It was then that i noticed that written above the $2.31 it said 'for cash' in tiny font. I drove to the other 2 stations on the intersection to confirm that their price was $2.31 for any method of payment used. Yes, it was. I consider this as such a deceptive move by Shell. Had i noticed the small print, i would never have taken gas here. I can just imagine the other many customers who have been as shocked as i was. Additionally, they accept Kroger card, which should have resulted in a 3 cents discount. That did not work. I do not know why. I will not return to the gas station.
