D Market an Indian grocery store which is recently opened just less than a month ago in southside of Atlanta in McDonough, GA. Here you will find most of the Indian spices, snacks, veggies, grains, yougurt, rice bags, Dosa/Idli batters and more. The store is well organised, all alises are neatly stocked. The freezer items are fresh and nicely arranged. Customer service is great and Dinesh the owner of the store is very helpful. He tried to find from the customers whatlese need to be added to the store. Great Indian ambiance inside the store. Ample free parking is available in front of the store. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone for a visit. read more

This is a new Indian grocery store in McDonough. They still stocking up. Variety is quite good. The two owners are helpful when needed. A good addition to the area. read more

I forgot to snap pics of some of it, but here's what we had: Jerk pork - nephew's first time having it. It reminded him of bbq. He liked it and said it was moist Dumplings - also his first time and he assumed they'd have meat inside...was sad to learn it was just bread. Toddlers were happy to eat it for him. Brown stew chicken - it was dry and the outside of most pieces was hard as if it was cooked a while ago and reheated/overheated. It was slathered in gravy which helped the harder bits go down. The gravy was very good. I needed more for my rice and peas. Some of the peas were dried out too. The plantains in the dinner plate were drier than the ones in the side order. My cabbage was good; it still had some crunch so not over cooked. It was fresh and delicious. Plantains - the side order was good. Somehow they seemed more freshly made than the ones in the dinner plate. Patties/handpies - we had a jerk chicken and a spinach. I forgot to ask neph about his but my spinach one was on point when I heated it up later. I probably would have liked more filling.

In terms of the pastry, I do not remember the name, but this was like a sweetened rolled croissant with bacon. It was delicious, and quite filling for my first thing in the morning. I never had anything like this, so it was unique and I enjoyed it think candy bacon cross with a standard butter croissant. All the best things of both are had here.
