poor condition (for a QT, a brand which has set a high standard for itself) and the overall property was small compared to newer QTs which have been built on bigger, more spacious lots. So, this QT felt more crowded, congested, and less comfortable than I'm typically used to with QT. It wouldn't surprise me if this QT was torn down and a new one was built on a bigger lot nearby, like was done to the one on Chamblee Tucker Rd near I-85. All that said, I was still able to reliably get gas at a reasonable price and be on my way. I used pump 4 and after I was done pumping, it told me to go inside and see the cashier for my receipt. I hadn't seen that message at a QT in years. Usually, the receipts print fine. This is QuikTrip store #770. It's located just off I-20 exit 82 (SR 20 / SR 138 - Conyers, Monroe, Athens) in Conyers, about 26 miles east of Atlanta.

Walked in didn't get the normal "welcome to Quick Trip", granted it's highly generic when they say…read moreit but at least they acknowledge a customer. I try not to go to this QT on Sundays because of the quality of service or lack there of but wanted a drink and snack so I tried again. Nope, 3 employees speaking to eachother behind the counter and didn't welcome the 3 of us that walked thru the either door. Grab a drink then head to the griller station to find opened hotdogs buns that were discarded for unknown reasons under the grillers. Grab something else and get to the condiment side only find that I need to wipe it down from previous customers leaving ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard and other trash all over the counter. Head to the counter and the young lady on the register is clearly on the phone having a conversation while ringing customers up. During the week it is always clean, employees are friendly and actually acknowledge customers, they may be in a conversation with each other but they will stop and answer questions or just assist a customer when or if something is needed. Saturdays is a hit or miss but Sundays is ALWAYS a miss, I should have known! ​

If that is your scene, they have a selection of edibles, vapes, and smokes. The cashier was friendly and efficient on our visit. On a Sunday around 8:00 they had good business with a consistent short quick moving line. The store is relatively quiet, but the near by business are loud and you can hear some outside noise inside the store. Great place to get a quick snack or soda.
